For your prompt request, could you do something for Charlie x Velvette pre Vaggie's fall? I just love the idea of Velvette somehow seeing Charlie go full demon mode and being like "oh damn she's hot. I could make her worse :3" and Charlie thinking the inverse of Velvette. Who knows who would succeed, but i could totally see reluctantly slightly redeemed Vel butting heads with Alastor during Hotel shenanigans and being Charlie's biggest defender alongside Vaggie. Cause Charlie would 100% still bring back injured Vaggie like a sad abandoned kitten XD. Or maybe go the obsessive ex route, then all three V's would be Super Weird about someone in the hotel lol

The music hit like a pulse, the bass heavy, and synthetic, the atmosphere laced with laughter that wasn’t quite...friendly to the ears.

Charlie stood awkwardly in the corner of the nightclub, tugging at the sleeves of her suit jacket. This wasn’t her kind of place at all, but she’d been whisked away here by Angel Dust after a long night of “networking.”

Or at least, that was Angel Dust’s version of networking.

Charlie wasn’t sure what she expected when she agreed. Well, it was certainly not...this.

Neon-pink lights that almost blinded her whenshe first stepped in, dreamily painted the smoke-filled air, the dancers writhed on raised the platforms, and everything heavily smelled of perfume, liquor, and something faintly metallic, like blood.

Charlie’s nerves prickled. Her nerves were already starting to tightened.

She wasn’t supposed to be here, well, it's not really one of her areas to be in. She really wished she could slap her past self for agreeing.

Charlie sighed.

But then her gaze landed on the woman at the center of it all.

Velvette.

She was radiant in her own brand of danger—phone in hand, sharp smile plastered across her face as if she owned every inch of the place. Oh, she probably does own the place.

Velvette practically glowed under the flashing neon lights, strutting through the crowd like a model on a runway. Charlie wasn't new to the rising social media Overlord, no. She has seen Velvette in various platforms always on trending.

Velvette's eyes caught Charlie’s, and the corner of her mouth curled up.

“Aww, no, fuckin', way,” Velvette purred as she sauntered closer. “Princess Charlie, slumming it in my part of town? Big Daddy loosened the leash?”

Charlie stiffened at the proximiy but forced herself to stand straighter. “Well, I… I came with a friend,” she said, voice small but steady.

Velvette circled her like a shark smelling blood, her high heels clicking on the tiled floor. “Cute. You look about as comfortable as a lamb in a wolf den.” She tilted her head, eyeing her from head to toe. “Guess what, sweetheart? I like lambs the most.”

Charlie’s cheeks warmed.

Something about Velvette’s gaze felt oddly invasive, like she could peel away every layer of uncertainty and pin Charlie down.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” Charlie asked, voice shaking.

Velvette’s smile widened. “Ah, maube it's because I saw it.”

Charlie blinked. “Saw what?”

“That little flare in your eyes. That tiny slip of fire when you walked in and didn’t like what you saw.” Velvette leaned close, lips brushing Charlie’s ear. “Oh damn… you’re hot when you’re pissed. Somehow i want to make you worse.”

Charlie’s breath caught, and for once, she did slip out. Her golden flames crackled along her fingertips, golden and untamed, making the shadows around them flicker.

A couple of demons nearby noticing the commotion turned to watch, whispering.

But Charlie didn’t shrink back. She stood her ground, fire still simmering in her palms. “Please don't come so close.”

The words came out sharper than she expected, strong and cutting through the smoke like a blade.

Velvette actually stopped, surprise flashing across her perfectly lined face before melting back into amusement.

“Oooh,” Velvette drawled, placing a hand dramatically on her chest. “Little miss sunshine’s got bite.”

“I was just warning you,” Charlie said, voice shaking again, but this time with resolve, not fear.

Velvette tilted her head. “Your little sparks are just interesting, Oh, And sparks can burn real bright, real quick… if you fan them the right way.” She smirked. “Or the wrong way.”

Charlie’s flames flared higher, just enough to make the nearest table rattle. Her hair lifted slightly in the heat, her eyes glowing molten gold.

The club fell quiet around them as more demons noticed, sensing something dangerous in the air.

Velvette only grinned wider. She wasn’t afraid. In fact, she leaned in until the heat of Charlie’s fire licked at her cheek. “God, I could ruin you.”

Charlie swallowed hard, the words leaving her mouth before she thought them through. “I can save you.”

The silence between them buzzed, louder than the bass that suddenly seemed far away. Two forces locked, temptation and redemption, corruption and hope, neither willing to step back.

Finally, Velvette laughed, low and throaty, breaking the tension. “Careful, princess. Talk like that makes me want to stick around.”

Charlie’s flames dimmed, embarrassment creeping in as she realized how many eyes were now on them. She shifted awkwardly, clutching her hands together to smother the glow.

Velvette winked. “Relax. I won’t tell Daddy you’re playing with fire.” Then, with one last lingering look, she strutted back into the crowd, leaving Charlie’s heart hammering in her chest.

Angel Dust appeared at her side a moment later, sipping from a martini glass with a sly grin. “Y’know, babe, I leave you alone for five minutes and you’re already flirting with the shark queen.”

Charlie’s face went red. “I-I wasn’t—!”

Angel just chuckled, looping an arm around her shoulders. “Don’t worry. She’s only half as bad as she looks. Which, trust me, is saying a lot.”

But Charlie barely heard him. Her thoughts were still spinning with the heat of Velvette’s words, and her own, bold and reckless, echoing back at her.

And she was just so sure. She's never going clubbing again.
