The ornate envelope sat on your kitchen counter, the gold-embossed lettering practically screaming pretension. Your high school bully, Kara, had sent you a wedding invitation. Not out of kindness, you knew. This was her way of rubbing her "perfect life" in your face.

The thought alone churned your stomach, but when Takumi Aldini, your boyfriend, walked in holding two mugs of coffee, your perspective began to shift.

“What’s that?” Takumi asked, placing your favorite mug in front of you.

You sighed, sliding the invitation toward him. “It’s from Kara. My high school bully. She’s getting married and probably wants to show off.”

Takumi raised an eyebrow, reading the invitation. “Why would you even consider going?”

You smirked, an idea forming in your mind. “Oh, I’m going. But not to sulk. If she wants to show off, let’s give her a show of our own.”

Takumi tilted his head, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “A show, huh? Count me in.”

THE WEDDING DAY

The venue was extravagantly decorated, all crystal chandeliers and towering floral arrangements. Guests mingled in designer outfits, the air thick with artificial pleasantries. You stepped through the grand entrance, your arm looped through Takumi’s, both of you dressed to the nines.

You wore a sleek, custom-made gown adorned with jewelry from your own collection—delicate, glittering pieces that whispered elegance and screamed success. Takumi was no less impressive in his tailored suit, his golden hair perfectly styled, his confident demeanor turning heads.

Kara’s laughter echoed across the room as she entertained a group of guests, but the moment her eyes landed on you and Takumi, her smile faltered. She quickly recovered, striding toward you with an exaggerated air of friendliness.

“Y/N!” she exclaimed, her voice dripping with fake sweetness. “I didn’t think you’d make it!”

You returned her smile, equally saccharine. “How could I miss such a special day?”

Her eyes flickered to Takumi, who gave her a polite nod. “And who is this?”

“Oh, this is my boyfriend, Takumi Aldini,” you said casually. “You might have heard of him—he’s a world-renowned chef.”

Takumi extended his hand, his charming Italian accent making every word sound like velvet. “It’s a pleasure to meet you. Congratulations on your wedding.”

Kara shook his hand, visibly rattled. “Thank you. I didn’t realize Y/N was dating someone so... accomplished.”

You chuckled. “Well, we’ve both been quite busy. I’ve been traveling a lot for my jewelry line—our latest collection just launched internationally.”

Kara’s face twitched, but before she could respond, a guest approached, gushing over Takumi and asking for a photo. As the guest dragged him away, you turned back to Kara, who was clearly struggling to maintain her composure.

“It’s funny,” you said, your tone light but pointed. “Back in high school, you always said I’d never amount to anything. Yet here we are.”

Kara’s smile was strained. “Well, I suppose people can surprise you.”

“Oh, absolutely,” you replied, your eyes gleaming. “Just like how life has a funny way of turning out better than you ever imagined.”

When it was time for dinner, Takumi couldn’t resist sampling the food, offering you playful commentary under his breath.

“This risotto,” he whispered, leaning close, “is an insult to Italian cuisine. I could make a better one blindfolded.”

You stifled a laugh, the warmth of his presence making the entire evening bearable—dare you say, even enjoyable.

By the time you left, hand in hand with Takumi, you felt lighter. The evening, once a looming specter of dread, had turned into a sweet victory.

“How do you feel?” Takumi asked as you walked to the car, his thumb brushing over your knuckles.

You smiled up at him, the crisp night air filling your lungs. “Like I just reclaimed a part of myself. And it’s all thanks to you.”

He stopped, turning to face you. “You didn’t need me to prove anything. You’ve always been incredible, Y/N. I’m just lucky I get to be by your side.”

Your heart swelled as he leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. In that moment, you realized that Kara’s opinion—or anyone else’s—didn’t matter.

- Suchol’s first name “Sucholatee” means beautiful sea and his last name “Thipchalalai” means the angel’s ocean✨

- Suchol is based off of another famous literature piece (famous as in it has been in plays for countless of times- like Romeo and Juliet💀) called Phra Apai Manee (พระอภัยมณี) and he’s based on a character named Sudsakorn! The story is a bout Sudsakon, a half mer half human boy, goes on a journey to find his father.

- Spoiler alert: tbh his father is lowley a piece of shit based on what I remember😭 He has a lot of wives (at that time having many wives is a power status, and he’s a king) and he fell in love with a mermaid who is Sudsakorn’s mother. THEN HE LEAVES SO THAT’S WHY SUDSAKORN GREW UP TO LOOK FOR HIM. The dad’s also the protagonist of the story (his name is on the title) but I’m purely writing this out of memory because so many things happened in the story and I have to go reread it again. The dad left for some “duties” but got a new wife along the journey like bruh🗿

- Back to Suchol though, his horse Nhil (or should I say his unique magic👀) is based off of the horse dragon in the literature piece! The horse dragon is a wild animal, and its strength even rivals yakshas. But Sudsakorn decided that no☝️you are my friend and I will treat you like you’re some stray cat on the street☝️ and that’s how Sudsakorn got his mount HSJDJUJSUJDU

- To elaborate further on his Unique magic, it’s kind of like Kalim’s magic carpet. The magic carpet is a replica of the original one, and Suchol’s horse dragon ability is a replica of the extinct animal🫶✨

- Sucholatee Thipchalalai or Suchol for short, is an aspiring and dutiful young half-mer of Royal sword Academy- sorry that was a lie, he’s actually a trouble maker. Don’t let his pretty face fool you!

- Oh, he’d stir up trouble and pranks everywhere. Like dude, how’d you get here in this academy of all places?? You sure you’re not from NRC? You didn’t snuck in here did you?

- Aside from his infamous tricks and such at the academy, he’s quite a sweetheart to his family; his single mother who is a mermaid, and his surrogate father who is an old man next door.

- Growing up on an island with fairytales and stories being told to him constantly, he grew up to believe it is all true. That is to say, he’s the type to believe that Santa Claus is real (and he still does please don’t break the news to him🙏)

- Suchol was a young prodigy due to the mysterious ways his surrogate father taught him magic. It ranges from animal linguistics to ancient magic! That said, he doesn’t find a need to study and still gets good grades. Lucky bastard🙄 /lh

- The general rule of hanging out with Suchol is to NEVER mention Charin. Ever. Not because he hates the yaksha, it’s more like Suchol sees him as his idol. Charin was the older brother Suchol never had. The red eye shadow he wears is proof that he wants to grow up to be just like Charin!

- Suchol is the type of guy who says the most mind boggling, crazy, unbelievable thing ever but it turns out to be true.

- “My dad is a king from a far away land!” Yeah sure buddy 🤥 (it’s actually true)

- But hey, being a bad boy and a trickster aside, having a friend like Suchol is like a breath of fresh air. He’ll drag you to fun fairs and games, making sure you having the time of your life is his priority.

- One of his best qualities (maybe the only one /j im kidding) is honesty. Suchol finds it difficult to lie. While he wouldn’t be blunt about it (*cough* Mathura *cough*), he still makes sure to be honest without hurting anyone’s feelings.

- So what do you say? You don’t wanna miss out on one of the best rides of your life, right? Suchol can’t wait to show off his new friend his legendary horse!

Here’s my little spin on inbox trick or treating with an added game of chance!! 🧡💜💚 I made two wheels of autumn/halloween fluff/smut scenarios to give as a treat for anyone that comes trick or treating to my inbox!! These scenarios will be catered to your favorite characters in lots of seasonal scenarios!! 🎃🧡

So what is it exactly? Instead of handing out candies on Halloween, I’ll be handing out a tiny one/two sentence scenario with your chosen character(s). These scenarios will be chosen by fate!! a.k.a. the spooky season wheels 🧡💜💚

Here’s how it works:

In my inbox, send me a character of your choosing (can be any marvel character, any fictional sebastian stan character or any fictional chris evans character). This is to keep it on theme with my blog. 🧡💜💚 Since I don’t know how many trick or treaters I’ll get in my inbox, please only come trick or treating once or twice and keep it to one or two characters thanks!! 💜

i enjoy reading, but have been in quite a stump as of recently! favorite book: the perks of being a wallflower (book recommendations would be epic btw). i love writing as well, (if me making a blog to write doesn’t make that clear enough), i just love indulging into the world of fiction and glory

i adore films and shows, as i am a true cinephile at heart. the highlight of my day is finishing a movie, and then getting to review it on letterbox’d. despite this admiration for the craft of filmmaking, i have so much to watch! yet here are my top picks from what ive seen so far: everything everywhere all at once, fantastic mr fox, me and earl and the dying girl, little miss sunshine, i saw the tv glow, hunt for the wilder people. for shows: boy meets world, over the garden wall, the good place, and the umbrella academy

arts and crafts! ive dipped my toes into a many, but i mostly crochet, sew, do clay work, and draw (digitally and traditionally). I’ve cycled through like a hundred different crafts, so i own so much shit lol (kinda handy)

- 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝗺𝐲: The ability to manipulate a large amount of individuals (specifically an army) at once to turn viciously attack their own. This ability can only be activated when Mathura uses a special flute. The drawback to this ability is unknown, possibly minor fatigue.

- 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧: Warriors are adorned with talisman (tattoos) , giving wearers resistance to black magic and blot. And also some resistance to normal physical damage (ex. a normal blade, a bullet)

- 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠: A skill obtained from battles near and/or in the sea, Mathura is able to breathe underwater.

- Mathura is based on the Ramakien character Maiyarap (ไมยราพ)! Maiyarap is a violent yaksha with light purple skin, and is a dangerous warrior who later on died by the hands of Hanuman.

- It took me painful hours to come up with his Unique Magic name, and I even had help from my sister😭 So the name is not the best, I know </3

- Maiyarap had two abilities, one is to make an entire army to fall asleep by his flute, and second is to turn invisible👁️👁️. I wanted something along those lines for Mathura, but I realized that the original ability is similar to Malleus’s.

- I really, really like the name “Maiyarap” and initially wanted to use that name but I decided not to because Mathura is based on him, not a carbon copy of him.

- The rose carving on his earring symbolizes the flowers on a dancer’s crown (ชฎา), which also means that Mathura does dancing in his free time!

- Mathura’s purple hair is purely based on the fact that Maiyarap had purple skin✨

- Unfortunately, Mathura is usually in the deep sea so he is technically considered an NPC. But I can promise that there will be appearances of him in my big project (regarding the mysterious oc of mine 👀)

- Not so fun fact, I redrew him 3-4 times. Those were not happy times at all. I suddenly forgot how to draw old men and I struggled SO bad.

- Mathura is dressed like the uncle next door (for those SEA fans out there, yes he’s only clad in a towel wrapped around his hips) but tbh his age would make him more like a great great great great great great great grandpa next door-

- Mathura Atthakornmetha was the general of Attidaya (East of Scalding Sands) for centuries until he was exiled to the deep sea due to treason.

- The deep sea in Attidaya is home to sea dragons known as naga, and Mathura has made one his own pet named Nham!

- As his surname suggests, he is Anan’s uncle! However, they have only met on several occasions, and Anan was still a child in those times.
