Owlbear family I got for christmas present... Been working on this for a while. So much small stuff and so shaky hands! Seems like I have ended up kinda collecting owlbears too. Oops.
The mom is inspired by my childhood´s favourite "cartoon", Ginga nagareboshi Gin. Probably hard to see but she does have only one eye too. The babies are grey, because that´s what baby owls look like. Also gave them some snacks.
Plastic miniature, sand, woodshavings, paint, etc.

"It´s a shortcut, trust me!" Would you trust her? Is she leading you astray, or telling you to make your own path? Who knows. Witches can be a bit sneaky like that.
This was my sister´s old plastic witch-toy from our childhood. I found it and based/painted it for her. Guess it turned out pretty cute even if I had to resculp some details. The sign is made from a popsicle stick. It was a fun project. For some reason I love messing with old, cheap toys. =D

The noble potat-unicorn. I thought it being an arctic/tundra variant, more fur than anything else. Used to cold enviroment with a snow-shoe-like hooves that can spread on the snow so they won´t just sink when running. Just silly animal-ideas, turned out funny. Referenced mousedeer heavily, if that wasn´t obvious.

Don´t think I have posted this here before. Made this hama bead- thing last year, maybe? Inspiration was obviously the classic painting Girl with the pearl earring by Johannes Vermeer. Colors aren´t really right but I had to work with what I had. Took a LONG while to make. Pattern found from somewhere in the internet. Photo isn´t really showing the right colors either, but eh.

Dark thoughts.
I have been trying to get into more "rough" brush strokes, and I do like how it looks like. Seems more "painterly" to me? Unfortunately the photo isn´t great, again.
Acrylic.

This Sky Of Mine
Worked a lot faster on this one. Trying to smooth things out less, but it´s hard to leave things like that.
Acrylic.

A... creature. I have no idea what it is. Might be a luck-dragon puppy? Or a really weird alpaca.
Improvised of some spare-pompoms of leftover yarn. And wire, felting and some plastic eyes. I had no idea what i was doing. =I

"NO MORE."
She is fed up with all the predators all around.
Something a bit different, another try with the idea about the older painting that didn´t turn out like i wanted. Not very subtle, but eh.
This thing is a pain to photograph. Acrylics.
Edit: Fixed some things and took a better photo.

Bunch of silly borbs i made during last year. They´re basically just brushed yarn-pompoms with face, tail and legs stuck on. Simple but pretty cute. The biggest one on the bottom is the first one i made, which seems pretty obvious. =I
Beaks sculpted from airdry clay, eyes are beads and legs wire wrapped with yarn.

Felted a little capybara for my sister. The fruit have a little magnets on them so they stay on. Thought that it would be fun.
Kinda feel that i should work on this a little more, finished it in a hurry.
Edit: Fixed.

The potato animal has sprouted.
Put some trash together again. Guess it´s kinda cute. I made that little deer-blob many years ago and it´s been forgotten in my drawer, just figured I´d do something with it.

This took a while, even though it´s not even very big. Tried some new stuff again and made a baby degu for my bf. Hope he likes it. =)
Needle felting, brushed, wire skeleton, painted greenstuff sculpt for ears, feet etc and flocked with wool.

Tried using a cross-stitch pattern for some beads. Guess it works well enough.
