so we all know that the big arc of ofmd s2 is repairing stede and ed’s relationship, like that’s been established. we know that there has to be a big conflict at the end of the season so that the last season has a plot line to build off of. we also know that stede and ed are still building up to saying “i love you” to each other. so. do you guys think that they will be forcibly separated at the end of the season? and that the first time the words “i love you” are said will be when they’re being ripped away from each other and they don’t know if they’ll ever see each other again, so they have to say it just so that the other person knows that they’re loved? because i think that.

Caliburn was born when Nieke was around 6 years old. Nieke was pretty excited to have a baby sibling but was a bit sad when she realized he couldn’t play with her.

Her parents had already told her what would change once Caliburn would be there, they’d split their love and attention to them both and reassured her that they still loved her even tho there would be a new baby. Nieke tries to help her mother when Soundwave is at work. She’s still pretty small but tries her best. Be it from picking up her toys to talking to Caliburn.

Megs thinks it’s cute how Nieke always asks how her brother is doing and when can he play with her. He never thought she’d like being an older sister and was mentally preparing to have her throw tantrums once the baby was born. When Megs was still pregnant with Caliburn, she’d let Nieke sit close to her and feel/talk to him.

Nieke was once kicked in the face by Caliburn lol.

Nieke takes her role of big sister seriously and with pride, telling her kindergarten/first grade class about how she’s going to have a baby brother. Some of the students and staff congratulate her mean while some adults are terrified at the idea of Megatron having another spawn.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

*kicks down your door* It might seem like a plot hole that no one thought about the possibility of Dracula being invited into the asylum by Renfield (or any other patient) but actually it speaks to the way Renfield’s personhood is being denied mainly by Jack Seward, but also the rest of the crew in part through their reliance on Seward’s expertise. Which also ties into the way they have decided to shut out Mina at the very same time. It literally just did not occur to them that the patients living in the same building as them would have any claim to the residency that allows someone to grant the permission a vampire needs to enter a home. But of course the asylum is the patients’ home just as much as it is Jack’s! They live there! In short this fatal blow dealt to the heroes at this crucial juncture comes about through both their sexism and their ableism. Good night. *puts your door back on its hinges again and leaves*

hi really hope im not disturbing you!! (discussion of reality? head) for many years i’ve had this thought/feeling that nothing exist at the back of my mind, its not distressing in itself but it gives some sort of disoriented feeling..? Anyway i never really thought much of it because i always felt like it was normal? But anytime i would talk about it with others they dont seem bothered about it as i am, some even reacting like its obvious that we exist. Anyway lately i’ve actually been asking myself out of curiosity… are those normal thoughts? Like just some sort of belief system or is it some sort of dissociation? Or, since im diagnosed with schizotypal, is like ipseity disturbance? I feel like maybe sometimes this feeling is “behind” some of my past delusions (i usually get mild episodes tho), like if i cant even tell if i exist and everything else so maybe… this *bizarre thing* could be real? Or it leads me of thoughts about reality more similar to the Truman show. This was just a curiosity and its turning into some sort rumination. I hope i didnt trigger anything. I dont know if it qualifies as unreality, because it doesnt feel like it is to me, but could be for others maybe. I hope you are doing well!

Hi, you’re not bothering me at all. In general I think it’s good to have some introspection on how your mind operates. But it’s also really easy to get stuck ruminating about whether or not what you’re experiencing is real, normal, or valid. You might start to second guess yourself, or get caught in a cycle of self doubt. It’s good to question these things, just be mindful that it doesn’t become self destructive. It’s not my place to tell you whether or not your thoughts are “normal,” but I can assure you that they are always valid.

It seems you have a lot of good insight to your thoughts. I would just be careful not to analyze it too much, or as some people put it, get stuck in your own head. I realize it’s a bit hypocritical of me to say as someone who’s been told they tend to overthink. But I figured I would pass along this advice to you as well. Take care, and I wish you the best.
