So, I "played" Nightreign yesterday, and here's what I thought:
Elden Ring Nightreign is good, if you're lucky enough to get into a match. I kid you not, for over 3 hours, I couldn't find a single goddamn match, meaning I couldn't even play the fucking game for over 3 hours. A note to be added is that I play on the PS4 and there have been known issues of Playstation players not being able to find matches. However, Fromsoftware has stated that it has been fixed, so why the fuck am I still having trouble finding a match?
Fortunately, one of my US friends invited me to play and she's on the PS5. So, I don't know if this means it's only a PS4 problem. I've turned on cross-region matchmaking and found nothing, so I turned it off and still nothing. Is nobody in my region playing the game?! That's absolutely crazy though, but very much plausible.
I truly hope Fromsoftware looks into this PS4 situation and fixes it quick. It is truly a shame that this issue's in the game. A matchmaking problem in a multiplayer game is unacceptable. For now, I'll keep playing with my friend, but I really hope they fix this so I can play whenever. It's not the same playing solo.
