It's entirely possible he was bigoted against Italians in the decade 2010, he was a bigot about a lot of things.

Extremely gratifying to get peer review comments where a) they were really nice about my article and b) almost everything they recommended I cite or discuss was something I had originally cited/discussed but had cut for length, or had in my notes but hadn't included (for length), including three things I have previously cited in other articles on related topics. (There was one recommendation that was new to me, though, and sounds very interesting.)

Very nice to know I was on the right track, but I did have to email the editor back and ask if it was okay if the article got a bit longer, because the thing about cutting things for length is that putting them back in means, well, increasing the length.

Anyway! Hopefully a step closer to you getting to read my shared grave / sworn brotherhood / 'it's not that friendship is marriage it's that marriage is friendship' article!

🎪 I know some people still hold on to this story and despite the long hiatus, I'm grateful for those who kept tabs on me for all this time. I know it may not seem much, but Alastor's early motivation was something I wanted to acknowledge and Lucius' Dancing Devil's Circus is a big part of him. As for the next update, while not as big, it'll be all about how these two formally met! A lot lighter in tune, so it should be easier for me to draw. But the tone for this comic is just a taste of what I really have in mind for my AU, so I hope you'll remain patient with me as regardless of whether this gets received well or not, I will still continue my story as it is as much for me as it is for all of you. saw people designing tma fear-sonas, so i made my own! Echo is an avatar of the vast/lonely.

they started out as a hopeless romantic but then got disappointed in people and turned to the vast and the lonely. their obsession with the vast also feeds the lonely and isolates them further. and then their tortures are a mix of existential crisis and being cut off from others. like leaving people next to some random ass star or something??

i also like to think they now see humanity as suffocating and vast spaces as the opposite, so they literally go to "take a breath" underwater or in a vacuum or while falling or something and see it as freeing
