I hope you guys know that when I say I love Clive (which I should say more often, what the Hell. I love Clive 💙🕊️), I don’t mean it in a “He’s so silly and pathetic” way, nor do I mean it in a “I love torturing him” way. These are perfectly valid ways to feel about him and I’m sure both are very fun! But that is simply not me.

When I say I love Clive, I mean I love Clive. I am deeply, genuinely, irrevocably in love with this character! I think he’s smart. I think he’s handsome. I think he’s the best antagonist in the entire franchise, Hershel’s true intellectual equal, arguably the only adversary who eventually outsmarted him (because that fortress did detonate despite our hero’s best efforts). I stand by every fic who ever characterised him as a smug sexy bastard (starting with mine)! I stand by every fluffy fanart and found family fanfic ever written (starting with mine)! I stand by 13-year-old Nina, who basically learnt to write, draw and edit for him!

Why am I saying this? Because we need to bring back the concept of unapologetically liking things without feeling the need to add a “but” afterwards. “I like Edelgard but I don’t condone her actions —” fandom purity culture is getting to you. “I like The Great Gatsby, I hope you guys don’t think I’m a pretentious bitch —” why does that even matter. “I like Miraculous Ladybug, even if the writing is objectively terrible —” what the fuck are you even on about. “I like N, I know it’s cringe, I know that makes me basic —” KILL THE HIGH SCHOOL BULLY IN YOUR HEAD. LEARN TO HAVE UNRESTRAINED SUMMER FUN ALL YEAR LONG. As a wise man once said, #YOLO

When you want to leave a comment

DON'T say stuff like 'I like the original better', 'this wouldn't happen' etc, except if the creator asked for your input. Otherwise just keep your thoughts to yourself.

DON'T try to promote yourself. This isn't about you, comments like 'wow, nice artwork, check out my stuff too' is a big no-no. Nobody gives a fuck about you, especially if you do that. Post your stuff and leave others. Even if you actually like their work, saying something like that makes you seem insincere.

DON'T say stuff like 'I'm retracting my like' (I've had this one happen before). We don't care. Nobody forced you to like the post in the first place.

DON'T be a smartass. 'Actually in canon bla bla bla', I didn't ask. Let me have my random headcanon in peace.

'This is nice but I ship xyz' or 'this is good but I like X character better' again, we don't care. This post wasn't made for your satisfaction, don't expect to like everything you see online.

Nice comments are always appreciated. It's ok to ask for clarification for something or even state your opinion. But remember, these posts aren't made for specifically you. Sometimes your opinion is completely irrelevant. Always remember you are dealing with real human beings.

Artists are not obliged to share their works with you, we do it because we want to. Don't expect everything to meet your personal standards. For the majority of people, art is just a fun hobby. Respect and understand that.

style 1 (left): ~15 frames, focuses on lines of dialogue.  posture and expression can change with each frame, and the background is static.

style 2 (right): ~15 frames, focuses on animating motion, and can only feature a single textbox. two of the cats can be animated, +$5 for each additional animated cat after that. +$5 for background animations (like water moving, plants shifting)

size: single nintendo ds screen (256 x 192 pixels) or smaller, plus zoomed in versions

time: 14 days (but delivered sooner if i finish it sooner).  i’ll give updates + chances to ask for edits when i have a draft of the sprites and background, and again when all the frames are put together.

can include: up to 5 cats, fake ui elements like health bars/nametags/menus, small objects on the ground or being carried, canon and original characters

The only thing I absolutely refuse to draw on principle is anything that promotes hatred or bigotry towards real people. Anything else is fair game! I’ll show a very basic sketch first, then upon approval, I’ll receive payment and finish the art afterwards. Payments through paypal or cashapp!
