My arcane Roman empire is that the reason Jinx is the most sympathized and loved character is because most who watch it relate to her or vi. Let me explain, watching arcane as the oldest child (as the vi) makes you hurt for jinx every step of the way. To you it doesn't matter what's happening with vi because there's Jinx, the younger child damaged by the older one being talented in some other way. It makes sense to sympathize with a character who reminds you of yourself, it makes even more sense to sympathize with one who reminds you of your younger sibling.
