Skins: a treasure trove of tik tok audios
I've been watching Skins (UK), and I keep stumbling on lines that have been turned into TikTok audios, so I decided to make a list of all of them.
Also, the writers really cooked with Cassie's lines.
Season 1
“Cassie.” “Cassie.”
2.“You can’t just treat me like shit and then just- ah fuck it.”
Season 2
“Have you ever been in love?” “No.” “Do you want me to describe it to you?”
“Love, love, love. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.”
“Hi mum, guess what? I’ve got a friend.”
“I’ll love you forever, Syd.” “You will?” “Yes, that’s the problem.”
Season 3
"Because I'll break your heart." "Maybe I'll break yours." "Nobody breaks my heart."
There are definitely more that I'm missing.

Kevin Can F Himself
I noticed in Season 2 that the colour scheme and overall cinematography for the "comedy" scenes became far less saturated, but also less '90s/2000s grainy sitcom' (more akin to that of Young Sheldon). I think it's to represent how Kevin's world is slowly unravelling, first with Allison actually standing up to him and then with Neil finally realising what a bad friend he actually is. So it's a way of blending the two worlds together as opposed to the overly saturated, campy colour palette they used for Kevin's scenes in season 1.
I also noticed how Neil or Kevin's dad never appear in Allison's scenes prior to season 2. They're only seen as background characters, and its only after Neil gets hit over the head with the bottle that he becomes a more complex character who's more than being goofy. It's like Neil is slowly becoming disillusioned by Kevin. This is seen especially in episode 2 where Kevin is treating him as an assistant and Neil goes from the living room to the kitchen.

Harry Potter vs. Percy Jackson
The age-old debate between fandoms is absolutely insane and should not exist, in my opinion. If you think Percy wouldn't absolutely body Harry, you're absolutely delusional and should perhaps develop a better literary understanding.
Percy is the son of a literal God who is one of the most powerful beings in Greek mythology. He is literally part God. Harry is nothing more than a wizard who probably wouldn't have made it past the first book without Hermione.
Percy went up against THE GOD OF WAR at only 12 and won. Not to mention, he was just beginning to tap into his powers at this point.
Even if we take their powers completely out of the equation, Percy would still trounce Harry. Sure, Harry was athletic and probably fast (especially after having to outrun Duddley for so many years). Percy trained at a camp that focused on improving his battle skills.
It's cannon that Percy "I wanted to see how much misery Misery could take" Jackson could control the water content in someone's body and ideally make it work against them.
Hypothetically, if the fight were to take place away from any body of water to even the playing field, Percy could still make hurricanes and earthquakes, which are enough to take out armies, much less one wizard.
"But Harry would just use *insert spell*." Harry's power is pretty much limited to a stick, that's notoriously not very durable. All it takes is one stream of water or sheer brute force from Percy to disarm him.
It's also canon that Percy hasn't unlocked his potential and that his power can only grow with him.

The O.C.- A Rant
Marissa Cooper gets on my fucking nerves!! I completely get that she was dealt a bad hand with her family (her father steals millions and winds up broke twice, her mother is a gold digger and overall intense woman, and her sister grows up to be equally as messy), and I sympathise with her. But she's constantly messing up her relationships with people who care about her (mainly Ryan), and she seems to be a serial cheater (the way they come is the way they go). Not only that, she keeps putting herself in harmful situations and refuses to do anything to help herself. Even when Ryan constantly warns her about Oliver and explicitly expresses his disdain for her growing relationship with Johnny, she continually goes against him.

Redheaded Weirdos
I truly believe Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid' and Arthur Weasley would get on like a house on fire.
They're both redheads and have a fascination with human/muggle things. I could see them spending hours swapping items from their collection, like little kids swapping candy on Halloween. Before exchanging completely false and exaggerated facts about each item.

If you think about it, the Percy Jackson universe is basically Rick Riordan's Fanon of Greek Mythology.

The voices of the Family Guy characters are so iconic and deeply embedded in my brain that I cannot unhear them whenever I watch something in which they're acting.
When I watched A Series of Unfortunate Events, I saw Lemony Snicket on the screen, but I heard Joe Swanson.
And when everyone was shipping Perry the Platapuss's boss's son with Vanessa Doofenshmirtz's, I had a difficult time because all I could hear was Chris Griffin.

The Brother-Love-Triangle Trope and the Grip It Has on Modern-Day Society:
(My Thoughts About My Life With the Walter Boys)
I cannot explain how much I hate the love triangle trope, especially when it involves two brothers. I fail to understand the grip it has on us as a society (The Summer I Turned Pretty, Vampire Diaries, etc.). And yet, I get roped into watching it and end up utterly enjoying it- to clarify, I enjoy the other storylines that take place more than the main storyline, and end up liking the side character more than the main characters.
The Characters: Usually, I can’t stand the main character (Elena, Belly, etc.) I find them insufferable and believe the boys fighting over her deserve much better. However, this was the first time I felt that the main character was worth much more than the boys. Jackie has such a good opportunity to be something more. I also felt like they could’ve focused more on her family’s death and how that affected her as a person. I get it’s based on a book- but the writers should’ve added that. This show deserved to have a 20-episode season; it had so much potential, and the ending felt rushed. (Honestly, what was that ending? He fixed one teapot, and then everything was forgiven?
One thing I did love- compared to the Wattpad book I read many moons ago, was how they delved into each character and gave them a deeper storyline.
Cole was insufferable from the start; his issues weren’t that deep. He treated everyone like shit. However, if they make a season 2 of this show, I would love to see a character arc for him, followed by a storyline concerning him and Kiley (maybe a fake-dating trope) because they make for an interesting pair.
Alex started off as a likeable character, but as the season progressed, he started getting annoying and then somehow redeemed himself in the last two episodes.
My favourite of all of them was Erin. I absolutely adored her. I loved her whole High School Musical character arc, and I’m dying to see more of her and Danny in season 2.
Another pair of characters that were absolutely perfect were Katherine and George. They were honestly such a power couple. I loved how big-hearted they were and how they made sure to pay attention to each child, even those that were not biologically theirs. Honestly, they are the parents everyone dreams of.
On an end note, I loved the intro. There was something so 2014 Tumblr about it that just fit the whole Wattpad-y origin.

to be loved by an artist
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham ran with Silver Springs, so Jack Antoff and Lorde could run just as fast with Writer in the Dark.
This is not me saying that one song is better than the other; rather, this is me pointing out that both the songs are about a love that was so painful and profound that it left a lasting impact on the individuals that were in them.
Stevie Nicks sings, "Time casts a spell on you, but you won't forget me. I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me. I'll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you. You'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you."
While Lorde sings, "Stood on my chest and kept me down. Hated hearing my name on the lips of a crowd." "Bet you rue the day you kissed a writer in the dark. Now she's gonna play and sing and lock you in her heart."
Everyone knows about the toxic romance that blanketed Fleetwood Mac, but I feel like the affair between Lorde and Jack Antoff isn't talked about enough- especially when it's just as painful and emotional.
While Fleetwood Mac wrote and performed songs about each other, Lorde's album Melodrama was written and produced by her and Jack. Not only that, but it was allegedly also about the affair that bloomed between the two of them while they were making the album.
The songs involve them telling the other person that no matter how far they go or how much they forget about her, their time together has been encapsulated in her music because she's and artist, and to be loved by an artist is to be frozen in time.
