I don’t think people understand how powerful prayer can be. I just watched a movie called “War Rooms” & its kind of a cringy movie, but it’s based off the verse

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer is so so so important in your relationship with God, and he is always listening, prayer is so beyond important to include God into your life. even taking 5-10 minutes in the morning to say something, doing whatever; waking up, brushing your teeth, eating, driving etc. or before you go to bed.

In the movie; there’s a lady & her name is Elizabeth; she’s a realtor. And she is selling an older lady’s house. That old lady has a ‘war room’ aka a prayer room type, she fought all her battles in there. Elizabeth wasn’t having a good relationship with her husband & she finally gave it to God and it eventually got better, and it spread to her daughter & her husband. Having a relationship with God can be contagious as well, but in every good way.

A PRAYER FOR GODS PROMISES

God, I am holding tightly to my hope in you. I trust that you are faithful and I believe that you will always fulfill your promises. Thank you for promising to bring justice to unjust situations. Thank you for promising to fulfill your plans for my life. Thank you for promising to return to your people. You are faithful, Lord—and I will trust you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He made us promises that he’s going to fulfill in your life. 💜

God, when I am overwhelmed by the brokenness I see, help me to remember that you see me. You are in control. I might not be able to stop all the pain and injustice I witness, but I can help overcome evil by doing good. Please help me to do that. Give me the courage and humility to love people well today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He sees all your hurt, and he will bring you peace, you may not be able to control everyone but you can control yourself and your relationship with God. 💜
