#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#jin guangyao#wei wuxian#jiang cheng#I absolutely love the contrast between JGY and JGS in this scene.#While JGS is acting as an instagator and trying to fan the flames of discontent (pulling his devious (g) strings)#JGY tries to keep a fairly neutral stance. If anything he reads like someone who's attempting to chair an unruly group project.#Honestly I think this scene does so much to show us why JGY manages to become the respectable leader he does in the future.#He's actully good at leading discussions and doesn't rise to bait. He's trying to start a productive discussion with *real facts*.#There is genuine honour in his approach and he never jumps into the emotional bandwagon.#The issue at the moment is that he doesn't have same level of authority as the contrastively *worst* sect leader does.#Jin Guangshan has a very specific agenda - to gain power by throwing anyone he deems expendable into the gutter.#The story even explicitly calls him out on not being so different from Wen Rohan multiple times.#The insidious part is that he's surrounded by people who think this is all justified.#It's all about using the 'victim' narrative to leverage justification. Which I'll get into more in upcoming comics.#(cut off text in panel one is supposed to be 'dead girls walking' but I ran out of room to make that clear. whoops!)

He's so deep into his role as a pawn he thinks he might have a chance of being someone bigger in this game.#He does play a key role but he's never actually out of anyone's shadow! That's brutal!#JGY's manipulation games are always so fun to see in action. His words are his weapon!#He's getting verbally kicked around only to have someone acknowledge his achievements! Just like how NMJ did for JGY.#He is a master of honeyed words and gentle appreciations. His instrument is *your* heartstrings.#He might see himself in Su She; They both feel under valued and hungry for more importance -#-but it's also a means for JGY to know how to pull his strings.#(IN THIS MOMENT. I very much realize he does come to care for him later on.)#It is also funny how much his powerplays involve sweet talking men. Where did he learn that from?#(Most likely the brothels he grew up in. Catswing tells a chunk of Spamton and Tenna's story and I love it
#deltarune#everyone's like joke fight blah blah#but there's so much story in this music piece? it's great#spamton's part is so shady and tenna's upbeat and funky#spamton starts solo but tenna starts along with HEY EVERY#and in the extensions of the motifs - the sax is actually so emotional#there's so much anticipation in it of something good (like a promise!) but also of something bad#this whole theme feels pretty much like “repeat of the story”#(I'll add to this that to me Tenna's finale was so similar to Spamton NEO's that I KNEW what was going to happen)#so it literally repeats#HEY EVERY itself just repeats and repeats#music nerd stuff#blah blah mr Fox knows how to music#who the hell is Mike I'm so intrigued#(I'm gonna throw it out there and say Mike is the game's script)#((he pulls <the strings>))#next thing we know mike's gonna tell asgore there'a a way to get toriel back and that's chapter 5 for ya#tenna thinks spamton left - spamton thinks tenna stole his place but really mike just finished his business with spamton#I'm guessing spam did something he wasn't supposed to - just like tenna did at the end of CH3
