I was thinking about how Lacey Games is meant to portray girlhood traumas and wounds (I absolutely ADORE minaxa’s video on this topic) and I ended up thinking about the exact topics of the games. Lacey-centered games tend to deal with either stress and pressure, or the abuse from the men in her life and it’s effects, meanwhile the Jay-centered game we got to see had to deal with societal pressures and toxic femininity.

This lead me to develop a theory/headcanon—In Maisie-centered games like Maisie’s horoscope, would their be an exploration of racism and it’s effects on a woman of color’s girlhood?
