In a monumental discovery for paleontology and the first of its kind "Mummy of a juvenile sabre-toothed cat Homotherium latidens from the Upper Pleistocene of Siberia"

Abstract The frozen mummy of the large felid cub was found in the Upper Pleistocene permafrost on the Badyarikha River (Indigirka River basin) in the northeast of Yakutia, Russia. The study of the specimen appearance showed its significant differences from a modern lion cub of similar age (three weeks) in the unusual shape of the muzzle with a large mouth opening and small ears, the very massive neck region, the elongated forelimbs, and the dark coat color. Tomographic analysis of the mummy skull revealed the features characteristic of Machairodontinae and of the genus Homotherium. For the first time in the history of paleontology, the appearance of an extinct mammal that has no analogues in the modern fauna has been studied. Devil Dinosaur (Steampunk AU)

Yeeees, this definitely had to happen. I had hundreds of Ark Tek dinosaur sketches, especially my Tek-Rex, and also various steampunk dinosaur designs; It was only a matter of time before I painted Devil like that.

I'll try to develop this AU further, but I tend to have a hard time drawing humans, so I won't promise anything for now.

🌙 Moon Girl Magic! ✨

I don't usually make posts like this, but I need, we need, more people to see this series. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is an incredible series with a lot of potential, but it doesn't get as much attention as it deserves.

I'm not good at promoting things or talking about series or anything like that, but the user @lovejapan55 has been doing a lot of his part, here's his message.

I find it very sad that for a fandom that I join because I really like it, not to follow trends, I find it with so few people. But we can get more fans and more people to watch the series and support it if we work together.

I've realized that many times people start watching a series because they saw cool fanart of it. That is what we need. Moon Girl has really good fanarts, of quality, but not much quantity compared to other series of this style, maybe if those of us who are not such good artists lose our fear and do our part, anything, a short fanfic, some sketches, a playlist,… maybe we can encourage more people to watch the series and we can get some more seasons.

Christmas Tree

Just Mo Octavius preparing for Christmas. Extra hand, extra fast decorating the tree. In addition, she didn't need stairs.

Headcanon:

- "In the ciry where she live they said, that she loved Christmas because she have three size biguer the heart."

- Even she love decorations and Christmas sweets, she is more the kind of traditional Christmas, centered in family, peace and love, more than capitalism and large shopping centers.

- Out of joking, she actually had three hearts, and she really love Christmas since she can remember. Christmas is the most important time in the year for her family.

- Were she live, never snow, but every house and street is decorated and you can find people making snowmen with sand in the beach.

- Her tentacles love to help her to decorate, sometimes they accidentally break some ornament, but Mo doesn't mind to much.

- She speaks Spanish, that's why the carol is in Spanish.

- Where she lives there is a custom of putting up a tree and celebrating Christmas, but also of celebrating Three Kings Day, and the Three Wise Men bring gifts to the children.
