You want to punch something but you can't. You can only sit in the void, tearing up, losing it more and more, the voices screaming at you

Stella and white feminism (no pun intended)

There’s an aspect of Stella’s character that I haven’t ever posted about but it’s kinda been on my mind for a while. One, I don’t know how people are gonna take it, and two, I’m not sure if Vivziepop even intended this because uhh her writing for in-depth fem characters is…spotty.

Stella reminds me a lot of pickme/white feminism.

“Mod, why are you bringing race and misogyny into my silly demon show” hear me out.

White women CAN (CAN, not all of them and not all the time, ok? So don’t come for me) be very guilty of advocating for themselves and then either accidentally neglecting or intentionally not advocating for women of color. Sometimes they’ll even pick a side and back up their white boi oppressors rather then helping or siding with WOC. Now this doesn’t make said white women any less victims who deserve empathy sure, (coming from a white and Latina mixed girl) but it’s definitely too big of a problem to be ignored.

Who does this remind me of? Stella. Stella is angry that she’s been belittled, abused and reduced to her reproductive organs her entire life. By her male Goetic counterparts. By other people in power who are higher than her. Who does she take that aggression out on? Not the Goetias that put her in this shit position to begin with. She takes out on little guys who are lower than her, imps and lower classes in general who did nothing to her. Who does she side with and suck up to? Well, Andrealphus—and other Goetias likely share his shitty sentiments. You see what I’m tryna say here?

Ok let me stop because I promise I’d keep this brief and this post is already getting long.

The king sat close to his desk, grumbling from the sheer amount of paperwork in front of him. Throwing his head back, Lucifer kicked the table in irritation. “Ughhh! Sataaannn! Do I really need to do these!? They’re so, so boring!”

The other Deadly Sin in front of him lifted an eyelid up before leaning close to his leader. “Maybe if you remembered the duties you yourself chose to do, then you wouldn’t be WHINING ALL THE TIME!”

Lucifer gasped. “Hey! Keep your temper in check, you’re gonna melt my possesions!”

“THAT’S IT! YOU THERE! IMP! MAKE SURE THE KING DOES HIS WORK WHILE I’M GONE! MY PATIENCE HAS BEEN TESTED FAR TOO MUCH, AND I NEED TO RIP ANOTHER SINNER’S INTESTINES OUT OF HIS BODY!” Satan angrily stomped his way out of the area, his footsteps causing some of his fellow Sin’s toys to drop down to the floor.

“Geez, talk about a temper tantrum. Right, imp boy?” Lucifer shifted his gaze over to the now-quivering servant. “Bah, forget I even asked.”

A few minutes has passed, and the Embodiment of Pride still hasn’t done anything productive, other than playing with a rubber duck, which, he will admit, wasn’t productive at all, but it wasn’t like the imp would snitch.

Wait.

The imp won’t snitch, will he?

After coming into the realization of his, the fallen angel couldn’t help but have a Cheshire grin form upon his face.

“Hey, imp boy!”

The servant jumps in response. Lucifer held back a laugh at how pathetic the demon looked.

“Do yourself a favor and grab a drink for yourself, would ya? No need to worry about anything; it’s allll in the house!”

The servant’s eyes darted everywhere. “A-Are you sure, Your Majesty?”

“Of course, I am! You deserve it after enduring that big, giant, grumpy grumble pants’ company!” He stomped his foot just remembering how his general was.

“O-Okay then…” the imp quietly said. The first few steps he took were hesitant, but after those, he immediately dashed out of the room like his life depended on it.

“Mhm!” Lucifer twirled his cane in his hands. “You deserve alllll the drinks in the world!” With a final tap to the floor, the cane glowed as it was readied for mischief. “‘Cause Satan is sure to be disappointed in what I’m about to do next!”
