Oggi (16 dicembre 2018, ad un anno esatto dalla sua dipartita) ricordiamo l'amico Z'EV a Ikigai Room Bologna con la proiezione del documentario a lui dedicato di Ellen Zweig. E' difficile spiegare cosa abbia significato per me conoscere un amico con Stefan... La sua opera rimarrà con noi per sempre, ed è per questo che sarà oggi visibile il suo archivio di nastri e inediti lasciato a Spettro qualche anno fa. E' un onore per me esserne stato fatto custode, ed è nostro desiderio, e sicuramente anche suo, valorizzarlo e renderlo disponibile a quante più persone possibili. Per questo cerchiamo qualcuno che abbia voglia e tempo di aiutarci a digitalizzare il suo archivio e diffonderlo per i posteri e futura ricerca. This is some very very sad news:

Free Music Archive is shutting down, for how long we don't know, but the site may be offline as early as November 9th due to funding shortage. All music contained will be uploaded to the Internet Archive so nothing will be lost but it is nonetheless extremely sad news as Spettro and countless other labels and artists were lucky enough to be able to share their music on this wonderful and unique platform. Spettro's had a good 3 year run on FMA: it has brought new life to old and new releases. It has brought together musicians and filmmakers. Some film makers asked for permission, some didn't, but anyway this has allowed our music to reach wider audiences across the globe, and for this we cannot be but eternally grateful. Spettro's albums have been literally listened to and downloaded hundreds of thousand of times, and no other platform would have made this possible. I'd like to thank FMA and Cheyenne for the incredible work done during its 9 year run and wish them the best of luck in finding a new home and help as soon as possible. For any question regarding your music feel free to ask FMA or myself.

FMA’s site will be closing down tomorrow probably (9th November) so grab some music while it’s still up!
