Tulip: Has traits from both her parents but she's more of her own person than a carbon copy of either.

Blue Veronica: Might have one or two traits but she's so drastically different from her parents they're easy to overlook.

Sunflower: Like Blue Veronica, she's so drastically different from both of her parents that you can barely notice the traits she does have personality wise.

Kelemon: She has plenty personality traits from all three of her parental figures.

Gronosis: He takes after Kay more than Fabiana but he has several of her interests.

Garanwyn: He takes more after Fabiana than Kay but he has his father's mouth (aka when he gets mad, you can hear him talking shit from the isle).

13. How does their relationships look with their parents?

Twinkle: Twinkle gets along with both of her parents and arguably appreciates them a lot more than her siblings do because she's the only who's gone without parents before.

Kelemon: Total daddy's girl.

Gets along well with Fabiana.

Wishes she could remember her birth mother

Gronosis: Gets along better with his mom than his dad.

Butts heads with his dad a lot because of their similar personalities but they're still close.

His teenage years are going to be HELL on earth, though.

Gwaine surprisingly didn't have any named daughters I could find in Arthurian mythology so I had to pick one.

I picked it off a medieval list.

For the Luryder kids

Why I picked those names:

Amada Honeymaren Nattura Madrigal: I chose Amada because it was a name from a partial script/concept art that was posted by one of the creators of Encanto on Twitter.

Plus I liked the name and it seemed to fit the little character I choose from the concept art nicely.

I chose Homerymaren because Ryder is close to his sister and it seemed like a decent middle name choice.

Belinda Petra Nattura Madrigal: I chose Belinda because I liked the name, it's pronunciation, and the meanings I found attached to it.

"Bright Serpent" or "Bright Linden Tree" in Old High German & "Pretty One" in Spanish.

I chose Petra because it means "rock" & "stone", which I thought tied her nicely to Luisa.

Emilia Lydia Nattura Madrigal: I chose Emilia because it was an unused name from the concept art that I liked and figured I could utilize easily enough.

I chose Lydia because I found the name in an early article about Encanto, when it was being used as a filler/concept name for Luisa.

I thought it'd be a nice nod to it.

Laurencio 'Luis' Agustín Nattura Madrigal: I chose Laurencio because I refused to believe Luis was his actual legal god given name that Luisa chose for him.

I chose that name because I liked the sound/pronunciation of it and was told that it had connotations of strength and honor.

A strong lovely first name for a strong lovely boy.

I made Luis a nickname for him, because I thought it'd be cute if it was a nickname he'd chosen rather than one forced upon him/his actual name. It's a symbol of how much he loves his mom.

I chose Agustín for a middle name because I am a firm believer in Luisa being a daddy's girl and that she'd want to honor her father that way (while not giving him it as a first name, because again, she wants his name to be his own).

Silvia Julieta Nattura Madrigal: I chose the name Silvia because 1. I like the name and how it sounds & 2. because I liked the meaning.

Silvia means "from the woods", which felt fitting given who her father is and where he came from.

I chose Julieta because, again, Luisa loves her parents and would want to honor them by naming her children after them as a middle name.

Tito Krsitoff Nattura Madrigal: I chose Tito because it's an unused name from the concept art that I liked and no one ever seemed to utilize.

I chose Kristoff because he's Ryder's best friend and it seemed like a decent middle name choice for his and Luisa's oldest son.

Why Ryder and Luisa picked this names:

Amada Honeymaren Nattura Madrigal: Amada means "beloved".

Both Ryder and Luisa liked the meaning, so they chose the name.

Belinda Petra Nattura Madrigal: Luisa chose Belinda because it meant "Pretty One" and she wanted her daughter to feel beautiful.

Ryder chose the name Petra because it means "Rock" & "Stone", and he wanted his daughter to feel like she was strong even if it wasn't physical strength.

Emilia Lydia Nattura Madrigal: Emilia means "to excel".

Ryder suggested it because he thought it was a neat name and because they both wanted their daughter to excel in life when it came to what made her happy.

Lyda means "Beautiful/Noble One".

Both Luisa and Ryder thought it'd be a fitting name for their little girl.

Laurencio 'Luis' Agustín Nattura Madrigal: Luisa chose the name Laurencio because she liked the sound, spelling, and meaning of the name as well as the connotations attached.

Luis chose the nickname Luis because it's close to his mom's name and he loves his mom, and admires her quiet kindness, work ethic, and strength.

Luisa and Ryder chose the name 'Agustín' because they wanted to honor Luisa's father, who they're both very close to.

Silvia Julieta Nattura Madrigal: Silvia means "from the woods" or "spirit of the wood."

It reminded Ryder of home & it was a connection he wanted his daughter to have, even if she might not care about such a thing later on.

Tito Krsitoff Nattura Madrigal: Tito means "honorable," "title of honor," or "giant."

Ryder chose the name as a joke, because Tito was a very big baby, and it ended up sticking.

Alexander's been told that he looks like Sienna by people who don't know he's adopted.

Sienna tried to nurture Alexander's thirst for knowledge the best she could.

Given the fact they were upper middle class made this much more manageable.

Sienna didn't want to send him to Auradon Prep: she didn't want to let him out of her sight when she got him back from Pleasure Island.

The idea of sending him to Auradon Prep with LAMPWICK of all people stressed her out and it took a lot of pleading on Alexander's part to get her to agree.

Sienna loves her daughter-in-law, Princess Eilonwy, and was thrilled when Alexander told her they were getting married.

Sienna spoils her grandchildren. Scarlet especially.

Sienna and Lampwick's mother, Carina, do not get along at all.

HC For Tulip and all 5 of her Ride or Die Besties ( Ligera , Pin , Eleanor, Fuega and Evenstar )?

Tulip, Fuega, and Ligera pretended to be triplets when they were little.

Ligera and Fuega rarely ever plan the pranks: they rather enjoy sitting back and watching the others' work.

Evenstar never plans the group pranks because he's much better at planning things by himself. He usually just points out flaws in the plans the others create, you know when he feels like it anyways.

Pin and Eleanor, the two nerdiest members of the group, are the ones the others throw at teachers whenever they need a distraction or a believable fibber. Most teachers/adults always believe the two most 'Auradon' looking kids.

No one ever believes that Eleanor is involved anything (other than her parents, of course).

Pin, Eleanor, and Fuega handle the science-y and logistics part of the pranks.

Ligera does damage control.

Pranks Pin and Tulip do by themselves tend to go wrong.

Tulip and Evenstar's pranks are terrifying when no one is there to buffer the two,

Eleanor, Ligera, and Tulip's pranks tend to be the most well thought out and they tend to get away with them.

Fuega's pranks tend to be the nicest, unless you've seriously pissed her off/overstepped.

Pin and Evenstar are not allowed to pull pranks together, under any circumstances: this is because their friends are worried that they might actually kill/seriously injure someone because the two of them tend to get carried away (and they don't always have the best reference for what humans can withstand).

They're also not allowed to pull pranks together because Pin and Evenstar pranked MAL and brought hell upon the rest of the group when they did.

Mal was able to prank Tulip and Evenstar. They don't even GO to Auradon Prep!

After Eleanor, Blue Veronica, Tulip, and Ligera form the Donkey-ettes the group's pranks lessen due to the group not wanting bad publicity and due to their now limited time.

Tulip and Pin are banned from pulling pranks together after the Donkey Dorm incident of '61.

They have friendship bracelets.

Pin, Eleanor, and Evenstar don't wear them.

They have sleepovers at Tulip's house often.

They also have sleepovers in each other's dorm rooms.

They know where each other's pranking and snack stashes are and where each of them keep their notes.

The six of them like watching romcoms, reality tv, and soap operas together and make fun of them (or get REALLY into them, depending on the day).

When Lampwick was little, Carina tried to read him a story until he fell asleep when she could.

Carina always tried her best to let Lampwick know that she didn't blame him for how poorly their life was going and to show that she loved him and didn't regret a thing.

Sometimes Lampwick was the only person who could make Carina smile, when he was young.

Carina is a mama bear. No one can talk badly about her son (or her other children for that matter) and get away with it.

She learned to cook for Lampwick, despite not enjoying it, because she believed that having a mother who could cook was the least he deserved.

She used to call him her little Wick when he was little.

Carina is one of the only people allowed to call him Romeo.

Carina was nervous to let Lampwick go to Auradon Prep but eventually related because she thought it'd be good for him.

She's proud of the man he's grown up to be.

She became very protective of him when he came back from Pleasure Island and was very relieved that there was no lasting physical damage.

6. Do they have healthy coping mechanisms? If so, what are they?

Erica Triggs: Erica has what Melinoë calls a 'Problem-Focused Coping Style'.

She attempts to deescalate work stress by identifying them, evaluating, looking for solutions, and taking a course of action that will best fix the situation.

She also tries to practice gratitude, prioritize self-care when she can, and appreciate the small things in life.

She draws. She sings. She spends time with the ones she love.

It's difficult in the zombie apocalypse, especially when one is a leader that people look to but one has to do what they can.

Hannah Hook: Hannah has a mix between a 'Problem-Focused Coping Style' and a 'Social Coping Style'.

She tries to identify the problem, think on it, and find a solution and will likely ask her friends on what they think on the matter before moving on to what she thinks is the best course of action.

She also tries to pour out her feelings via creative expression (like drawing and writing) when she can't find it in her to vocalize it.

Johanna Everstone: When Johanna was a new young immortal she took on a 'Meaning-Focused Coping Style'.

She tried to look for meaning in what happened to her.

Tried to find meaning in her faith being used and turned against her for god-given abilities.

As she grew older, she took up 'Problem-Focused Coping Style' and 'Emotion-Focused Coping Style' as well and mixed the three together.

Johanna looked for meaning in her death and resurrection. Took up problems to solve and did her best to change her outlook on things even if she wasn't always successful.

She looked at the beauty in life and the new opportunities that were now at her disposal in a way that they never would have been otherwise and threw herself into the mix head first.

Sofia Madrigal Prepon: Sofia took on an 'Emotion-Focused Coping Style' to deal with her trauma.

She started trying to reduce the strongness of the emotions tied to the trauma while still addressing the root of the issues, and tried to change the way she viewed those things.

Sofia also threw herself into her passions to try and cope with the strong feelings of otherness.

She threw herself into her art. She studied her special interests more often and applied them to her emotions.

She got better at sewing and her other crafts and she found a kindred spirit in Diego.

Sofia made the best out of a bad situation.

Rowena Jones: I don't think any of her mechanisms can be considered healthy in the slightest and saying she's coping is a stretch.

7. Have they any unhealthy ways of thinking or talking about the trauma in question?

Erica Triggs: Erica has said and thought "it is what it is" on more than one occasion when it came to her childhood.

She tries not to be overly emotional about the things she's experienced.

Erica doesn't like to think about her mother or how addiction changed her. She doesn't like talking about how her mother treated her vs. her siblings.

She doesn't like leaning towards too positive or too negative when it comes to her trauma and just tries to deal with it because that's all she can really do.

Her mother's dead. She can't confront her on how she fucked her up.

Her dad's dead. She can't tell him that she knows he tried but that he fucked her too, because he didn't know how to raise her and deal with her disability.

Erica can't confront them. She can't thank her dad for preparing her for doomsday or ask her mom why she didn't love her.

She can't do anything about Moth.

Moth's dead.

Their romance short-lived.

The betrayal tainting the few memories she has.

Erica was mad and hurt with Moth still when the other girl died, and she said she forgave her but Erica doesn't know if she really did.

Erica doesn't like thinking about the blood on her hands. The things she did unintentionally and the things she and her friends were forced to do.

Her life is full of trauma and she just wants to look at the facts, even as a very emotional person.

Her mom used to love her.

Her dad loved her till he died.

Moth betrayed her but loved her and made up for it in the end.

And Erica is still alive to fight another day for what's left of her world.

Hannah Hook: Hannah is causal when talking about her trauma unless she's weaponizing it against the heroes.

She'll talk about the most horrifying things in a bored tone or laughing as if it's a funny story one moment and be using it against the heroes to keep in line the next.

Hannah's way of thinking is basically 'it doesn't matter until I can use it' because if she doesn't, and focuses on it for too long she'll start to panic and overthink things and see similarities to current events that aren't there.

Johanna Everstone: Johanna died.

She thinks about it often and wonders if she deserved it even though logically she knows she doesn't.

Johanna was 12 when she died.

Johanna was twelve years old when she was ripped out of her bed on the orders of her mother and hanged as everyone she had ever known, with the exception of her nanny, stood by and watched.

She remembers how she begged. The looks of disgust and indifference and anger she had come accustomed to due to being more different than any of them would ever know.

She remembers how her nanny screamed and pleaded for her, even if her nanny's accent is now fuzzy in her mind.

"She's just a child, let her go! She never hurt nobody!"

Johanna remembers pain, pain, pain.

Johanna remembers too much and too little at the same time, and wonders if she deserved the pain she was given before she was ever really a witch.

She thinks about it more than she should.

And she wonders. Had she been in her mother's shoes, would she have been able to accuse her own child (or any child) of using witchcraft to harm her?

(Johanna knows the answer whenever she looks at her brother's descendants or the children she took under her wing.

She wouldn't have been able to do it).

Sofia Madrigal Prepon: Sofia doesn't talk about the trauma often and the one time she did she used the exact wording of "my own mother thought I was a monster."

Definitely unhealthy.

Rowena Jones: Rowena is always super causal when she talks about her trauma and tends to turn it into a joke. That is when she isn't suppressing it to the point that her memory is full of holes.

12. Do they ever blame themselves for any part of what happened?

Erica Triggs: Erica doesn't blame herself for how she was treated before the apocalypse.

Her mother wasn't well. Neither of her parents (or her extended relatives for that matter) knew how to raise such a difficult (and not neruotypical) child.

Things were tough.

They were both going through tough times and it wasn't her fault.

She was just an unwilling bystander in the mess.

But she does blame herself for a lot of what happened after.

Moth's death. Her friends' deaths. The people she's hurt and killed.

Erica has regrets and wishes she had thought certain things through more than she did. But hindsight is 20/20 and there's not much she can do about it now.

Hannah Hook: The Isle is cruel.

Hannah Hook knows this.

She rarely ever blames herself for the trauma that's wreaked havoc on her life.

But sometimes, it's unavoidable. Like when the ones she loves are involved.

Johanna Everstone: Yes,

Like it or not, Johanna has always been different and she's always known it.

She tried to change but couldn't. So eventually she stopped trying.

And that's what led to her death.

Johanna stopped caring about being different and tried to be herself. UN-apologetically weird, wild, and creative.

It painted a target on her back that she didn't even know was there until it was too late.

Her mother thought she was unnatural and unable to accept that sometimes bad things just happen to you A LOT, and Johanna was easy to blame. She pushed her mother's buttons. She asked questions.

She took interests in things that young ladies shouldn't and she stopped trying to please her mother.

They started fighting, before the tragedy struck, you know?

Her dad got ill, one of her brothers got attacked when trying to scavenge for herbs, and her mother lost what was to be her youngest sibling. And Johanna didn't cope well.

And her mother coped badly in turn.

Johanna sometimes thinks that she should have tried harder to please her mother.

But knowing what she knows now?

Knowing that she had magic in her the whole time and that she's neurodivergent, not entirely straight, and traumatized?

She knows it wouldn't have worked.

(But there's still that part of her, the self-internalized ableism and self-hatred the witch trials left her with that says if she had been born like her mother, things would have been different).

Sofia Madrigal Prepon: Yes.

She thinks if she hadn't been so morbid as a child then she would have gotten a different gift and her mother wouldn't have left her.

Rowena Jones: She blames herself for Eilonwy's death.

She should have clocked the Horned King as dangerous, like Kiran did.

She blames herself for Warren being ripped away from her afterwards and she blames herself for Aris stabbing her because she thinks she should have known better.

But she no longer blames herself for her father abandoning her because she knows he's just a magic hating bigot who's own is bullshit.

got any Fabiana being an older sister figure for Lampwick , Pinocchio , Bella and Wart/Arthur ??

Fabiana taught Lampwick, Pinocchio, Wart, and their other male friends (including a teenage Coach Jenkins) how to dance for Castlecoming because none of them were very good at it/knew how.

She taught Bella some minor self defense just in case the younger girl were to get in a scrape.

When Kay's clumsy advice failed regarding Hazel/Guinevere, Fabiana stepped in and gave Arthur/Wart some feedback.

Fabiana taught Lampwick how to tie a tie (Geppetto doesn't know how).

1. What would your OC say is their biggest trauma?

Sabina: Face Planting off stage and into a bat of gruel at Ursula's Fish & Chip in front of everyone during a performance.

Drina: A bigger Isle Kid trying to ride her like a horse (she's a centuar) without asking.

Lazarus: When he was four, some neighborhood kids locked him in his dad's puppet theatre storage closet. The room has red fairy flashing lights and a ton of old, creepy, vintage puppets.

He was trapped in there for 15 minutes.

Aldo (Their Cousin): Finding out he was related to THAT Stromboli (i.e his uncle) was pretty traumatizing, ngl.

2. What actually is your OC's biggest trauma?

Sabina: Her grandfather and grandmother trying to set up an arranged marriage for her without telling her and taking her to meet the person they wanted her to marry.

(Thankfully for her, Lazarus told Drina who told Aldo and they burst into the place with baseball bats. Which killed the arranged marriage talk before it could go any further.

Mangiafuoco, Zekorra, and Vito were not pleased in the slightest at this).

Drina: A bigger Isle Kid trying to ride her like a horse (she's a centuar) without asking.

The kid was not gentle at all.

She's not joking.

She's 100% serious about that.

Lazarus: Each and every one of Hadie's poorly thought out evil plots that all of their friends' inevitably get dragged into as his 'goons'.

Aldo (Their Cousin): Meeting his grandfather.

They met once and only once.

Both Mangiafuoco and Vito made sure of that.

12. Do they ever blame themselves for any part of what happened?

Sabina: Sabina does somewhat blame herself for what happened.

She blames herself for losing her balance.

And she blames herself for not being more suspicious of her grandparents' motives.

Drina: No.

She knows it wasn't her fault in the slightest.

She said no: that person should have listened but they didn't and they learned their lesson when her parents found out.

Lazarus: Yes.

He blames himself for continuing to listen to Hadie's reckless plans and he blames himself for listening to those neighborhood kids when he was four.

Aldo (Their Cousin): No.

14. Are there triggers your OC avoids because of the trauma?

Sabina: She avoids surprises the best she can after what her grandparents' pulled.

Drina: She doesn't like when people sneak up on her or get too close to her horse half.

Lazarus: Puppets.

Red lights.

Aldo (Their Cousin): He avoids talking about certain aspects of his family.
