Oversharing because I have no personal privacy boundaries

Being queer is so fucking confusing sometimes. Like I’m dating (as in going on dates, not in a relationship with) this guy, who is perfect for me, however I’m still so confused about the extent to which I like men. Because I know for a fact that I like women, like LOVE me a woman, but I’m confused about my level of attraction for men. Because I am attracted to them, but not nearly as much as women. And I’m not sure if I like them enough to be in a sustained relationship. I’m very confused, conflicted, mentally tangled up 🤔.

It’s not as simple as “You’re a lesbian,” or “You just like women,” because I’m not sure if that’s actually true… or if it is? It would make things easier if that were the case. I feel like I’m still a teenager trying to understand my own emotions, like girl you finished going through puberty years ago, PLEASE ✋😭.

Anyway, thought I’d share because it’s pride month and I know I feel validated when other people share similar experiences to mine so here we are. It’s okay to be confused! Sexuality is complicated and fluid and sometimes you just need to go along for the ride and take the time to figure out where you’re at. Happy pride! 🏳️‍🌈
