So demon Genya in my head at last has to eat the entire demon to gain their abilities permanently kinda like Kokushibo does and maybe over time he'll be able to absorb demons and people like Kokushibo

If Genya was turned into a demon, do you think he could still eat demons to gain power?

Would it be permanent then or still temporary?

Or maybe to add another twist, he'd only be able to eat other demons and eating humans wouldn't do anything for him
