I want an AU where S4 didn't happen but Hopper is back and the Byers live in Hawkins and Max is good and El has her powers, so all the kids are enjoying life in peace whilst Eddie is trying to graduate.

The OG party (Dustin, Lucas, Mike, and Will) join the DND club and are like "Eddie <3". Max and El have met him before a few times but they usually stick together when at school and ignore everyone else, including Eddie Munson trying to befriend two of his newbie freshmen's girlfriends (depending on your ships, I don't really mind).

Steve drives Robin to and from school every day, so people find out they are friends and rumours start in Hawkins High that a weird band girl is dating Ex-King, mature, and still hot Steve Harrington.

Eddie is weirdly invested in this "new Steve". As someone who claims to not give a shit about Highschool bullshit, Eddie does enjoy listening to drama. Once, in front of his newbie freshmen, Eddie talks about his old (and regretful) crush on King Steve.

Dustin's mouth falls open, Will rolls his eyes ready for what's coming, and Lucas winces. Mike Wheeler goes on a tangent about how disgusted and grossed out he is and how he expected better from Eddie. Eddie is shocked, he didn't expect his freshmen to be homophobic, especially with the vibes he got from Will, and he tells Mike he can leave if he's so disgusted about Eddie's sexuality.

Mike rolls his eyes. He says "I don't care if you wanna suck a dick, Eddie. Just don't suck his dick."

Then the kid just. Leaves. To go to class.

The rest of the kids follow him, Dustin is angry and yelling after Mike, Lucas is tired and going to meet Max, and Will is at least apologetic. He tells Eddie "Mike pretends he doesn't like Steve, but he doesn't mind. I swear."

Eddie is left there, in shock at the kid's audacity. Okay, Eddie thinks. The kid just doesn't like Steve Harrington. Maybe he was bullied by him. Or maybe the guy did something to Nancy Wheeler when they dated. Whatever. Eddie wasn't that curious. He wasn't, Gareth!

After school, the same day, Jason Carver corners Dustin by the back of the school. The Party is being held back. Eddie is about to try to diffuse the situation or do something, anything, to help one of his stupid freshmen.

When a voice calls "Hey!"

And here comes Steve fucking Harrington strolling up like he still owned the high school. Robin Buckley, the kooky band girl, is behind him next to Jonathan Byers, the loner weirdo, and Nancy Wheeler, the teacher's pet.

Jason Carver turns around, to address Steve Harrington when King Steve lands a punch across his mouth. Steve Harrington kicked him to the floor, letting him roll into the dirt, his basketball uniform staining.

Steve Harrington helps Dustin Henderson up, dusting him off. He only has to raise an eyebrow at the rest of Jason Carver's team before they're scrambling away from the freshmen.

Without looking back, Steve Harrington leads Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Will, El, Max, Robin, Nancy, and Jonathan in the direction of the car park.

Eddie Munson watches, utterly confused, and so horny.

This would be like 5 chapters and by the end, we would make it to Steddie.

If the Duffers want to do a roundabout back-where-we-started thing with S5, we're going to have similar groupings: Mike, Will, Lucas, and Dustin; Nancy and Jonathan and Steve; Joyce and Hopper. El and Max can be together, and Robin and Argyle can bond pls.

I want Steve and Jonathan and Nancy to be friends. I hate love triangles with my heart, body, mind, and soul. I don't want that.

I want Steve to save Jonathan's life. I want "you know, you're not *that* bad" and "you're not awful either". I want Jonathan to see how much Steve has grown. I want Steve to see why Nancy chose Jonathan.

I want THIS to be the finish line for Steve's character arc.

Not Nancy as a prize: Nancy knows he's changed.

JONATHAN doesn't believe it. JONATHAN never liked Steve. Steve was a dick to JONATHAN specifically. He was bad to Nancy when she was with JONATHAN.

If Jonathan knows he's changed, then Steve's character development is finally complete.

And with Jonathan finally seeing Steve, comes Steve finally seeing Jonathan.

Seeing a man just trying to protect his mum, his brother. Seeing how far this man has gone to protect his family.

And we all know how Steve can relate to that.

With everything with Billy going to shit, Steve's the next big brother figure. He protected her from Billy.

Then with Max's mum drinking and Neil gone, Steve's her only parental figure left. Ergo: Mum.

Third: El

I don't have a reason for this. I just want them to be siblings.

Mainly inspired by the "Dingus, your children are here!" in S3x01

I think Steve would've talked to Mike about it. And his relationship with Nancy (which, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THEM IN S4???).

Maybe Mike would've seen Steve as the father figure he never had with his dad <3

Will's last, mainly because of Steve's tension with Jonathan

Steve also did insult his entire family in S1

Gryffindor Quidditch Team - 1976

Captain: James! He managed to get it over Frank + Alice, and even after he protested that he didn't deserve it, they convinced him.

Chaser 1: James. I think he got it around 2nd-3rd year. And he had a brief career in 5th year as a seeker because no one signed up. Boy, was that a mess.

Chaser 2: Frank. My boy was 10000% on the team. One year older than James, he's been on the team since maybe his 4th year? The same year as James joined.

Chaser 3: Emmeline. She was competitive! Also quidditch rivalry with Dorcas before they broke it off.

Beater 1: Sirius! Don't tell me you don't love this hc. He joined around 4th year. "Friendly" competition with Marlene.

Beater 2: Marlene. Again, perfect hc. Also joined 4th year. Originally there was only one spot, which lead to competition, but Marlene was picked over the past beater. Also quidditch rivalry with Dorcas!

Seeker: Alice. Her childhood bestie (James Fleamont Potter) convinced her to sign on for the last game in his 5th, her 6th. Also where she met Frank.

Keeper: Gideon. He was buff okay. Could broad shoulder in front of the entire goalpost, me thinks. Also he was the quieter one, so depth!

Sirius & Peter: UNDERRATED AF!! i hate the whole “sirius hated peter” hc bcuz they were ALL besties for me. big brother younger brother vibes. like teasing and rough-housing and consensual bullying type of thing. but also super overprotective?? “you hurt my brother, i will gouge your eyes out”, but both of them would say it.

Mary & Marlene: complete queens. i feel like the line of platonic romantic would be super blurry for them. definitely hooked up at least once. they were each others wing women!! mary was also the most supportive mf out there and marlene would be up anyone who talked shit about her.

Dorcas & Barty: murder besties. talking shit and gossiping and spreading rumours the whole shebang. these two were the mean girls of hogwarts. stubborn af, so when they have long arguments, everyone knows. always each others back up.

James & Alice: very cliche brother-sister relationship. overprotective immature himbo bro trying his best, naïve angry&short sis trying to get on with her life. like in cliche teen movies. james taught alice how to not take anyones shit. “how do you know how to fight?” “i have an older brother” trope that i dont really like but theyre amazing enough that i do.

Lily & Sirius: supportive👏rivals👏. arguments over the most stupid shit. best hair club. staying up late with each other. not allowed to play monopoly together. ever. wine pals. when one of them loose the arguments, theyre going to be super butthurt. dramatic bitches.

Regulus & Dorcas: dorcas being reguluss parent. “fuck it, im your mum now.” “dorcas youre only a year older than me.” “IM YOUR MUM NOW.” debates over politics. evil smiles over tea. teaching each other random skills. vibing to Fleetwood Mac. chill arguments. PASSIVE AGRESSIVENESS.

Remus & Peter: books. snacks. procrastination. sunshine and sunshine protector. hiding away from other kids in the kitchens. quietly roasting other students right in front of them. smartest prank ideas. 

Marlene & Pandora: ginnyluna friendship. overprotective girlies. accepting all of pandoras quirks no questions asked. “calm down, marlene. it means nothing to me.” “I WILL NOT CALM DOWN YOU DONT HURT MY PLANT GIRL”. care of magical creatures and divination buddies.
