Mentioned this before but I’m oh so in love with how Sonic and Shadow contrasts where they came from.

Sonic is free as the wind and one with the and stars despite coming from Earth.

Shadow is grounded by his past and one with the sea despite coming from space.

Sonic fears the sea.

Shadow fears the vast unknown (space as a metaphor).

It’s funny how the two will circle back to these places and how their paths will cross along the way. Dark comes into the light and light comes into the dark, what an interesting coincidence.

I'm not sure why but one of the things that bothered me the most after reading orv for the first time is kim dokja's "favorite food"

like...why would his favorite food be something that doesn't even exist on earth, something that he's never even tasted before (edit: just remembered he ate the dumplings with Master<-the dog..) and also JUST so happens to be yjh's favorite too.

After finding out kim dokja's real favorite food, I thought he just wanted to be included with the kkomas and wanted to impress them. "Murim dumplings with chicken broth" <- he REALLY had to add the "with chicken broth" didn't he (he wants to be different so bad smh.)

Or maybe he just didn't know what his favorite food was and decided to take yjh's
