indonesia is not well at all. WE NEED YOUR HELP.

I'm indonesian and i'm hella proud about it, except for the fact that our current govt is corrupt as hell and don't care much about the citizens.

the govt members got really rich off of taxing their people. 60% of indonesians are poor without suitable and humane living conditions. the taxes are insanely high, not to mention what happened at raja ampat and papua too. they only want money for themselves while the poor get poorer and the beauty of this country is tarnished.

demonstrations are incited all over the country (not just in the capital). it was originally quite peaceful, but some policemen rammed over an online delivery service person (ojek online/ojol) and he died. gojek (the ojol service)'s workers thus did a mass demonstration as well.

it gets worse.

jakarta experienced a blackout as well as night shootings with snipers and intel members stationed at various spots including but not limited to universities, random corners of the streets, and demonstration groups. They have resorted to live ammo (NOT rubber bullets) and aim for the head.

People have died. People have been kidnapped. People have been threatened to get doxxed if they don't shut up. TikTok Live and Instagram is down. Mass media and news channels are told to not broadcast anything regarding this. Roads are blocked and universities have sent out warnings to the students to stay inside.

Even medics, journalists and indo-chinese have been brutalized for simply being there and doing their jobs. Spies have been implanted to provoke and incite anarchism to justify the use of force by the police and military. These spies have (provoked the mass to) burnt buildings and ransacked shops and houses and public facility.

All of this while the actual govt members are out on holidays to Singapore, Australia, China, and out of Indonesia, enjoy tone-deaf singing while being absolutely deaf to the citizen's voices and struggles.

Please.

This needs to stop.

I don't know how to write a blog post of this kind, but there are those who have written them about indonesia's current situation right now that are better and more detailed. Please, reblog them. Blaze them. Spread the news.

Yep. I’ve said for a long time—Usopp learned the wrong lesson. That’s what hurts. And you’re so right: this one’s a Luffy problem.

It drives me wild how the fandom gives both Luffy and Zoro way too much power in this arc, like they’re the ones with moral clarity—when really, they just didn’t know how to sit in the discomfort of someone else’s pain. That’s not leadership. That’s emotional avoidance dressed up as authority.

Take Zoro. When he bowed to Mihawk and gave up his pride? That was a personal decision. No one forced him to do that. It wasn’t about rules. It was his code, his way of showing loyalty, on his terms. And that’s fine—it was powerful because it was his alone.

So when he turns around and expects Usopp to do the same—publicly swallow his pride, apologize in a specific way, or risk being shut out—it becomes clear: this was never pirate law. It was Zoro’s worldview being enforced like gospel. And when fandom frames that as objective truth, it only reinforces that false hierarchy.

People say Zoro “sees things plainly,” but what they’re really saying is that his perception holds more value. That Usopp’s emotions, fear, and grief were messy, so they needed to be “corrected.” But Usopp wasn’t being disrespectful. He was terrified. He was grieving the ship, his worth, his place. He cracked under the weight of feeling left behind. And instead of being met with compassion, he was met with conditions.

That’s not honor.

That’s textbook social conditioning—rewarding stoicism, punishing vulnerability.

And the worst part? Luffy ends the arc doing exactly what Usopp was afraid of. Acting like he was fine leaving him behind. Refusing to name the grief. Refusing to acknowledge the emotional cost. Just like with Merry.

So yeah. Usopp learned the wrong lesson.

Not about loyalty. Not about friendship.

But about what parts of himself were “acceptable” if he wanted to stay.

And that’s the part I won’t accept.

And I needed to say it.

It drives me nuts how Luffy’s refusal to show grief for Merry or acknowledge Merry’s importance is a big part of what sets Usopp off during the argument, only for Luffy later to pretty much do the same thing to Usopp at the end of the arc when he acts like he’s fine leaving him behind.

Jackson's speech at GOT7 show really hit differently after the High Alone music video. It was already sad, but now I can't stop sobbing hysterically.

I really hope in these two years of Yugyeom and Youngjae military service, the rest of the boys will keep physical contact, not just talking via phone/face time or whatever else. I need them together in the same space to cheer each other and just be there for each other 😭 They all need it. And it seems like Jackson needs them especially hard.
