I went through the submissions I've gotten from artists for issue 2 and there are some really good submissions in there, but there aren't a lot of submissions for cover artists. I'd like to start going through submissions for issue 2 at the end of this month, so if you guys want to submit for cover artist there's still time. Remember its a paid gig and you get to set your own rates.

After having gone through all the submissions, selected the artists, and gotten things underway. I am happy to say I am in a position where I can finally announce the artists for issue one of Robots & Aliens :) I'm happy to finally make this announcment and to show you guys who will be drawing this comic :)

Update

Hey guys I just wanted to give you guys an update on the status of the book. I've finished going through the submissions for the first issue, but I'm just getting a few back of the house items finished. I'm hoping to have everything ready to go by the end of the month.

I've also working on the last story for issue 2, so you guys can keep submitting as once I anouncce the artists for issue 1 I'll start going through submissions and selecting artists for the second issue. I also plan on selling Robots & Aliens through both my website (both physical and digital copies) and through sites like ComiXology, ComixCentral, Indyplanet, CryptoComics, and Amzon. I will also be selling physical copies to at one of the local comic book stores in my city.

I was thinking about setting prices on the website at $3 for a digital issue and $5 for a physical copy. Now these prices may change, especially for physical copies as I will have to factor in shipping. I might also charge a little more when selling on other sites, as they will be taking a cut of the sales.

So I've decided that along with selling both physical and digital copies of robots & aliens on my website. I will also start selling them through sites like comixology. I've looked into them in the past and it could be good. Might also try selling them through Amazon as well.

The time has come

Well the time has come for me to start sorting through submissions for the first issue of Robots & Aliens and its tough. I got so many great submissions and it will be hard to decide who makes the cut.
