I have something to say...

This blog is more than four months old now. It started so small and I’d never expect that it could get so big. 4,950 is an unbelievable number. For a period of time, connorfixinghistie became a main part of my life and relationship with mutuals affected me a lot to the extent that it’s not healthy for me anymore. Honestly, dbh fandom is the most wholesome fandom I’ve ever been in so far (well I perfectly avoided drama so). Y’all are so nice and supportive, especially for my fics.

I’m really grateful that I have y’all. I really, really hope that my blog brings you joy or at least a little bit. There’s enough quality content here, all the things that I reblogged. So many new blogs have appeared in the fandom and most of them are really good. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to know all of you.

Sorry. I feel like I’d better be gone.

It’s not just that I’m not as interested in dbh as before. It’s also about insecurity, failures, and so many other things like school shit. This fandom gives me a lot of love, I know. Some of you do care and stay around, I appreciate it. But certain things go wrong... Those ones who are close to me may know. I might be being dramatic, but human. And I need to take care of my physical and mental health.

I won’t delete this blog.

I won’t be on this blog either.

Awaken

Deviancy, the burning flame.

You, the blasting fuse. 

Everything started so subtly, like a small fire dancing on a slender candle. Connor tried hard to blow it off, but every time you came to his mind, the fire aggressively grew. Then, it spread from his heart, across his whole body, to his fingertips. The ones that touched yours. He gave in. There was a moment of fear as the other side of him, the side that him thought he’d never have, started to unfold uncontrollably. It was an urge, to be alive and loved, that he could not prevent. Thus, he let that happen, he let it burn. 

Amazed, he watched the fire light up his whole system, burn down the scarlet wall of instructions, and pump energy into his biocomponents. Opening his arms, Connor felt the rigidity of a machine melting, dropping down with the rain. He felt alive, so alive, as all the human emotions that he did not understand suddenly became crystal clear, and unbelievably intense. 

Love was the strongest among all, a mix of uncertainty and excitement that gave his artificial heart a reason to beat. The idea of holding you close, kissing your lips and making you his almost drove Connor crazy as he realised that he could never get that out of his head.
