I know the asker knows, but for others…

Nyctophobia is the intense fear of the night and darkness.

Autophobia is the intense fear of being alone and isolated. 

Admittedly, if you were expressive with your fears (ex. screaming), they view it as an expression of joy, so that would not help you at all. Crying is tears of joy as well, so… However, if you were silent and simply gave simple cues to let them all, they would also not understand. You would have to tell them that…

And they still do not get it. 

You do not like their home? They promise it's not scary once you get used to it, despite the fact that they were never scared of it to begin with. They would move things around, yet everything is still so dark… Once you mention that they make a special exception to light just for you. You are allowed to have a small light on your wrist, or another part of your body, so that no room is purely dark. It irritates them, yet anything for you.

For isolation and being alone, they reassure you that they are ALWAYS there… Take that as you will I suppose. However, if you asked for a pet they would actually allow it, yet you would have to explain how they have to be cared for. Said pet would have to be darker in tone, like a black cat, for it is not exempt from their distaste for light. They are allowed to have a light on them however too, so that may help. 

Overall, they would be confused but then try to make accommodations for you. They wished that the light did not bother them too much, so that you would not have lived in fear in general. They also wished that you did not have those fears to begin with, they prefer to live a life of fun, and want you to do the same. Kind of cheesy, but yeah. They care about you, despite what they have done, and despite the fact that they are… Darkness incarnate, they hope you can find a way to either be friends with them (perhaps more…?)

It is important to note that they will not be the one to start the romance, and if you want a romantic relationship… Tell them. Loving touches and stares and such is something they only deem as a romantic sort of thing, so they would not realize it.

Once you do mention it… They ask you to explain. They do not really understand things like dating and such, it is not common in their species to do such a thing. 

It takes awhile for them to get used to using the word “lover” instead of “friend”, yet it makes them happy knowing that you are the only one they call that, as well as the other way around. 

They… Can hold you. Cuddle you, they will be gentle in general, yet they are also confused about the concept of kissing. They do not have a mouth, and while they can talk, they can not kiss per se. If you kiss them they do not realize the meaning behind it, until you explain it that is, and once you did… They can not get enough of it. Please kiss them all the time! 

Sleeping with them is also interesting, for the fact that everything is so floaty within the Dark-Realm… So you both will literally be floating around in the dark room, bouncing around oh so slightly like the bubbles along a laptop screen (if that makes sense help). They will not let you get hurt by the walls or floor, they are wrapped completely around you, yet do they really sleep…? Answer is sort of. They often just rest yet are awakened by any noises you make, yet are also calmed by them. 

You get to have more TV time! They may even float in the corner and view it as these dates you mention, and they will react the same to Earth time as well. Spend more time with you, be perhaps a bit more clingy in the shadows, yet do they get jealous about you spending a lot of time with others (even as a couple)...?

The answer is no. They are not easily jealous in general, and it does not change with you both being a couple. They are still very loving, yet they do not get the concept of falling/crushing with more than one person, so they do not see any impossible issues with someone being touchy with you. You can ask them to act jealous, but… They may perhaps scare the other person to death. 

Like being friends, you can name them, yet admittedly, they will respond more to the term “lover” more than other terms. They still appreciate the name however, and will show off that and their pet name to others of their kind. 

With dating being a rare, rare thing in their kind, marriage has never been done. It would be something you would also have to initiate, and even then they do not get it. You guys are already bound together by this dating thing, what is the point of that? Unless if you were really insistent, it would not be a thing. 

Ah, the marriage would be on earth, at night, perhaps near the woods or in a really dark and shady building. Your friends, both human and nonhuman, would all be invited, and you would have to wear black. Again, they do not like the light nor pure white, so traditional weddings look so ugly to them. 

I may make a part two either way to discuss marriage, starting a family, all that jazz, yet I would be more motivated if requested so…

Yandere? Monster OC Headcanons

A/N; Hi, shameless plug but please check out part one and part two of my yandere (?) monster series! I'm so thankful for all of the support I got for part one, yet part two has not gained any traction, so... Anyways, here are some facts about my monster oc. Note that he does not have a name, but I am open to opinions on what they should be named. As always, send in asks! Legit can be about anything, not even just this series. I also take requests! At the bottom will be part one and part two.

TW/CW; Scary (?) monster, not really overly yandere, light mentions of missing/dead people, not detailed kidnapping, being held hostage, no hope, very (very) light manipulation, I did read over this over and over but there may be a spelling mistake...? I believe that is all. Perhaps teratophilia yet it is not really romantic as of this time.

Word Count; 1,009... Hopefully that is a decent amount for headcanons, especially since there will be more parts probably.

So first of all, they do not have a name and do not even realize that humans have names until you explain it to them. It kind of shows how long people usually survive with them… 

They are also, despite their cheerful attitude, easily irritable. This comes with the fact that they are some sort of demonic monster thing, that is how most of them are. 

I should also probably mention exactly where they live (as well as now you, if you do not annoy them that is)... They call it the Dark-Realm, and instead of calling Earth… Earth, they call it the Dirt-Realm. Everything is pitch black within the Dark-Realm, gravity being a myth there as well, and when light and gravity is present they are a lot more weak. Anyways, you won't be seeing any sort of light anytime soon.

They do not have a more human form, when on Earth, they actually hide away. Actually, when the monster found you they were hiding upon the top of the street lamp. You didn't take it down yourself, yet with gravity in effect, they weigh a lot… You just had amazing timing, didnt you? 

A bit more about their kind; not many of them actually speak any human languages. They interact with grunts and huffs usually, and they view loudness as joy usually… When screams are heard, just like the monster, they also view it as a thing of joy. They get annoyed when people overuse it, so… 

They also do not have faces, they have the indents within their faces where eyes and mouths and noses should be, yet they are not there at all. They can however, gain faces in unconventional ways, yet it is not common.

Moving on and focusing just on the monster, they are for sure not into romance nor being crazy crazy for you just yet. Romance is not a well known thing amongst their kind, and my oc has personally had to take care of a lot of humans in general, so getting attached is a bit hard. 

One way to get them attached to you is if you explain names to them and give them one, especially if it is one that they can say easily. They will only let you use that name and won't really tell anyone else about it. 

Their main focus is being a good friend, as long as you are as well. Scream when they want, be quiet when they want, and just be around them and they are happy enough. 

They will take you to Earth a lot, let you be in the light, especially after they learn that the darkness within their house and realm causes your head to hurt a lot. Can't be a good friend if they're the one causing you headaches, right? 

They also do not understand the fact that you had friends and family before they took you, for like romance, that is also an unfamiliar concept within their species and the Dark-Realm. You only have friends there. 

They do not get jealous at all either, when you do interact with other monsters like them, they aren't the most interested and can't really understand you much other than your facial expressions, so you can't really get someone else to try and help you escape. 

You can try to run while on Earth, yet you won't get far. They do not see it as an escape attempt, and instead see it as simply seeking out friends! Yet where there is light, there is darkness, which is where they will always lurk. When you have wandered long enough, they pick you up, like any good friend would!

It is nearly impossible for you to try and contact the police or any sort of authorities, or even friends and family, it is hard to explain the situation you are currently in after all, who would even believe in you? 

After you finally get used to this new lifestyle you were forced into, and actually start to talk to the monster, you realize that while not the most mentally a-ok, they are not the worst thing you could have ended up with… It didn't even really take much manipulation from them either, just sweet old time. 

After you two officially become friends (more official than they believed before), they start to make home accommodations for you to make it more comfy for you. They let you have a light on you (just don't flash them), as well as a tv! Just don't let it be too loud, don't question where they got it from or how it works, and don't prefer it more than them. 

While not easily jealous, they are easily annoyed (they do not view it as jealousy), so you only get five hours of tv time and the rest is either sleeping or friendship time! They personally don't watch tv with you, so it gives you alone time and time for them to get you gifts. 

Speaking of gifts, you once ran into your house when trying to make friends one time! They found it and while they didn't like how it looked at all (too bright), they brought things from it here and there. 

They aren't overly touchy, afraid to perhaps hurt you, the most you get is the pinch of the front of your shirt or perhaps being carried to bed. Despite being energetic and somewhat childish, they do care about your health a lot, despite how they apparently “took you from your life”.

Yes, they are easily irritated (especially at first) and it takes you a moment to get used to things, but compared to others of their kind who would not understand you were… “Lucky” to be caught up with this thing. You even get to name them, how nice. 

You're allowed to have friends, both monstrous and human, yet you always must remember that you are their best friend and that's final. 

I may have another part with more… Romantic headcanons if people desire them.

Yandere? Monster x G/N Reader (PT 2)

A/N; Hi, so I was not sure when I would be updating this but... One of my favorite writers on here (I'm not sure if I should say who they are but I will if someone asks!) liked my other part so... Instant motivation for sure! Next part may not even be a part, but instead headcanons for my character! My first post got 20 notes, I legit started to tear up with joy, so...

You had no idea how long it had been since what happened before. 

Actually, it took you a moment to even realize what happened before you “went to sleep”, your eyes going from drowsy to alert in a matter of moments as soon as you did actually remember. In all honesty, all you could was… Pure darkness. Squinting your eyes you could notice what seemed to be a couch and a table, yet nothing like a tv in sight. The room seemed rather spacious, yet also made you feel somewhat claustrophobic, the darkness engulfing you. You continued to look around, trying to make your body aware that this was not some sort of abyss, yet you couldn't stop yourself from clamming up. Ah, actually, it was probably important to mention where you were… Resting. You had no idea as to how, or why, yet you seemed to be… On the ceiling? You checked your hands, checking your legs as well, yet there seemed to be nothing holding you down at all… Did you have powers? Before you could ponder anymore, you noticed a hole in the ceiling that was rather… Big. You realized why soon, however, the thing from before seemed to float out of it and “look” around curiously, you remembering they seemed to have no visible eyes. Their long neck seemed to crane around slightly, focusing on you and leaning their head in closer as soon as they saw the fear within your eyes.

“Hmm?” That sound seemed to indicate confusion as you tilted your head, unsure as to what the creature could be confused about. Was it the fact you were alive? No, that wouldn't make sense, perhaps it was the fact that you were awake… You did not get to ponder as long as its long fingers reached for your shirt, pinching the front of it (yet not you), pulling you up (or would it be down?)... A gasp of surprise escaped your lips as you started to float, much like the thing before you did. You moved your arms and legs around hurriedly, out of instinct, to try and grab something, anything, yet you were stopped as the creature pinched the front of your shirt once again. Fear had also paralyzed you, yet you still floated around, the grip of the monster causing you to gently bounce around like one of the bubbles on a laptop screen when not used for a while. 

You wanted to scream. 

You so desperately wanted to scream.

Yet you thought back to what the creature said before, how they enjoyed the silence… As well as how they seemed to view screaming as an expression of joy… You thought back to the missing people, who all probably screamed when they saw this thing, and you noticed how you did not see nor hear a single one of them in sight. So, with all your might, you tried to think about this as logically as possible. Could this thing even understand english? You had no idea if it could, yet it was worth a shot. Taking a few more moments to think over what you were going to say, you could not notice the monster’s curiosity with your face… You were an open book (at least, that's what they believed humans said), worry, fear, and then the eventual calmness being… Cute expressions along your face. 

They wished they could do the same. 

“Um…” You realized you had no idea how to address this… Thing, so you chose not too, glancing around it before back at it with an awkward smile, trying to get on its good side. You also spoke in a hushed whisper, a bit surprised it could even hear you with how quiet you tried to be. “How are you?” Ah, what an amazing conversation starter. In all honesty, you had tried to mentally plan what you would say, yet as soon as the first word left your lips, your mind went blank. You did not want to interrogate it immediately, it perhaps did not even understand you. Well, they did speak to you, yet perhaps they could not interpret your words? Or perhaps you were overthinking, either way, you did not get a response immediately. You could not tell what they were thinking, because unlike you, they were for sure not an open book. They were like a locked book with many locks along it, as well as tape that was within a chest. And that chest was within a car, that was within a plane, that was within a boat, and then the boat ended up sinking and drowning not only the book, yet perhaps your thoughts (or that's what you hoped, the darkness and the overthinking was giving you a headache). 

At least the creature had the mercy to save you from your thoughts with its odd voice.

“Awe, that is so nice of you to ask! Gonna make me gush, just kidding, you already are. Anyways!” The laugh that had escaped their lips before had done so once again, and while it was obvious it was because of the fact you were in an awkward situation, you also laughed along, yet it was a lot more quiet. Despite the fact that they claimed to like the silence, they were rather loud, causing you to shake yet not comment on it at all. Despite their cheerful nature and perhaps charming… No wait, not charming, that was the wrong word… Charismatic nature, you could not find it within yourself to trust this thing, after all, you just remembered it kidnapped you. You did wanna speak up on it, yet once again, remained silent as it continued to talk. 

“I am happy happy happy! I am so glad that you agreed to be my friend!” 

…You did not agree to that, yet nodded along. They cocked their head around you, their neck seeming to… Extending as they wrapped it around you, many, yet soft, confused hums escaped their lips as you panicked and hoped you did not do anything wrong. You did not even notice how much you had been sweating as you swore you heard a sniffing sound coming from them, despite them not having any nose… You bit your lip as their neck went back to… “Normal”, head turning to face you, and you could swear you could feel the confusion radiating off of them. 

“You do not smell the smell of happiness, you smell of fear…” You gulped, “And while I enjoy the quiet, I have not heard a single scream of joy. Could you do one for me? Just so that I am sure you wanna be my friend!”

You screamed. 

They laughed.

As of right now, no, I do not believe that it has a name. It probably does not even realize that most things do have names... Or perhaps even the concept of a name.

It may even let you name it, yet it would take some time to really get used too. While I would not believe it has a name preference per se, something simple like "Al" or "Ann" or something of the sort would be better, easier for them to understand. They also would not like it if you called them "The Beast" or "The Monster" or any sort of scream of joy (they find it cute and fun... at first). Their reasoning is that within stories those names are often referred to in a bad way... Also, when they learn humans have names (as well as other things), they deserve they also should have it in the same fashion!

Actually... How about you guys give me name suggestions? I will eventually have to refer to them as something (unless if you guys prefer no name...?) I will for sure consider them all, thank you for the notes and ask, I was surprised it got so many!!! Thank you again.

This is just the tip of the iceberg... Btw, it isn't really romantic at all, it may turn into that but it is mainly platonic as of right now.

It was not the smartest idea for you to be walking alone at night.

Despite the fact that it was common sense, you and a few others did not get that. With the rise of missing person reports flooding your area, you thought it would have been an amazing idea to try such a thing. You had your reasons, walking and exercise in general has been shown to help calm people down, which was what you needed. You had a nightmare, yet you did not want to linger on it for too long, for it was well… Bad enough to make you want to go on a walk, in the dark, despite the nature of it. The concept of it was simple, you were alone in a simple, generic scary woods setting, being chased by… Something. You actually had no idea as to what it was, yet your instincts kicked in and caused you to run, unable to look behind you and check. To shake off the thoughts, you looked at the houses within your neighborhood, all of them looking the same. Two floors, gray inside, and perhaps a grayer inside. A little white porch with white fencing in the back, giving off the illusion of having privacy despite every house being built on top of each other… You did not mean it as an insult, your house looked exactly the same, and was. It was a rather nice place however, the best you could get for the price you could pay. 

Lost within your thoughts, you didn't notice how the sidewalk you were walking along became uneven until you ended up tripping over it, panic filling your head as you grabbed the nearest item, which was a street lamp. You planned to use it to stop your fall, to steady yourself, yet it became unsteady as soon as you put any pressure on it. A gasp escaped your lips as it started to fall to the ground with you, yet something seemed to catch you. Before you could turn your head to see what, or who, saved you, you were distracted by the sound of the glass breaking, the light slowly flickering out. You stared with wide eyes, feeling whatever had a hold of you let go, you stepped away to mentally prepare yourself to turn around. Despite the fact that you knew whoever, or again, whatever, did not want to hurt you, you couldn't help but feel fear… The recent missing person reports flashed in your mind, as well as the possibility they were nice enough to help you was only to gain your trust… Yet you turned, your eyes not getting a break from its widened state. 

You would not even call the thing in front of you a human per se. 

With long, lanky legs and arms that got wider the closer it got to the tips, to the oddly short torso the thing had, to its actual… Regular sized humans like the neck, as well as the head, yet its face was not human… Or lack thereof. There were indents along its facial structure as to where eyes and a mouth would be, yet it did not have any of those features. It had to be at least ten feet tall, at least, yet it was hard to tell because of their hunched over posture. It had no clothes on, yet you did know if it really needed any clothes… Or if any really would fit its body at all. It did not say a word as it moved rather… Fluidly, body twisting and turning in order to look you over. You probably should have screamed, yet you were frozen in fear. You did not even realize that your jaw had nearly dropped to the floor, but you did when it gently placed what could be its pointer finger under your chin, slowly pushing it up to close your mouth. 

“Hi! You do not scream from joy like the others, yet I can tell that you can barely contain yourself!” 

You were surprised by its chipper tone, their voice sounding mature, yet their childish tone making you do a double take. It pulled its finger away from you, clapping in delight, despite how… It’s words really were when you thought about them for even a moment. You went to open your mouth, your lips shaking like the rest of your body, yet its pointer finger came back down to you and pressed against your lips, head cocking around here and there as it leaned down to be face to face with you. A gentle laugh left their lips, or, what you believed would leave their lips if they had any, the glee from before still evident within them as they spoke once more, it being the last thing you'd hear for a while. 

“Oh, no no no, I like the silence.”

About Me! | Intro Post!

Hello, here is a little intro post for this new account I have made. This is my first time using tumblr, so I apologize if things are formatted weird.

You all may call me Moo/Moo-Moo/Moon. Or perhaps anything that you would like to call me. My pronouns are he/him mainly, yet if you would like to use any others you can. I am 18+. This account will be used for a variety of things, yet mainly my writings and personal blogging, as well as interactive ocs. I am also open to rp, as long as you are 18+ (and you should be to view my posts anyways). I will be writing things along the darker side, including things like yandere and things of that sort.
