Mathematics I haven’t learned yet is mysterious, almost religious in how it tantalizes me.
Mathematics I am learning is frustrating and taxing.
Mathematics I have already learned is trivial, and left as an exercise to the reader.

Sooo, I'm now in the middle of my 2nd semester and I'm not really taking any classes because my mental health got so bad. Luckily, my uni has a pretty good team of counselors that can also help you find a therapist (especially with these insanely long waiting lists here).
In other words, uni is a bit on hold right now and will officially start again in October. I'm still a bit embarassed about it, but I've been dealing with mental health issues since I was 12/13 and never got any professional help so maybe this was just a matter of time.
Anyway, I'm going to therapy, studying a bit here and there, and when October rolls around I'll be ready.
If it was easy, it would be boring ✨🌱 (or at least that's what I tell myself)

bitches will love magic systems and then dread studying stem because its hard. Like, your mind IS the magic! Physicists, biologists, and chemists are literal wizards. They can transmute substances and cure diseases and predict the future. Engineers have made structures that stand for millennia and rocks that think and enchanted clothes and wonders we can barely imagine. Mathematicians are eldritch creatures that can peer into the fabric of reality and will reveal what they see if only you learn their language.
So yes, stem is difficult and esoteric and maybe can’t be mastered, but its literal magic and its everywhere and if you can’t appreciate that, I don’t even know how you get through the day.
this is also a reminder to take care of your mind. Magic runs on your mind and sheer willpower. If you’re studying late and getting drowsy, go to sleep. Consider meditating if you’re stressed out. Exercise regularly. It’s definitely not easy, but the benefits are real.

It's okay if it takes a little longer than you thought.

🌱week 16: 27.01.'25 - 31.01.'25:
No more lectures! Now I just need to prepare for my exams in March and stay alive. Shouldn't be so hard...right?
This is my first semester at university and I feel like I've experienced more in these past few months than I have in literal years. And I'm really tired.
But at least maths is neat and my classes are interesting (even though I might not pass al of them, but maybe that's okay. It's my first semester after all and I also had to figure out how to live so there's that).
Being an adult is so weird and overwhelming sometimes but everything will work out! <3

Computers are very simple you see we take the hearts of dead stars and we flatten them into crystal chips and then we etch tiny pathways using concentrated light into the dead star crystal chips and if we etch the pathways just so we can trick the crystals into doing our thinking for us hope this clears things up.
