I really hope that Sylvie won’t be Loki’s love interest. Like yeah, it makes sense, but I think it would just be soooo much better if we saw more of a playful sibling rivalry between them. Since he already saw how he and Thor end up, I want to see him try to make up for that with Sylvie and be the brother he never got to be in reality.

LOVE VICTOR SEASON TWO THOUGHTS

*spoilers*

Overall, I thought this season was messier, more adult, and just better than the first. Emphasis on the messier. I was pretty surprised that they dealt with so many mature topics, some maybe not as well as others. Anybody who thinks that victor is better if with rahim than benji is wrong. I also think that the writers also know that. Benji is such an interesting character, and the alcoholism aspect adds so much more depth and I wanted them to explore that but instead we got some haphazard apology for them not understanding each other. Benji is not toxic, some of yall really just learn a word and run with it. Hes just a teenager, and he’s imperfect. His relationship with Victor is imperfect. I want to see them work through their issues, not abandon them the moment things get complicated. I think it would be really interesting if they talked about the cultural divide between POC and white gays. (Side note: I also didn’t like the way Benjis actor delivered the “what does it matter that I’m white” or whatever line. That made it seem like he felt personally offended, and it made his character less likeable).

I dont know why they made Rahim a love interest at all. We could’ve gotten a queer POC friendship but instead we got an awkward love triangle nobody wants to watch. He suffers from horrible dialogue, but he’s still interesting. I hope the writers don’t throw him aside in S3.

I had hoped Pilar would’ve been gay, but fine, Felix is fine. Their relationship was super rushed, but fine, whatever. I also liked the mom subplot a lot, though it was handled a bit strangely. I hope Lake is happy, and that means happy NOT WITH FELIX. Maybe not Lucy either, though, I thought she was meh. I liked andrews development as well.

Also, Mia deserves better. 💕
