for any of my og followers u prolly know already that in my au aster (lightworld gaster, essentially) is spamton's secret caller/benefactor, and in the process he isolates spamton and forces him to change (setting up for the whole "puppet" transformation) for his own benefits (aka fucking around and finding out until he realizes fucking around and finding out was an entirely BAD idea). but i was thinking, for spamtenna purposes....

when the library laptop is brought to the dreamurr living room and spamton and tenna meet, at first they're like rivals because they're both popular and have similiar qualities and charisma (theyre both like "he's stealing my look!!!!". or at least tenna is). But eventually, word gets out and tenna finds out that spamton pretty much became a bigshot overnight – he was nothing to EVERYTHING in such a short amount of time. And tenna wants to know WHY.

So he reaches out to spamton, proposing a deal: he can make him an even BIGGER bigshot by putting him on tv. He'll be a STAR! All Spamton has to do is tell his little secret; how he became a bigshot in the first place. Tenna hopes this deal will convince Spamton to accept and thus tenna will be able to reap the benefits from Spamton and become a BIGSHOT, too – maybe even bigger than spamton. Hopefully bigger than spamton. But Tenna's not gonna tell him that.

Spamton, of course, refuses. Because Aster would kill him. And besides, Spamton isn't suppose to get close to anybody anymore – he's a bigshot now, it'd get in the way of his work and public persona. He cant get close to anybody. He's not allowed to be himself.

Tenna's disappointed with this, but he doesn't give up easily. Despite their rivalry, he tries to get closer to Spamton.. Gets to know him better. Starts looking forward to talking to him. Starts actually enjoying his company. Starts actually seeing him as a friend. Oh no.

Spamton, on the other hand, is trying hard NOT to be interested in tenna's antics. He's a bigshot! He can't afford friends!!!! His career is ruined if he gets too close to anybody!!!

He brings this up to Aster one day, on a call. Aster thinks on it for a bit... considering options. But then, surprisingly, he suggests Spamton should collaborate with Tenna.. it MAY be a good idea to work with the T.V., since having a collaborator like that WOULD increase his clicks and make him a bigger salesman (though it also might alleviate some work on Aster's part, but he's not gonna tell Spamton that). However, under absolutely NO circumstances, Spamtons CANNOT tell Tenna his secret to success – or about aster, period. Aster doesn't trust Tenna, and does NOT want Tenna to jeopardize everything he's worked for. He want's the situation simple. Controlled.

Spamton is silent at first, then after a beat he agrees. He has to – his benefactor is always right. Always knows what's best for him. After agreeing, Aster immediately instructs what Spamton should tell Tenna next time they cross.

the next time Spamton sees tenna, he immediately strikes up a new deal – similiar to tenna's deal, but... different. Spamton offers they collaborate through both TV and the web: Spamton can show his ads on TV after Tenna's show, and Tenna can learn how to make it in this advancing technological world (because, after being pestered by Tenna so much, Spamton discovered that Tenna is NOT tech saavy with anything beyond tv or plugs. He doesn't even know what an email is!)

Hearing this, Tenna is ECSTATIC! Sure, it's not the original deal he wanted, but it's a start!! And who knows, maybe after some time their partnership and friendship can grow, and maybe, JUST maybe... spamton can finally tell tenna his secret to being a bigshot (now that he likes spamton, he doesn't really want to SURPASS spamton anymore.. but he wants to RELISH in it with spamton). Tenna agrees to the deal, and soon starts the beginning of their new business partnership.

But, as time passes....... they DO grow closer. Very closer. And tenna catches feelings for Spamton. Which is great for Tenna! He loves talking with spamton. He loves when Spamton watches movies late at night when theyre hanging out in the break room after hours. He loves spamton.

But spamton, oh, spamton... He's afraid. As both he and tenna get closer... He really starts seeing Tenna as an actual friend. He's trying his best to deny his feelings, but he just likes Tenna too much. And that's a problem, because he's not supposed to like Tenna as a friend. They're business partners. It has to be professional. If it isn't, and Aster somehow found out...... he doesnt even want to think about it. It wouldnt be good. It'd be disastrous, probably.

And to spamton's dismay, he and tenna start getting closer. And as they get closer, Spamton starts realizing things.. He loves when Tenna talks to him energetically. He loves when tenna walks into the room in mornings and greets him with an enthusiastic "GOOOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!" and smiles. He loves when Tenna smiles and is just... himself. No gameshow, no performance, just himself.

And that's when, Spamton realizes the worst:

He's in love.

With Tenna.

Oh no.

I'm of the opinion that you can tell a lot about OCs by the music the creator thinks they'd related to/enjoy

Onyx----

Song he relates to: Of Matches and Rust (Vane Lily Ft. Apollo Kepler) - The religious trauma. also yknow, the references to wanting revenge for how your were treated + praying for a better life.

Favorite song: Aishite Aishite Aishite (English cover by Will Stetson) - This is like. peak rage song for him. He loves screaming the chorus until he loses his voice when he's angry. he also faintly relates, but not enough for it to be the main song! (also. envy for this mans voice. this 100% isn't projection what do you mean /silly)

Aster----

Song they relate to: HARROW (Milgram first trial MV) - it's the vigilante vibes tbh. One could also make an argument for another song called Ayano's Theory of Happiness, but HARROW just has so many vibes (Note, upon relistening to Theory of Happiness, I think it fits Aster just as much as HARROW. Consider HARROW as 14-15 Aster and Theory of Happiness as 16-onward Aster!)

Favorite song: Rabbit hole / Sad Girl Sex (DECO*27) - I couldn't decided which one was funnier to give them so they get both lol Basically, they're songs explicitly about sex and hook up culture with like slight differences (as a comment put it: Rabbit Hole: who needs love, just give sex / Sad Girl Sex: who needs sex, just give love). Aster is the most ace person here and just likes them because they're fun to vibe to :3)

Sol----

Song he relates to: Language of the Lost (RIProducer) - A song about coming to terms with trauma and finding people who care about you and how to live again. Really this could've gone to anyone, but the second verse just gives off so much Sol vibes.

Favorite song: (Not) A Devil (DECO*27, English cover by Rachie and JudyPhonic) - As a trickster himself, he can appreciate the back and forth lyrics and the ambiguity about what their characters intentions are. It's also fun to stim to!

Luna----

Song she relates to: Tear Drop (Milgram second trial MV (English cover by Lime)) - *rubs hands together* okay okay so first off, Luna is the only girl in the group. She's also trans, and tends to feel out of place among her peers because of that. Within Milgram, this song is basically telling the audience off for assuming the singer is just an innocent child. I figured I could spin that so it's instead Luna trying desperately to say that her interests and habits don't make her a bad person (specifically her getting involved with the equivalent of sex work in their high school, all completely consensual and only with other high school students, so no weird age shit) (A/N I put together this whole character arc and I realized only after I was done that it was a bit too mature for the age group I'm writing for ;-; )

Favorite song: Even Though I Loved You (MARETU) - God forbid a women enjoys a song that might be about cannibalism /silly

Dustin----

Song he relates to: Poison (Thanks for Nothing) (LittleJayneyCakes) - really all I need to say is that his mother was similar to the parent in the song. That's really all I can say tbh.

Favorite song: Sniper (Yuika) - It's a cute love song :DDDDD Idk man he just really likes his partner (Aster)!!!

Keiran----

Song they relate to: Hated by Life Itself (English cover by Oktavia) - there's just something about a song telling a story about how awful life can be, but still turn around and give you hope the longer it goes on. I think that's kinda how Keiran goes about life. It's a horrid awful existence, but it still gives you hope for the future.

Favorite song: Rookie (DECO*27) - They like both the English verse because of how rock it sounds, the calmer bridge, and the very very catchy chorus!

6. Favorite and least favorite angles/perspectives to draw?

yknow top/bottom angles are extremely difficult but they're SO satisfying when you can get them right. with a decent reference and enough practice you really can just tackle anything! i don't really have a Least favorite angle, but facing front are the most annoying ones to get right. symmetry my beloathed

7. Who are some artists that have inspired you?

ohhh there's a lot. i think ggdg comes up first because their colors in Cucumber Quest and other works are Delicious. evan dahm's comics have been inspired me to try comics, i love Rice Boy to bits, Order of Tales and Vattu are are also fantastic. i love the surrealism in Hylics, Mason Lindorth is an amazing artist, Joel G's ENA is an incredible series that has been an inspiration to me.

i think special mention goes to Partycoffin's Welcome Home for inspiring me to convert CaelOS from an AU to a personal project that has now grown much larger than its AU iteration has. However. the fame that Welcome Home has gained no joke Horrifies me and i hope CaelOS never explodes like that.

and Dev Palmer's re:curse. idk man playing through it and listening to the music makes me believe i can make a little game about CaelOS one day too. though there's a funny thing...

the whole caroline house folder thing (if you know you know! play the dang game!!!) completely by accident ended up pushing me to make Aster Assistant Software. all because i really thought "caroline house" was going to be an ukagaka for a second!!!!

14. Do you prefer to make fan content or original content?

see that's an extremely tricky question to answer because my entire gallery has been driven by whatever i was hyperfixated on at one point or another. before april i'd easily tell you fan content was preferable

but now i feel a lot more fulfilled putting out these projects and chunks of story i want to create bit by bit. in part the fact that this is my original work that i have to actually Make drives me because it doesn't depend on outside opinion. i also have some events in mind already, how the main story starts and ends.

Project ASTER is more of a prelude to the whole thing, an exercise btw. it doesn't take part in the main story, but it helps a lot for me to put down Aster's backstory on paper

problem is though is i have no idea for how long this will last. i think the fact that there's several mediums being worked into it helps me keep interest. drawing, writing, programming, 3d modeling, and i'm strongly considering music as well. we'll have to see

tbh i was inspired by a post kappy made to make this and if i still had that posti’d link it bc it’s wonderful but,

my muse’s typing styles? a guide?? ?

aster - doesn’t appear to but does indeed have a very deliberate typing style. usually quite eloquent and has a steady vocabulary but sometimes mssieppells words for humor’s sake, or randomly Capitalizes them. plenty of irish/british slang, mate. cannot physically lie so finds ways to stretch the truth as much as they possibly can without being technically dishonest

dmitry- no capitals. no exclamation points. no emotes. we die like emotionally repressed men. well, sometimes capitals, exclamation points, and emotes. (BUT ONLY WHEN WE’RE REALLY EXCITED OR TAKEN BACK! :D) uses “like”.... like, a stereotypical teenage girl would, like, you know? ends at least 25% of his sentences with “idk” so his apathetic mask keeps up. the sarcasm train.

thomas/emmanuel - typing style very similar to dmitry’s. but much more assured and absolute. never uses emotes (except to make fun), and exclamation points are a rarity. excellent grammar and syntax. 

alex- just.... kind of types like this. you know, dude. you know? calls everyone “dude, man, bro”. very relaxed, sometimes uses emotes but usually? nah. says “nah” instead of “no” btw and “ain’t”s and “y’all”s make appearances sometimes because of the american influence around him, especially mcbuffstrong. WHEN EXCITED SWITCHES TO ALL CAPS AND LOVES TO BOLD AND HIGHLIGHT EVERYTHING!!!!!

sophia - nvr left 2009 txt speak bhind. doesnt bother w any sort of formulaic typing style bc she just cant be bothered. doesnt end a lot of her words w the g they need (gettin/fighting/sayin). n if that aint all she uses “n” instead of “and”, n “b” instead of “be”

marcellus -  typing style isn’t very consistent, thanks to brain weird stuff. has a habit of repeating words and phrases as a habit, also thx to brain weird stuff. sometimes uses txt speak, but not usually. everyone is collectively a “y’all” and the word “because” doesn’t exist in any form, it’s bc/cuz/coz

jo - spspelling ? ? hahaha ... .. that’s for immaturee baby lose..s..rs..... lots of missppelled words because of shakaky hands that she cant’t be bothered to fixed, so jsut constantlyl cry typing. all her emotes looosk like this :+( on rare blue moons, you can catch her exercising her lexicon to it’s full potential, but for the majority of the time... thsi isn’ttthe case

evelyn - fairly posh. rarely capitalizes, but always uses correct punctuation. has a habit of beginning replies with “well” and “ah”. quite a fan of adverbs, and uses “lol.” and “lmao.” completely unironically. very fond of terms of endearment, darling.

teddy - gosh!! :D just always excited about everything!! tends to squish words together, with lotsa love! never a darn swear (except for maybe sometimes, ssshhh), you is “ya” and little is “lil”.

cheese - Proper grammar, capitalization, and punctuation are all musts. He has the most simple and predictable typing style. Refers to younger people that he’s affectionate towards as “kid, son, mijo,” ect. 

young cheese - no fucking grammar, no fucking capitalization, and no punctuation except to make it seem like he’s yelling or to put a break between sentences!!!! but even then run on sentences happen just way too fucking much yknow? would be prone to using spanish on his blog if i knew more of it

kaede - Wow! Another pretty easy typing style to keep up with. Barely touches emotes, but loves putting exclamation points at the end of things for that little bit of emphasis!

jean - a lot of exclamation points!!!! and emotes like this --> ^____^ also fond of repetition and ellipses.... for dramatic effect. not very well developed yet, needs time. U_U 

izzy - good punctuation and grammar, loves to ironically end sentences with “lol” or “lmao”! slings “haha”s in there, but he’s never really laughing. curses for fucking emphasis, and likes to use silly sounding words to lessen the effects of any rootin’ tootin’ points he’s making. haha!
