Something I realized a while back is that, sometimes Simon and Ghost are treated like separate people. Which is true to an extent, but it’s also translated in a negative way at times. Where Simon is the ‘good’ one, and Ghost is the ‘bad’ or ‘cold’ one.

However… I think it’s not a bad thing, to be someone new. Just because Ghost is here, doesn’t mean Simon is gone either. I just like to think that Simon grew from his trauma, didn’t let it define him, and grew into Ghost, rather than become him.

And even in game and canon, Ghost is silly, he cracks jokes, albeit in a more gruff and stoic tone. And maybe Soap helped show that side more.

At the end of all my rambles, Ghost and Simon are different, yes. But they’re also not select as good or bad. Just, different stages of the same man.

headcanon that Ghost cannot cook for SHIT. bro grew up in the most horrendous environment, likely lacking proper meals and nutrition and relying on easy to make items like cup of noodles. the second he was old enough he joined the military where he quickly flew the ranks, never having enough time to learn something like cooking that requires a space for it and materials.

Mischaracterization for Makarov is SO bad it’s actually insane, like no I don’t think the man who was introduced though the lines “no rules, no boundaries, be doesnt flinch at human trafficking or genocide. He’s not loyal to a flag or country or any set of ideals, he trades blood for money” would have a relationship with an opposing side. I saw someone shipping makarov with soap my man did we play the same games💀he is genuinely such an awful person one of the original missions is to go with him to an airport with a gun and just start blasting. I understand headcanoning morally grey characters or characters who are pretty bad and giving them good traits and stuff but MAKAROV???? No he would not kill someone for you he would kill YOU

The work is fantastic, no doubt, but like the art… So bad. Horrible. Realistic lion. Realistic clock. Realistic roses. He googled “man tattoos” 25 minutes before walking into the shop and told them to make it work. Didn’t speak the entire appointment. Didn’t tell them to adjust the stencil. Didn’t have headphones. Just sat there like a big giant freak and then tipped 75% and left.
