it's my birthday tomorrow so I bought myself a little somethin . . . bathing suit mammon pin my beloved . . . .

the  whole  idea  that  he  doesn't  often  do  performances  himself,  or  rather  do  "  clown  shit  "  makes  me  wonder  about how  he  began  in  Hell  to  begin  with. 

Mammon  most  likely  started  with  performances  and  extravagant  displays !  . . .  buuuut,  it  most  likely  petered  out  after  he  made  it  big,  especially  after  Fizzarolli  came  along  and  he  knew  he  didn't  have  to  do  anything  anymore. ( save  for  show  up  and  host  events  more  or  less  sometimes,  show  up  in  commercials,  etc. ) 

after  all,  now  that  he's  made  it,  what's  the  point  of  bothering  with  it  at all.

by  now  he's  more  of  a  bougie  jester.  most,  if  not  all,  of  his  custom  tailored  outfits  are  clown  themed  in  some  fashion.  sure  he  used  to  juggle  and  play  the  guitar  and  perform,  but  more  and  more  his  performances  valued  quantity  over  quality. 

more  lights,  more  lasers,  more  flashy  showy  " cool  shit "  to  shove  in  your  face  so  you  never  get  bored  !  !  !  don't  think  about  how  much  you  spent,  doesn't  matter,  you  deserve  this,  yeah  !  ?

a majority of that is how he feels as well, occasionally going through his bouts of excess greed at least once a year that make him so stressed he molts. the following symptoms are :

moody / mood swings / high emotions

stress

exhaustion / fatigue

increase appetite

increase in guilt

depression

excessive itching & picking at his molting shell

excessive spending

excessive attempts to make all his money back

commissioning new outfits

commissioning more statues, more construction, more extravagant things, more, more, more ! ! !

Mammon  isn't  against  doing  more  risqué  things  for  money.  if  a  few  snapshots  of  him  in  a  bathing  suit  and  a  nice  pose  will  rake  in  cash  he'll  do  it.  --  especially  if  he  can  sell  if  for  double  the  price  for it being exclusive / special edition. since  he  "  doesn't  even  do  clown  shit  anymore  "  (  usually  )

he doesn't get anything from it and it doesn't mean shit to him, but the idea that he's gonna be making bank off a bunch of suckers does get him absolutely giddy.

despite  this,  he  does  not  do  meet  and  greets  anymore.  he  doesn't  have  the  time  or  patience  for  it,  but  if  you  manage  to  catch  him  at  a  moment  with  a  big  ol'  stack  of  cash  for  a  ' hug '  or  a  picture  he'll  take  it.  but  don't  expect  a  good,  thorough  experience,  he's  just  as  quick  to  slingshot  you  back  into  the  sea  of  people  after  a  half  second  of  physical  contact.  (  & dust  himself  off  afterward  of  course  )

it's  ill  advised  that  you  try  to  pull  off  any  scrap  of  clothing  from  him,  even  a  bell.  after  all,  if  there's  one  thing  he's  particular  about,  it's  his  attire.  he  always  has  to  look  his  fuckin'  best,  yeah  ?

need to draw him more bc I'm cooking on mixing & updating his design to be spider & dragon coded with a sprinkling of goliath from DMC5 and some tiny freckles for the hell of it.

Mammon does in fact have mandibles and a mouth on his stomach -- but he usually keeps it hidden lest it works with his given outfit. ( yes, he is that vain ! )

the  majority  of  the  reason  he  hides  them ( via supernatural abilities )  is  solely  to  fit  his  brand  marketing.  this  has  nothing  to  do  with  his  ego,  however,  and  on  the  days  he  spends  lounging  about  his  lavish  estate  you  will  see  his  mandibles  and  perhaps  a  glimpse  of  his  stomach  mouth  !

& for those wondering, yes, he does have the fuzzy spider pads !

HEADCANONS 01. . . . ( ITZY & BITZY ! )

The two robotic-fizzies that Mammon has with him at the clown-pageant are named Itzy and Bitzy.

Mammon also owns several toy-botic replicas to do all the work at his massive sprawling estate. From cooking, to cleaning, to construction they handle it all AND he doesn't have to pay 'em!

His estate is also in a constant state of remodeling or adding on rooms - replacing giant statues / effigies to his gratuitous wealth and image with better ones, adding on rooms, it's nonstop.

Because while he HATES spending money, he HATES the nagging desperation for more the absolute MOST.
