To warmly celebrate the release of Fujii Kaze's third album and his 28th birthday, Kazetarians from mainland China have organized this fan project! On June 14th, within a 24-hour relay, we will be posting a variety of fan-created birthday content—including illustrations, articles, covers (vocal/instrumental/dance), reviews, video edits, and more—across various social media platforms. The main platforms will be Xiaohongshu（Rednote）and Weibo, with surprise drops on others as well.

We hope to join hands with all of you to present this one-of-a-kind birthday gift to Kaze! Let’s meet next month and make it unforgettable!

This illustration is based on Nausicaä. I think she’s the strongest and bravest Ghibli character. Years ago, when I read the manga, I wanted to become like her. She’s kind, brave, and independent; she’s an idea that has transcended this world. But now I realize she’s also the loneliest Ghibli character.

She’s also the character who loses the most: her father, her village, the Ohmu, Lord Yupa, Teto, and her adoptive child, the Giant God Warrior. And she has to put aside all her sorrow and move on because the whole world relies on her. ❤️‍🩹 The weight she carries on her shoulders is way too heavy. I hope she finds happiness.🥺

From Silk Worms to Scarves: Inside the Historic Farmhouses of Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba

This farmhouse stands as the epitome of a traditional Japanese rural dwelling, characterized by its iconic thatched roof and adorned with a few unique features tailored for silk production.

A defining trait of many restored farmhouses in the Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba open-air museum is their incorporation of second-floor windows. These windows play a pivotal role in regulating airflow, light, and temperature, essential for the cultivation of silkworms. This industry was central to the village's existence, tracing back to the Edo Period (1603-1867).

The houses in this village used a distinctive thatched roof design, known as kabuto-zukuri (兜造り), owes its origin to the necessities of sericulture. The name, kabuto-zukuri, translates to "helmet structure,” and derives from the roof's resemblance to the helmet worn by samurai warriors.

《無頭照片 headless photo》 LOL

其實，你很難想像現在如此喜愛自拍的我，曾經有約莫10年的光景我並不愛在網路上留影，因為做生意的關係，當時有網路商店，有時自己在展售衣物配件的相片，我都會刻意把所有照片的頭切斷後(如同這張相片一樣) lol 才上傳相片在網路商店。

我不喜歡走在街上或是旅行時被人認出是我或是被路人叫出名字或是我的店名，全都使我會感到特別的不自在和害羞，我喜愛低調的���著屬於自己的生活，所以其實我不應該當藝術家的，這相當矛盾，也違背我的本性。

因此人的某部分會轉變，肯定是有著巨大的力量牽引著你必須做出改變，並且你知道改變會給你新的能量。

In fact, it's hard to imagine that I love taking selfies so much now. There used to be a period of about 10 years when I didn't like taking photos online. Because of business, there was an online store at that time, and sometimes I would display photos of clothing accessories, I will deliberately cut off the heads of all photos (like this photo) lol before uploading the photos to the online store.

I don't like to be recognized when walking on the street or when traveling, or to be called by my name or the name of my store by passers-by. All of these make me feel particularly uncomfortable and shy. I like to live a low-key life by myself, so actually I shouldn't be an artist. This is quite contradictory and goes against my nature.

Therefore, some part of a person will change. There must be a huge force pulling you to make changes, and you know that changes will give you new energy in the life.

We’re currently collecting birthday letters, and all Kazetarians are welcome to submit!

You can write under your real name or anonymously, in any language. Feel free to share anything you'd like to say to Kaze — birthday wishes, your personal thoughts or feelings (repo), your hopes for the 3rd album or the Asia tour... anything goes!

It’s like a digital message board — you can write messages, add drawings, doodles, or just type your words directly!

All submissions will be gathered and featured during the final relay post at 23:30 CST (China Standard Time). Everything will be compiled and presented as an image or video (or possibly both).

We've prepared two template backgrounds. Feel free to use, crop, or modify them, or use your own design if you prefer!

Video submissions are also very welcome — especially if you'd like to show up on screen or record a voice message!
