It'd probably be hard because the nurses and doctors pretty much know where everything is supposed to be and they'd probably see if something was there that wasn't supposed to be, but there's always under a cushion or furniture or something... although idk if you have to hide it, they'd probably let you have it in there

Unless you're trying to hide it in someone else's hospital room for them to find, in which case the nurses will probably help you hide it ngl

This is gonna be a WEIRD question but is anyone following me an expert of hospital room layouts. particularly if it would be possible to hide a hospital room in there.

Rachel knew she had met some demigods thst spoke english fluently. She'd heard Annabeth make a few mistakes in english. But her frist language was ancient greek thst made sense.

It had been days since she had hesrd anything resmebling a language from the modern era.

She was learning ancient greek.

She had been suprised ehen Annabeth had agreed to help her.

"I know what it feels like to not be able to ubdersrand the people around you" was the only explanation she had gotten. She had quickly lesdned not to pry into Annabeth's life before camp.

"Okay, so how many people speak english?" She asked one of the kids she had met. Connor said maybe ten to twenty percent . She wasnt sure when he had done the the math. Bur she decided her best plan was ro stick to ancient greek and hope they ubderstood.

She really eished annabeth had told her hoe to ask someone to slow down. All she had learned was to ask someone to talk faster. She couodnt imagine thst being neccesary with how qucikly ancient greek seem to fly out of demigods mouths.

She was learning. But it was hard. She was sat in the infimwry. The medic calling out orders to an empty room.

"Who are you talking to?" She asked in incredy broken ancient greek.

He blinked. "You do know i spewk english?"

"Finally!" Rachel had someone she could understand. "So few peoppe here do."

The mefic laughed, hiding his mouth as he did it. "Most of us do, annbeth didnt speak much when she was seven but that was..." he traikedkff. "Foget i said that. Shes actually a little sensitive about that one."

"I noticed." Rachel told him. All while thinking he probably shouodnt hsve been spilling his friends business all over the infirmary floor.

"Some kid told me mlt didnt, connor i think?"

"And you believed him?"

"Should i not?"

"No! Connor spends all his time on pranks..mostly harmless..did have an incident with a spider and the athena kids once. Not great."

"Youre bad at keeping secrets, arent you?" She asked the medic.

"No." He told her. "Just making conversation."

"Im rachel, the.."

"New oracle. I know. Theres no way annabeth eoukd go nesr a mortal otherwise."

"Okay, is that her problem with me? Im the wrong species?"

"Pretty much. Will. Head medic."

"I'll get her to like me."

Will nodded. "Just dont ask connor for help."
