@sweetlytempests​ it’s not that they’re biased towards IR, it’s that there was a set of databooks (SOULs & VIBEs) released forever ago with Ichigo on one cover and Rukia on the other and this is where the “black sun white moon” thing comes from because it was a set. But people acted as if this had any bearing on canon when in reality it was done to market the books as a pair. Kubo did the same thing later with a databook set featuring Shinji and Ulquiorra. at this point, “black sun white moon” is jerked around so often by IRs without any context or legitimate follow up (it’s literally like supposed to be their trump card ig??? like their conversation ender??? lmao) that its lost any meaning it actually had gkdsfjgldk IRs sabotaging their own existence you love to see it

Something I'd like to tell Larries who use Larry has a form of escapism/a coping mechanism to deal with anxiety: I was the same way. To me shipping them and obsessing over them was a way for me to keep myself happy and preoccupied and it worked for a while, but lemme tell you; it's so much easier now to enjoy 1D and enjoy Larry as just a ship without the constant stress of having to question everything and fit pieces of a puzzle that are never going to fit because there is no puzzle, (1/2)

there is no mystery to solve. I guaranteed you, you will have so much more fun in this fandom and such a better experience if you let go of the need to believe in Larry beyond all rhyme or reason. It'll get so much better, I promise you. (2/2)
