New Fic posted The Iris Knows

It had been almost three months since their fight with Noroshi. And things were, Sakura dares to say, actually going great. The school felt somewhat lighter. The tension that had clung to every corner went away, and the scars, while still there, were starting to fade.

Which, of course, was exactly when things changed.

Umemiya was the bearer of bad news. Or, if you asked Umemiya, good news.

Endo Yamato and Takaiishi Chika, Noroshi’s top dogs, were coming for a visit to Bofurin - as guests.

Something between them had changed. Something subtle, yet undeniable.

Everyone could see it. Or, well, almost everyone.

Sakura could see it clearly as day. Like an iris blooming quietly in the shadows—watchful, knowing.

Everyone else?

Absolute clowns.

Sakura tried telling them. Really, he did.

But nobody listened, and assumed his “Romance Sensor” had broken.

Wu Meifen/ Wu-nainai - Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Very proud. Handles the legal site of the Wu family. Raises only the best dogs. Certified badass (as in she has a slip of paper framed proclaiming that she can kick anyones ass signed by Foye. **Foye!**.) Ready to kick Granny Hous (she was still alive in DMBJ2) ass anytime. Li Cu is her favourite but she spoils any of the children rotten. Has found a succesor in Yang Hao. Is only going to kick the bucket after Granny Huo. Has a spoiling competition going on with Zhang Rishan. Ready to slap her dumb Sons and her dumb Grandson. Retired feral.

Zhang Rishan - *Grandfather*. Adores Wu Xie and the children. Ready and willing to strangle Xiaoge (for whatever reason). Spoils the children rotten. Ready to throw down for any of those kids. Had a long conversation with LCs teacher once. The man might have pissed his pants. Insists on each of the children getting an education. Lets Yang Hao intern in the Hotels kitchen whenever he wants. Will deny liking Wu-nainais egg tarts to the day he dies. Yang Hao is his favourite.

Shades - The cool uncle, teacher to Su Wan. Su Wan is his favourite. Ready to murder for that child. Hands out candy to Su Wan and Li Cu anytime though. Not immune to the puppy eyes. Is able to calm a fight between Liu Sang and Pangzi. Is able to start an arguement between Bai Haotian and Li Cu. Tought Yang Hao to make drug candies.

Er-shu - the strict uncle/granduncle. Willing to kill for the kids. Ready to kill the kids. Can't keep up with them. Spoils them secretly. What *Grandfather* and Grandmother gift in monetary form or with smth else he gifts in experience and training. Li Jiale is his favourite. (Li Jiale is after LC the nicest one. Accidently threw a bowl at Su Wans head once no body lets him forget it.) Sets rules, is able to enforce them. The kids respect him.

Papa Wu & Mama Wu - Currently living in Kairo. Send letters and call a lot. Send a lot of gifts and puzzles. Take care of the Tiger Trio when they are staying in Kairo for University. Are highkey worried for everyone. Bai Haotian has been their favourite so far. Once the trio touches down in Kairo it is Yang Hao (somehow he has become the voice of reason).

Yang Hao - Li Cus 'boyfriend, soulmate, SO', Grannys favourite, might become the next "Madame" Wu, ready to go feral at any time

Su Wan - Li Cus, best friend and brother of another mother and all that, is the kind one, everyones favourite

Kan Jian - the cousin, cinnamon roll who can kill you, the fave cousin, possible only cousin, emotional but doesn't need protection

Luo Que - Kan Jians boyfriend, the mysterious one, doesn't talk like ever, scares most of them

Ke Jiazi - Li Jiales boyfriend, responsible and snarky, sense of duty, disliked Wu Xie at first but started to respect him, feels no shame in calling Wu Xie 'mother-in-law'

Pangzi - 1st adopted and youngest (he is also an uncle in a weird way)

Li Cu - 2nd adopted, eldest and favourite (somehow the mature one)

Liu Sang - 3rd adopted, brat and 2nd youngest (always fighting with Pangzi for parents attention)

Bai Haotian - 4th adopted, the daughter and responsible one (takes after Wu Xie the most. Gets made fun if by some of the brothers bc she had a crush on Mom)

Li Jiale - 5th adopted, technically the youngest and 2nd favourite (after what happened in w11 Wu Xie thought 'If I don't take care of him who will?')

About Damsel, the generation before Henry's are just the Queen and the King Consort. Which leads me to believe that she had no brothers. So how do you guys think Queen Isabelle' Parents schemed to save their daughter?

Chiron, suspicious: "Hm why is this the first time I'm hearing of it?"

Hermes Cabin: "Because we just got it"

Chiron, even more suspicious: "Hm, and how did you get this "Quest" ?"

Luke, presenting a very convincing Letter by Hermes detailing the quest: "This arrived in the cabin"

Chiron, feeling a trace of Hermes godhood on the Letter: "Very well. Be safe and Luke is in Charge"

Hermes Cabin: "Thanks Chiron we will!"

Hermes Cabin: "I can't believe we got away with it!"

Luke, clapping a Hermes kid on the back: "Good job, Julia!"

Julia, who just found out she is quiet good at identity theft: "Thanks Luke!"

Luke: "Excuse me my Dad's what?"
