I love all of them. Ferb is a favorite of mine. Ferb's character is mysterious as we only gets peeks at his secret life
I am simply their number one enthusiast since always!
I think my attachment to Ferb is bigger than to Buford and Isabella because I had a crush on him when I was a kid, but I just love all five of these children very much

Damian defends the Red Hood. the family doesn’t know why, but it’s concerning. what reason would their youngest have to defend a crime lord? there must have been something more to it.
even after the identity reveal, Damian refuses to step down. the moment he perceives the family as being unfair to Jason, the moment they seem to overlook him or brush him off, Damian will be there to tell them off and remind them that, actually, Jason was talking first.
what’s probably even more dumbfounding to them by that point is that Jason lets it happen. it forces them to realize that Jason hardly fights for himself, to be heard or acknowledged. and for those of them that had been there when Jason first joined the family? it’s a painful reminder of the skittish boy they had first got to know
Damian takes his duties of brother very seriously. when Jason first joined their family back in Nanda Parbat, his mother had been very clear when explaining to him that his brother was in no state to speak or stand up for himself due to his catatonic state. Damian had made it his mission then to not only defend but also promote his brother’s interest. it would be unbecoming of him to let anyone diminish or take advantage of the more vulnerable member of their family until he could do it for himself
except that time never did happen. Damian still jumps to Jason’s defence at a moment’s notice and Jason still gets a little choked up when he gets to witness how how protective his little brother still is of him

fiyero's point of view of part one is hilarious. He leaves elphaba and glinda to themselves for one day and now Elphie is wanted by the government and glinda is technically a prisoner/is kissing up to the wizard and super sad about Elphie. The throuple is in danger and now he's left to hold the braincell.

Imagine if you will Perry dealing with Doof but it's taking a lot longer than usual. He doesn't want his family to get worried, so he quickly sends Stacy a text asking her to cover for him which she agrees too. Naturally, Perry assumes she'll just call Candace and tell her something like Perry's wandered on over to her house and not to worry.
Cue Perry's utter shock and horror when he finally gets home and sees Stacy in a full human-sized Perry the Platypus costume sitting beside the family as they all eat dinner together, except for Candace who's been staring intently at Stacy in horrid confusion the moment she wandered up to the backyard making Perry's usual noises after Phineas asked 'Hey, where's Perry?'.

So I think it's become more common to know that "no one mourns the wicked" can be viewed as "no, one mourns the wicked" as the ENTIRE story follows the irony that Glinda is the one mourning Elphaba, mourning the wicked and using this we can then look at the line
"goodness knows she dies alone"
Because Glinda is the good witch. She is "goodness" itself and she is probably one of the only ones who does know that Elphaba was lonely, that she was more than she was made out to be and that she deserves to be mourned

Awesome! I can totally see this happening in the show. Perry would probably let this invention slide
PnF Spirit Week 1: May 26th - Parental Units
Heinz and Charlene may have their share of troubles as a divorced couple, but no one can deny that they are good parents to Vanessa. A little bit overprotective at times, but what can one do, when their precious only child had entered puberty a bit too early for their comfort.

They are just happy Harry is bringing home friends
harry kim being harry kim i like to think he’s had a lifelong habit of befriending and bringing home random stray misfits and his parents have long since gotten used to this and are just happy to see whoever shows up on their doorstep for dinner so when voyager gets back to the alpha quadrant and harry brings his extended polycule to meet his parents they’re completely unphased. “oh this is your ex-felon boyfriend, your ex-terrorist girlfriend, and your ex-terrorist girlfriend’s ex-borg girlfriend? how lovely to meet all of you :) did harry ever tell you about the time back in his academy days he brought home a classmate who turned out to be a romulan spy?” (<- the spy was doing a very poor job at being a spy and harry felt bad for them) (they still keep in touch)

Captain Janeway is one of my favorite characters of all time because she was SO annoying to the time travel police that one of them went insane and tried to kill her. 11/10 no notes.
#star trek voyager#kathryn janeway#captain janeway#the fact she didn’t even want to be time traveling and it JUST KEPT HAPPENING is also very very funny#and then after that? she tried back in time to change a bunch of stuff and they didn’t even TRY to fix it lmao

Janeway is still incredible representation
As a young woman, I’m obsessed with Janeway. I imagine her being amazing representation back then, but I think that she’s still incredible representation now. Here are some things that I think still make her unique 30+ years later:
She’s “motherly” and she wants to have children, but she’s never made to feel bad or less than about not having children.
She’s so naturally commanding. There are no conversations about her being a woman in charge, she just is.
She has a mixture of stereotypically masculine and feminine interests and traits. As a starfleet captain, she gets to work a lot with science and engineering but in her spare time she plays gothic holonovels and knits.
She sacrifices her personal happiness with great stoicism. This feels like a trope I see used for male heroes, intended to show their strength of character, but I rarely see it used for female characters
She often argues for the pragmatic stance without being an emotionally closed off person. This is so refreshing since many female characters often argue for the moral and/or emotional stance. Female characters who argue for the pragmatic stance will often be shown as emotionless, cruel etc.
She has very realistic mental health problems and regrets, but she presents herself with incredible confidence. She has the same touch of overconfidence that Kirk has, but seeing a female character possess this trait (without being a villain) is still unusual.
She’s a middle aged woman who gets to be seen as beautiful and desirable without that being the focus of her character. The respect she gets from others is earned by her actions, but her beauty is also acknowledged.
Janeway is good at almost everything, but she isn’t always right and she’s no Mary Sue. She’s so aspirational because she’s so realistic, she is never “chosen”, special or superhuman in any way. She feels like a woman I could know, and it’s inspiring to see an “ordinary” woman lead and do extraordinary things with knowledge and determination.

I absolutely love Kira's arc with Cardassians and I feel like we don't talk about it enough. We start out with this woman still righteously angry at the Cardassians for everything that happened on her planet, but she grows beyond that anger so beautifully. She accepts a Cardassian father figure, she takes a half Cardassian girl into her own family, ultimately she fights for the liberation of Cardassia itself.
And yet through it all, her righteous anger remains. She isn't overflowing with some sort of sentimental, idealised forgiveness. She's a real person, learning and growing, and it's beautiful.

You know what I never see people in the Phineas and Ferb fandom really talk about.
The fact of the matter is, Jeremy is actually just as much of a freak about Candace as she is about him, he's just more subtle about his crush than her.
Like Candace might have memorized the very first day Jeremy ever spoke to her (in the 7th grade), but Jeremy's been crushing on Candace since grade school.
When Candace doesn't even remember meeting Jeremy until middle school.
He inadvertently admitted to the fact that when he was a kid, he traded away his favorite toy car for the mini safe that he then used to store the chewed up pencil Candace gave him back in grade school.
Jeremy also tries to lie about things in order to either impress Candace or hide his nerdy interests from her.
He gets the boys to make something to fake him being able to dance so he doesn't disappoint Candace during Nerdy Dancing, and he's revealed to be hiding that he's into larping in Candace against the universe.
Hate seeing people act as if this isn't a case of mutual obsession going on between Candace and Jeremy.

i’m actually crying because i really can’t believe that this is most likely the first time in elphaba’s life anyone has ever said any words like this to her before, and especially with such sincerity and certainty and just plain full of love. no one has ever been that soft with elphaba before in her life. and vice versa, i think glinda has never been so honest and gentle with another human being before. she’s kept her walls up her whole life, but with elphaba, she just feels free to love her. in whatever capacity she can. they really did change each other for good.
