Note to anyone still around, I have decided to add Shiro to my multimuse!
He’ll be mostly Skyrim based (I wont really do anything with the whole “also DAI”), and activity will depend on threads he might get and otherwise memes and asks. But yes, he’s back, except on another blog!

I don’t know might still check this blog, but I think it is best if I close it. I don’t really have time to spend keeping it active with lore/etc, and no threads too, so unless I have a thread return or time to post things, this blog is closed!

goldenthiefshiro:
Shiro waited, watching the Mer and knowing after a few seconds that he might not reply. The other looked frozen, and it occured to the thief that the Mer could have not known at first what Shiro’s intentions were. And even knowing he was a thief and not an assassin, the blond felt that the other might not realize the Thief Guild avoided killing. Then again, maybe the Mer didn’t guess Shiro was from the Guild.
Heterochromatic eyes blinked at the Mer, head tilting to the side as he still waited. One might have think his smile would have dropped, but instead it changed from mischievious to genuine amusement. Then, he chuckled.
“I’ll take that as a no. Or that you don’t know. Ah well, it’s not like I’m in a hurry.” The blond shrugged before moving again. But he didn’t go for the door, he went straight for the Mer, fast and not quite seen until he was in front of the Mer.
A gloved hand wrapped over the Mer’s mouth, but not enough to hurt, the other hand on the Mer’s shoulder as if to ground him. It meant neither hands could reach a dagger easily, although Shiro’s expression was more serious.
“You keep quiet, okay? I would really prefer to be in and out without troubles. I don’t really want to fight anyone.” Intense eyes watched over the Mer’s face, obviously reading the expression there, yet at no point did his grip got tighter.
As the silence stretched on and neither of them moved, Torohir felt his anxiety grow more and more prominent. His chest constricted tighter and tighter, his breaths quiet as though he wasn’t taking in enough air.
Then, the intruder spoke, and the next thing he knew there was a hand covering his mouth.
His eyes went wide, and every part of his body froze. His ears snapped downwards in fear, and his chest felt like it had shattered into pieces. He fought the urge to cry out of shock and fear, to let the tears that rapidly welled in his eyes fall down his face.
This is it, he thought, I’m going to die. Gods I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die—
And yet, a small voice in the back of his mind was whispering…so what if a blade stabs you in the back? So what if your neck is snapped? So what if you’re left with your life literally draining?
His eyes closed tightly, and he whimpered, shoulders trembling. The intruder said he didn’t want a fight; well, he sure wasn’t getting one from him, that was for sure.
Why doesn’t he just end it already?

Archetype quiz
53% Rebel
The Rebel is comfortable throwing caution to the wind—and bucking the system—if that means getting their point across. 32% Explorer
The Explorer is drawn to the unknown, whether that’s a Himalayan peak or the road not taken, and have a thirst for adventure. They take journeys, not vacations. 15% Visionary
Leave it to others to live by the status quo. The Visionary is interested in new ways of seeing, solutions not yet imagined, products not yet built.
I have to say, though, that it is hard replying to the test. I took it a first time, I got Rebel, Explorer and Athlete (I think it was something like ~65%, ~15% and 10%) but it didn’t feel true.
These results feel better, but my “problem” is that Shiro is... wild? dual sided?
It’s true that he’s a rebel. He doesn’t really care for laws, although he won’t go out of his way to break them. There’s stuff he wouldn’t do, or at least not go out of his way either. For ex, he might have been safer within the Dark Brotherhood, but he preferred thieving over assassination. This does mean, however, that he considered both before choosing.
It’s also true he’s an explorer. But I think... Shiro as he’s seen/known in the Thief Guild can’t show that side of him. Because here’s the thing: he loves to see new places, to discover them. He loves to know what was created.
So in true, Shiro the thief is more of a rebel than explorer, but the “real” Shiro (the one who can do as he please), is more of an explorer. Which is confirmed by retaking the test a third time (the first two results switched).
Visionary, Athelete or Advocate (what came up when I retook the test a third time as “real” Shiro) are... kind of small side of him? I feel he’s too... He’ll react and act differently depending on situation or people.
He’s totally a caregiver with his family, and a deep part of him is very royal. But I can also argue that he has little of other things, like spiritual, or even creative.
Which makes me think: he’s part of the creation forces, so of course he has little of everything. Or, to be more truthfull, all of creation took after Shiro (and his brothers).
#Headcanon#personality#background#(a little quiz that end up touching stuff from both personality and background XD)#(I love how I havent yet posted about his background and there are little infos in this)#(people be like *read read-* wait what WHAT HES WHAT)

That battle style is rather close to how I picture Shiro’s own.
In fact, Aram from Chain Chronicle is rather fitting for a FC. White hairs, light eyes (I can change one eye to blue, and make the green one lighter), a thief/rogue....
Even the expressions fit Shiro. But the best is, I created Shiro way before Chain Chronicle start. Sometimes you create a character around a FC, but that’s not the case for Shiro.
I created Shiro, got a first visual appearance with rinmarugames, always had an idea on his personality and stuff. Then one day, the first ep of Chain Chronicle (the most recent anime version), and I saw Aram, and I just:
“... This is a Shiro look-alike. He will work as a FC. I have been blessed by luck.”
Because let’s face it, unless you work a character around a FC, it’s very hard to find a FC that works.
More Aram FC under the cut~ (Well two gifs really)

dalish-black-sheep:
Torohir’s brow furrowed as the intruder lifted a finger for “quiet,” and ear twitching at the small smile on their face. If this was an assassin, they were one of the oddest individuals he had ever met. Yet, perhaps that was how they got away with their work: sway the servants to keep quiet as their masters were slain.
His eyes never left the trespasser as they slinked about, keeping to the shadows; they knew what they were doing for sure, considering  how he lost track of them once a number of times.
At least, that’s what he believed. He wouldn’t know for sure; he didn’t care for the concept of stealing from others, even the rich.
When the intruder spoke, their voice sounded masculine; a male? Nonetheless, a suspicion of his was confirmed: they were a thief after all. At least he had one answer to the laundry list that was flying about in his head.
One of which was how to respond.
He couldn’t find the will to speak; however, he was still too shocked to move, rendering any opportunity for him to sign a message null and void. That, and there was no telling if the thief had any knowledge of the language of hands; not many seemed to have any experience of such.
As it was, he still had no means of communication—his body was still gripped with the mental strife of how to act, what to do. It would be so easy to just tilt his head in a certain direction, to help the thief on his way; yet he could cause a commotion, call for help, be rewarded for his good deed…
He remained silent, simply staring at the thief.
Then again, maybe the Mer didn’t guess Shiro was from the Guild.

dalish-black-sheep:
The day had been just another: working around the palace grounds, cleaning messes and sprucing up plants; checking on the mounts, feeding and watering them and making sure they were exercised; and, of course, “attending” to his master’s “needs.”
Torohir hated it.
He hated it when he was first sold to the man who was currently his master, hated it the last time, and the time before that. He hated he had been captured and ushered into the underground slave trade at all; for five years he had suffered abuses ranging from physical to mental to sexual, all tearing down at his will to live more and more as each day came and went.
He just wanted to get away, to find his scattered family and friends, and to try to make a normal life. As it was, he was essentially trapped here; any attempt to flee would end with a beating or worse, as he had been forced to experience first-hand when a former slave had tried to do so.
Needless to say they were no longer among the living.
Shaking his head, Torohir simply sighed quietly, rubbing at the back of his neck. He was tired, and just wanted to sleep; hopefully, no nightmares would haunt his dreams that night.
An intruder was not expected.
He gasped in shock, frozen on the spot, eyes wide as the trespasser met his gaze. They appeared human, eyes two different colors: one blue, the other green. There was a glint at their waist; a pair of daggers. Were they here to assassinate nobleman that was his master? To kill everyone who saw them as they went about their task?
If he was honest with himself, such a prospect he wouldn’t have minded. If it meant freedom from “servitude"—he had to fight the harsh shudder that wanted to travel his frame at such a thought—then…the idea didn’t seem so bad.
He could finally be free. Not just handed some lie over and over that he was "free,” wherein it actually meant he couldn’t leave the mansion whatsoever. That, or he had to essentially barricade himself in his quarters unless he dared meet any guards who would-
The intruder held up a hand. Torohir’s brow furrowed; were they not here to kill then? Perhaps here to just assassinate the Lord of the house, he considered, or…to steal?
His chest constricted; he felt conflicted, and terribly so. A major part of himself said to leave the intruder be, to let them do as they wished and ignore the repercussions of their actions. And yet, a minuscule voice whispered he should act, that he should run and alert the guards; no doubt something ingrained into his mind due to his years of slavery, of the abuse he had faced.
He didn’t want to be hurt, not again.
Shiro didn’t move, once he lifted his hand, although he was ready to if need be. A part of him felt amused, because he could almost sense the Mer wondering what to do, just like Shiro himself. But it made Shiro question his presence, gaze flickering over the full form of the Mer with a faint frown of consideration. A servant, maybe? But why alone?
After a minute of silence, the thief decided to act. He pressed a finger to his lips, mouth quirked into a faint grin, a silent gesture to stay quiet. Then he moved, still crouched, seeking the shadows of the room. It was only good to hide his features, but it also made it a bit harder to follow his progress.
At first, Shiro simply walked along the wall, once or twice letting his eyes go from the Mer to furnitures, mapping what might be worth stealing. Deep down, he was waiting to see what the other would do, and halfway to the door, he stopped, gazing at the Mer and showing a small grin again.
“If I asked where’s the safe, would you reply?” He asked in a whisper, the silence carrying his voice just enough. “You know, just to save time.”
Now to see how the other would react. At least, Shiro was well placed to run back to the window if needed. Way better than if guards caught sight of him in the middle of the house, less risks of needing to fight. But the Breton hoped that the Mer would not alert guards, and if he was really lucky, maybe he would actually answer Shiro.
That would amuse him greatly, and he might stop by this room again to leave once the deed was done. Or another day, if he couldn’t. In fact, Shiro was way too curious. What was he doing here? Maybe he was just a servant, and that would satisfy Shiro’s curiosity. Or maybe he wasn’t, and he didn’t want to admit he was going through possibilities, feeling... unhappy about some of them.
In the end, Shiro waited for a reply, once again not moving, but this time watching the Mer with a little smile. Not a grin anymore, and he hadn’t realized it, but a smile of mischief. A thief, yes, but a good natured one.

@dalish-black-sheep
Shiro had chosen the house earlier in the day, deciding it would be his first stop for his little job. Bedlams were probably his favourites to receive, because it left him with freedom of targets. Of course, the blond knew to watch out for the marks that warned him off, but that never stopped him from finding the people and places to steal from.
He would do any jobs given, because the guild had offered him a safe place even if they didn’t know. But he would feel a little happy when he could rob the high class citizens that made him want to raise a storm.
The young Breton, or so he appeared, peered down from the roof, little smirk on his face as he blended with the shadows, unseen. Few would think of looking up, and Shiro had long trained in the art of being out of sight, of making almost to no sounds. It wasn’t just becoming a thief, as the very reason Brynjolf had noticed him was how Shiro had easily blended in the crowd.
It had been vital for Shiro, after all.
Once satisfied with the quiet street below, the guards far enough, Shiro scaled down the wall. He dropped silently on his target ledge, and worked on picking open the window. It wasn’t too hard and soon the male slipped inside.
Heterochromatic eyes swept around the room, and he froze. There was someone here. It wasn’t the noble, and he had not expected someone else. His cloak his feature well, without forgetting that he stood in shadows; but the fact remained that he had been seen.
Because Shiro could tell the person’s eyes were open when they met with his own blue and green.
It took Shiro a few seconds before he also noticed the pointed ears, head tilting to the side. He couldn’t quite guess which kind of Mer they were, but it felt strange to see them in this house. Then it occured to him that, in his crouch, his twin daggers were visible.
Shiro lifted a single hand, open and palm toward the Mer in a gesture almost meant to soothe. Part of Shiro didn’t want to scare them, he was a thief, and he was here for good, not for people. And part of Shiro hoped they weren’t about to scream, or attack.
Mercer wouldn’t be too happy if he got caught, though he had not intent to be. Just like he had no intent to fight.

I’m figuring out this blog might not be too active, in the sense that it might take a while to work out lore/worldbuilding, and that I might wait to have solid character sheets and plotting for the stories.
I might also turn this blog into a general “Advent of Spirits” blog (and not just Shiro centric), although there would still be stuff about Shiro. The series might become massive, as I know there will be a main storyline, romantic alternate stories, full out alternates stories (what ifs, etc); and possibly not related stories but with characters from the series.
So yeah, basically outside of potential rps, this blog might not have regular activity, but it isn’t dead either and potentially to get more content.

And I updated/finished my Guidelines (though just like anything it might be updated if I think of new stuff, but for now it is the final version), as well as added the lore and navi pages!
The blog pages should be considered finished, and I just need to get my butt to write some lore to introduce better Shiro and the canon AU! Don’t hesitate to ask if you want to know anything, and do know there will be some rp interactions too!

Here is Shiro’s full alignment results, because it was more interesting to see them that the shortened version.
Lawful Good ----- XXXXXXXXXXXX (12) Neutral Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (23) Chaotic Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (18) Lawful Neutral -- XXXXXXXXXXX (11) True Neutral ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (22) Chaotic Neutral - XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (17) Lawful Evil ----- XXX (3) Neutral Evil ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXXX (14) Chaotic Evil ---- XXXXXXXXX (9)
I can’t help but notice that his strongest results are Neutral Good and True Neutral, which match with how/who he’s supposed to be (not favoring destruction nor peace, just balance). And then there are his second strong result, which are Chaotic Good and Chaotic Neutral. And just, the “biggest” evil he has is Neutral Evil. He’s a wild/free soul, but his actions are rarely ones considered evil. Again, that just matches so well. Law & Chaos: Law ----- X (1) Neutral - XXXXXXXXXXXX (12) Chaos --- XXXXXXX (7)
Like, compare the above and the below. Chaos is in fact not far from neutral. But good and neutral are very close, and evil is barely there. Bur funnily enough, so is law. Good & Evil: Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXX (11) Neutral - XXXXXXXXXX (10) Evil ---- XX (2)
In short: Shiro is a neutral being that leans toward chaos, but with good in his heart most of the time. And as his writer, I can also say his actions/words will also vary on his appreciation (or dislike) of someone.
#headcanon#(slowly working on pages but who said I couldnt post a small headcanon?)#(well small is one way to put it XD)
