me in the future – 26 March, 2024
she spoke through the cable, "really? i wont be treated in a different way? there won't be a hint of awkwardness in the air?" he supposed "yes, on one condition: you cover your polka dotted shirt in something, like a jacket. you said that this is who you are, not a mode thing right?" she replied, "yes, my digits are that way because i'm not a girl, it's a related thing not a mode thing."

another shot in the dark. – 16 September, 2023
another bouquet of “I love you”s and “you’re gorgeous” and “cute.” another chance of something great another chance of place in this world. another guaranteed split: furthering unspoken issues. another great silence, displacement of tw(o or more).

"loser" – 18 August, 2023
She stares at me with cold uncaring eyes: An active creature of hate, She lives worry-free as similar are abundant. It’s so difficult the way things are. For the worst people out there to be born fortunate, and the other way. Around the magistrate so gluttonous and despicable they stand. It is apparent in this environment treachery is praised and sanity is hated.

welcome to the toil where “innovators” emerge where the average can’t learn where the rich get richer where the poor get poorer where they always win,  where you always lose where there is competition where it turns many insane where what seems like success is below average where this model leads research where this model leads the world where this model leads this problem will get worse for 10,000 years evermore

crash* – 12 August, 2023
SPLINTER [#] is what order to read each line when it gets confusing. Only when they is marked with a (P) they is plural Otherwise, they is singular. The Sun: As if I were blasted with billions of tiny rays, millions of tiny needles, millions of … giving me warmth giving me cancer. The Earth: I arose, I prepared, I’m slow, I arrived, The Moon: Mystique is attained, Miistakes are forever, making sense is never. The Sun: As if we’re here for education and it’s not just a subservient factory and … we truly grow?, we progress?, The Earth: I hope I elevate I leech I premeditate The Moon: It is upon us To be subjected to them (P) and their thoughts. The Sun: As if time weren’t infinite, we divide our fractions of fractions of … into manageable into codifiable The Earth: I walk, I talk, I’m slow, I think The Moon: that I’m paranoid. They’ve (P) noticed, and thus speaker is a nobody. The Sun: As if they (P) all hate them and Nothing will ever be okay forever and ever and … Ever they run And Ever they hide, The Earth: I run I hide I write I express The Moon: poorly. I come out and and replace them with a husk. The Sun: [1] As if words were abstract sounds and [3] 2. nothing will ever be okay and life is inherently unfair and … [2] meaningless scribbles on parchment and only … [4] 2. meaningless, ultimately. The earth: I find 2. I never, I can’t. 2. I won’t. The Moon: Still, they may 2. Things may never find their ways. 2. work out, ever. The Sun: [1] As if the sky was falling down, and [3] 2. As if all hope is lost and … [4] 3. As if no one loves them and … [2] the earth would come to an end and … The Earth: I couldn’t 2. I couldn’t, 3. I couldn’t. I break The Moon: Smothered by limits, 2. They “push on”?. 3. They stop loving. they smother themself. The Sun: [1] As if they (P) will win and … [2] 2. As if the sands of time are against them and … [3] 3. As if everyone else has someone and … [4] 4. As if they’re failing and … The Earth: I lose. 2. I falter. 3. I hate. 4. I hide The Moon: They (P) don’t win. 2. They may falter, but … 3. Taken are hated 4. Can’t The Sun: As if the world were beautiful and we were all on a pristine crystalline … there would be suffering still. the time is now The Earth: b r e a k The Moon: They go and waste away limitless, unsettlingly joyous, indestructible indifference.

Stairs – 4 August, 2023
One, two, three, four,  oh gods.  The treacherous trial I must pass.  I began to think,  I began to reason.  I am a person of reason.  “I can’ t underst and why  they are like  that.”  I almost saw nothing.  I thought about nothing.  I saw a  cerulean blue set of stairs.  Sixteen.?.

one with a rhyme scheme – 26 July, 2023
cw: lgbtphobia, possibly sh
i stand, son of Femininity, shredding myself, for promiscuity. i walk, i feel the eloquence of my getup, in absolute fufillment. i talk, illusion possibly shattered pray to Aphrodite for visions of androgyny. i run, cursing that stance and all those codifying me out of existance. it looks like they will win.

Untitled – 22 July, 2023
cw: trauma
Cat runs into Dionysus’s room. He is thrown into a fit of rage. poor papaw says “Just calm down!”  dio says that he can’t.  Dio says that trauma and sadness is different in different people. papaw inquires “I am sixty-four.  Sadness? You don’t know sadness.” with this pseudo-righteous voice.  I stand in the middle, like a decrepit judge. The silence is plaintive .
