Spider-Man: It's About Time
59 posts
My name is [insert secret identity here] and I am Earth-109965's one and only Spider-Man, because I time-traveled back to the 60s and took Peter Parker's place and now I'm caught in a weird time-loop that isn't really a time loop and—hang on, this might take a while... pfp by @shedevilfox on Instagram

I got them in the store, but here's the link for them on the HT website!
I hope they have them in stock, they weren't too pricey!
Found these at Hot Topic today (top and bottom, the middle one is a shark tracking bracelet because conservation)

That's wrong though? There are very clear references to Spider-Man, and it very clearly says that it takes place in 2003. which fits Tom's timeline, I'm pretty sure.
It's not a bad movie, people are just spreading misinformation about it online without even watching the movie.

Sony will never cease to amaze me.... It's like they want to make bad movies

I saw an ad the other day for "all the Spider-Man movies" coming back to theaters, which of course I'm excited for.
But I just now realized, I don't think either of the Spider-Verse movies were advertised! I could be wrong, I may just not be remembering the ad correctly, but I'm pretty sure it was just the Raimi trilogy, both Amazing Spider-Man movies, and the Tom Holland trilogy.
How could they leave out 2 of the best Spider-Man movies EVER?!

He's not a captain, or part of the police force. That's part of why Jefferson doesn't like Spider-Man, he doesn't always work with the police, he does his own thing. I think rank really has something to do with it too. Like Jeff isn't "in danger" of the canon event until he is becoming a captain, while Gwen's Captain Stacy event has most likely been disrupted by his resignation.
Wouldn't the first Spiderman from Miles' universe count as a "police chief"? Sure he's not technically police, but he's a very important law enforcement

Also, here's the only picture I got as Spider-Man Timepeace, in front of the Miles Morales car:

And then me with Deadpool, one of the only photos I got in the regular suit (my phone was in a backpack most of the time, I didn't get a ton of photos)

If you ever want to get a tiny taste of what "With great power comes great responsibility" really means in a really wholesome way, just be Spider-Man for a day. Just be the only Spider-Man at a sci-fi convention with a bunch of kids in attendance.
This past weekend, I was two different Spider-Men. At first I was my spidersona, Spider-Man Timepeace from Earth-109965, the time-traveling to the '60s webslinger obsessed with the free people movement, rock and rollers and absurd TV sitcoms (The Monkees, in other words). I was this Spider-Man because I wanted to be him, I had been planning my suit, all my accessories, and my backstory for nearly a year. This was what I wanted.
But around halfway through the day, I felt like I needed to change things up. Only one person really understood what I was trying to pull off, and most people didn't even realize I was Spider-Man, even with the mask. I felt this compulsion, and I went with my gut. I went back to the car and took off everything except the Spider-suit.
I went back to the event, and I was just... Spider-Man. And it felt good.
I posed with a Deadpool statue, and I came to with a witty remark about what a great photographer Peter Parker is when somebody tried to slip me up. I fanboyed over the twin Tony Starks, and apologized for being late like Peter when I was the last entry to the costume contest, which I ended up missing anyway (whoops!)
But the really cool part was giving fist bumps and high fives to so many different people, and squatted to take photos with so many kids. My left calf is still sore from doing "the pose" so much, and my feet hurt from basically wearing socks on asphalt, since my suit didn't have soles. But it was so so worth it, just to see these kids get excited to get a picture with me.
Because to those kids with Spider-Man t-shirts and hoodies or even their own costumes, I was Spider-Man. These kids weren't meeting a 20-something dude who bought a $50 bodysuit online, they were meeting their hero. And I know exactly how these kids feel, because I was that 6-year-old kid completely obsessed with the webslinger not that long ago.
I started the day doing something for myself, but when I realized the obligation I had as my universe's one and only Spider-Man, the responsibility to these kids who look up to him so much, the choice was so clear. And I got so much more out of the day, just being your friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man.
and I'm still getting something out of it, or I wouldn't be writing all of this at 1 am. I know this is probably too long for anyone to read so it probably won't get too far, but I needed to express this feeling, to share what it's like to feel like Spider-Man.

Topics like this are why I'm just like normal Peter Parker Spider-Man except for a few specific things, like the draft, the Vietnam War (but also war in general), and my desire for peace.
Also living in two different time periods at the same time... that's kind of important.
But anyway, yes. Shout out to draft dodgers for being the real American heroes.
Not feminist as in "women should be included in the draft" but feminist as in "being drafted is a violation of bodily autonomy for any gender".
The draft should not exist. Drafting people into the military is a violation of human rights. You should not be able to force someone to risk their life. If you can't find enough people who care about a conflict to keep it going then it simply shouldn't keep going. You can't even force someone to donate a kidney using government power, why the fuck can you force them to donate their whole body and life to a cause they don't agree with or don't care about?
