CAECWEDWEFWED- AAAAAAIDK WHICH ONES TO PICK-

A couple of things stick out in my mind in particular, though-

This one seems to be more widely-known. When you're helping Wheatley with his plan to escape the facility, when he talks about "Bring your daughter to work" day, if you look at the science fair project with the giant potato plant growing up into the ceiling, in the bottom right of the project, Chell's name is there. That's an easter egg that gets talked about a lot.

In one of the chambers, the one with a turret in the vent as you walk in, if you kill that turret with the laser and go through the vent, you can come across four other turrets singing/playing music/effectively serenading the big white turret you see at the end as you leave the facility. Also see a lot of stuff mentioned about that, but I don't think I see that one get talked about quite as much? Probably because it's not necessarily related to lore or character backgrounds like the first is, though.

In the chamber after the one that initially introduces aerial faith plates, if you take the radio that comes out with the trash, there's an office/room in that test chamber with a broken window. You should take the radio with you to that room. :)

And this last one is more just a funny detail, BUT I DON'T SEE ENOUGH PEOPLE MENTIONING IT- maybe just because I don't go looking for stuff like this much anymore, but still-

So, after Wheatley takes control of the facility, and you and GLaDOS come back to the upper floors of Aperture, GLaDOS uses her plan to fry Wheatley's circuits by saying a paradox. Plan fails, because he's a moron. GLaDOS barely manages not to fry herself.

...The cubes in that room are fried, though!

In other words, they're smarter than Wheatley. Scientifically proven to be, even. XD

I'd have to go back through and the play the game again, but holy shit, I hyperfixated on this game SO MUCH in middle school- XD

Does Spamton feel guilty about other darkners he killed? Before the whole failed part..

Somewhat, yeah. But his biggest problem is more or less that he was told to do it, and he felt the need to comply.

He also worries about what would've happened if Blip hadn't greeted him and shown genuine concern for his well-being... Would he have listened to Kris then, if he still assumed Blip and his other siblings no longer cared about him? But he still cares deeply about them himself, so would he still have turned on Kris, despite how he thought they felt? Those sorts of questions keep him up at night. And the insomnia he had already, but that's besides the point.

He does still feel bad about killing certain people he didn't know, or ones he might've known well enough to know they hadn't really done anything to deserve that, in his mind.

Like I said, the manipulation aspect is still what gets to him most. The rest mostly bothers him if it's brought up directly or if he thinks about it too much and starts having a PTSD attack.

It's a little complicated, but overall, he doesn't feel as bad about that as would be expected of the average darkner. I mean, I never said he was a good person.

He's just glad to be back with his family. Going out for food with them all and not realizing Blip sneakily paid for all of it already, going out with Gimmick and pickpocketing people near Queen's mansion, playing video games with Illy causing utter chaos together, talking to Spark and saying factually incorrect things about marine biology-

Normal stuff from before. XD Of course, not everything's back to normal, and will never get to be, but he's still glad he's back with his siblings.

Wonder what it would take for Spark to process the situation. Or is it going to just happen?

If you're talking about the events of the Failed Salt Route, it would take a while for them to process, since they didn't directly witness any of it. ADHD's effects on object permanence can do that (I think it's object permanence). :') Same for Illy, but they'd be quicker to process it for other reasons.

It would probably take Spamton having a PTSD attack while Spark's nearby for them to realize how much it affected him, if that's what you mean. So, a couple weeks later? To process the general loss of life, that would take much longer, or it may never fully sink in.

If you're wondering about future writing in this ask... ah. Oops. ^^" I've been meaning to write more of this, and then I just. Didn't. :') Usually getting distracted by other games, of course.

That's something that probably wouldn't have been covered in the main parts of this timeline anyway, but it'd be an interesting one-shot on the side, and I already have Ideas™-
