Star Trek TOS Favorite Moments
2K posts
As the url suggests, this is where I keep favorite gif sets, screen caps and other meaningful moments and memories from Star Trek: The Original Series.NOT a spoiler-free, ship-free,feels-free blog. I try to keep sources and/or info as accurate and true to the original material as possible but I'm in no way an expert on this--just a fan--and I love the creativity of fans who make their own interesting and thought-provoking commentary as much as I love TOS.

Not precisely, Doctor. On Vulcan, the teddy bears are alive, and they have six-inch fangs.

STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES | The Cage
“The Cage” is the first pilot episode of the television series Star Trek. It was completed on January 22, 1965. It was rejected by NBC a month later, and the network ordered another pilot episode. Much of the original footage was later incorporated into the season 1 two-parter episode “The Menagerie” (1966). However, “The Cage” was first broadcast on television in its complete form in 1988.“

Your friends from the 1960s South said roughly the same when this happened. Don’t let the turbo-lift doors hit you on the way out.

save net neutrality!
if we lose net neutrality, this blog will be gone, and won’t be back even in january. running this blog requires free, unrestricted access to tumblr.
if you enjoy this blog, if you appreciate any content creators on tumblr, on ao3, on youtube, etc. then save net neutrality.
please save net neutrality!
call your congresspeople. sign petitions. attend protests against the companies who want to end net neutrality.
tell your friends. tell as many people as you know. if we work together, we might be able to save net neutrality.
you matter. your voice matters.
if we all waited for other people to make the change we want to see, then nothing would happen.
your silence is your compliance.
save! net! neutrality!
