I still have tons of ninjago fanarts that I haven't posted and tons of paleo art ideas. But besides my usual activity i am also gonna be working on more personal stuff like photography diploma projects.

Moreover, I plan to hop on art fight for a bit! Informations will be dropped when ill be ready.

I am going to kick and scream because in japanese folklore there's a belief that the only thing that can kill a centipede is spitting on it, which has a direct connection with water + as a superstition it was believed that if a centipede went the way of a samurai it meant good luck in battle !!!

The fact that there was actually a master of fire who became a centipede will never cease to amaze me.

I'm barely alive. Yesterday I was taking pictures in the field for about an HOUR. That's literally the time I spent outside and still today hay fever has took my ability to hear in left ear, blessed me with terrible sore throat and my chronic sinusitis (that is the main influence on my one ear deafness ) My nose is stuffy and I feel like my brain is what I sneeze out. Vaguely literally. Ow.

And I want to go out and I want to frolick carelessly but if I would allergic asthma would probably end me. This world isn't for me it seems

Zane has been masking his true self since dr season 1

think about it

He probably doesn’t feel comfortable being himself in front of everyone because he’s expected to be the serious and logical one on the team and the whole Zane day thing was a whole stereotype of him. Nobody saw him as an emotional and silly person, only a smart robot and the administration saw him as equipment so he just didn’t feel right and the stereotype were being pushed down his throat

until when pixal shows up he starts acting more emotional and even pixal comments saying that she has never seen him this emotional. Zane also says that pixal is the only one who thinks like him so he can feel comfortable around her since she’ll understand whatever Zane is doing and that Zane can show his true self to her. His emotional side basically. He’s always been more logical than emotional theses past two seasons so this could explain why he’s been different lately

now about the whole bird line with Zanth, I can interpret as Zane feeling like he’ll get judged for doing it. The whole world basically sees him as a robot and he just thinks that he should just live to those expectations and he just thinks zanth will judge him for it cause Zane is always the serious one and it would seem out of character for him to do that

in conclusion:

the reason why Zane is more robotic now is cause stereotypes are being shoved down his throat and he can’t do anything about it unless the writers do something about it

I've always felt that Cole, as the Elemental Master of Earth, is the perfect "ground" for Jay. Both in terms of their powers and their personalities. Jay is electric, literally and emotionally, buzzing with energy, nerves, and hyperactivity. Cole is solid, steady, like the earth itself. He doesn't just balance Jay emotionally; he grounds him.

But what about Nya, the source of water energy, the flow? Water is a conductor of electricity. When electricity touches water, it spreads. It doesn’t resist, it flows. So while Cole grounds Jay, Nya draws the current out of him. It’s not about stopping the electric charge but about letting it move safely, freely.

Jay is often overwhelmed by what's inside him. Static builds up -emotionally, electrically. So he seeks water: rain, baths... jacuzzis (as it's often petrayed by the show!!) It’s not just about comfort, it’s about relief. Warm, bubbly water gives his lightning somewhere to go. It carries the storm out of him. That’s why he canonically loves hot tubs. It’s not a luxury thing...not entirely lol He is definitely dazed by it.

Yes, Nya. That's it, that's the final conclusion.

I YEARN to speak up about that one thing that i think the community got wrong-

I think that what Rogue wers is not fur or anything like that but bundled straw mino (蓑) Mino was used by farmers, travelers, and samurai alike, especially during rainy or snowy weather. Mino also provided some warmth and wind protection due to the straw's insulating properties... It was typically worn draped over the shoulders and tied at the chest.

Although, because its LEGO, it’s much smaller and more decorative than a real mino. It guess its more symbolic than practical.

Watched "The Most DREADFUL ninjago arc" by Ninjacole on YT which related to the entire drama with the love thing between Nya, Cole and Jay. Video's author brought up actually accurate issues regarding how it all is lowkey Nya's foult for believing that one love machine from Rebooted. And Cole in fact didnt see Nya in a romanatic way whatsoever (the whole situation gets brought up and Cole goes "wait who's Nya again?") And also how Jay made a lot of mistakes interrupting big moments And basically interrupting everything and being annoying and all.

But me being myself, headcannoning Jay as neurodivergent with hyperactive ADHD, wish for people to aknowledge it more. Like ofc he is loud and squeaky he's coping. Ofc he will interrupt, he has his brain SWARMED with thoughts he needs to spit out imidietly because he's afraid of forgetting them. He laughs off troubles because he doesnt want to be seen as weak and vulnerable by the rest of the squad. he certainly didn't have an easy past and growing up in a landfill (as its often shown in the series... ) bring him great self-worth issues
