I would also just like to add one thing and maybe this will influence your votes!

No matter who you choose, the reader insert will most likely be a Fem!Reader or a Gen!Reader because I write from the perspective I know. So characters like Ragatha, Pomni, Gangle, and Zooble will have a more sapphic-leaning arc with the reader-insert.

I personally feel like there isn't a lot of sapphic stories in the TADC community that I've read so even if this story ends up having Jax or Kinger as the love interest (which are also wonderful stories to explore), I will one day write a sapphic story for the TADC community as well. I have a lot of ideas for this universe, so please stay tuned no matter who wins this poll!

Just watched the new TADC episode and oh my god, I have thoughts.

The Amazing Digital Circus has been subtly laying the groundwork for Ragatha’s emotional unraveling. Her constant optimism masks growing despair, and the world around her is slowly eroding her ability to cope. If the show continues on this trajectory, Ragatha may either be the next to abstract, or come terrifyingly close.

Ragatha is often portrayed as the “nice one,” the peacemaker, the one trying to maintain some semblance of positivity in a nightmarish world. But look closer, she’s also consistently isolated:

Pilot: She’s the only one who tries to comfort Pomni, yet she’s brushed off. Even her kindness is met with suspicion.

New episodes: The others treat her like background noise. Her upbeat attitude is tolerated at best, but rarely reciprocated.

People seem to see her as disingenuous. She's “too nice,” too much of a people-pleaser, someone putting on a fake face.

This forces Ragatha into a role where she has to be liked, but is never truly seen. She’s stuck in a loop: the more she tries to be included, the more it highlights her outsider status.

Ragatha’s cheery persona is beginning to show cracks. Moments in the new episode hint that she’s deeply aware no one values her.

She seems to be internalizing the belief that her worth depends on what she does for others. But in the Digital Circus, effort means nothing. That’s the horror of it. You can try your best and still be punished. You can love and be left behind.

That kind of emotional invalidation? It’s the perfect storm for abstraction.

I mean, look at her character design. Ragatha is a doll. Dolls are meant to be played with, posed, and then left behind. They smile, even when they’re cracked.

There are moments where her expressions don’t quite match the tone of the scene. Lingering smiles that feel plastered on, like someone desperately trying to keep it together.

That kind of dissonance is exactly what abstraction feeds on.

Let’s be real: the show needs a major character abstraction eventually to raise the stakes. And Ragatha?

She’s likable.

She’s vulnerable.

She’s safe enough to shock the audience but not so safe it would derail the whole show.

Which makes her the perfect candidate.

Even if she doesn’t go full abstraction, a near-miss could be just as devastating.

We could see a moment where Ragatha snaps, maybe even lashes out, and is moments away from losing it, but someone pulls her back. Maybe Pomni. Maybe Jax. Maybe it’s too late.

Either way, the breakdown is coming. And if she doesn’t go over the edge next episode, she’ll be hanging on by a thread.

I just published the Prologue and Chapter 1 of my new fanfic, Wings of Flame, on AO3! Ahhh, this is crazy. Set in the Hazbin Hotel universe, this is set to be a slow-burn self-insert with a focus on an Alastor x Reader x Lucifer. I'm really excited to share it with you all, and I really hope you enjoy! Book Summary: As punishment for their reckless act, Heaven cast Lucifer and his love into the dark pit he had created, never allowing him to see the good that came from humanity, only the cruel and the wicked. Ashamed, Lucifer lost his will to dream. But Lilith thrived, empowering demon-kind with her voice and her songs. And as the numbers of Hell grew, so did its power. Threatened by this, Heaven made a truly heartless decision—that every year, they would send down an army, an extermination to ensure Hell and its sinners could never rise against them. But Lilith's hope remained. And her dream was passed down to their precious daughter, the Princess of Hell.

Yet, they always forget one part of the story: you, the fallen angel who hasn't given up on the sinners of Hell. While Heaven cast you out along with Lucifer, you refused to let go of your faith in the goodness that still lingered within the damned, hiding yourself in the shadows as you protect the eternally damned. y'all might be getting a prologue and chapter 1 real soon for my Alastor x Fallen!Angel x Lucifer book. it'll be posted on my AO3 first and then depending on how it's received, i might repost onto Wattpad and here 👀

this is my first time writing an actual book length piece. normally i write oneshots but i wanted to try to go out of my comfort zone this year so i hope y'all enjoy! this is a real slow burn by the way, like truly i'm playing with the heart with this one so please be aware.
