As someone who identifies as sapphic and loves wlw stories and would love as much representation as possible- Caitvi was totally fumbled. It is very VERY valid for people to criticize the way they were treated (especially Vi) in the show, and how certain moments felt incredibly unearned and even uncomfortable.
The majority of the friends I talk to about Arcane are POC sapphics, and we are all on the same page about enjoying Jayvik and Timebomb while feeling really disappointed with Caitvi. Sorta sucks to see a lot of discussion online devaluing valid critiques into accusations of lesbophobia and misogyny.
