Chimera Rising AU: Master Post

This is an AU based off of a mix of 2012 and Rise, but ultimately has its own story and lore. The turtles are chimeras because the experiments they underwent both before and after hatching, giving them a multitude of animal dna, along with some human dna. Without a star in the sky, Splinter vows he will learn. - Or, Splinter decides to visit his old apartment after an awful nightmare. A few things change after that.

have a 2012 AU! been obsessed a bit about Splinter econnecting with his old life in a way, and this invaded my brain while listening to a SHINEE orchestration (maybe i should make playlists?? idk)
