not sure how intentional this is but in dr stone (esp in the first season or so) the stone villagers like kohaku, chrome, etc speak with more english words than senku and the more modern folk in the japanese sub. im thinking this is a nice character design as this “americanized japanese” is due to lillian’s influence on the village.
