my actual hottest kingdom hearts hot take is that the names of the Heartless and Nobodies are not actually confusing and the people who complain of them being nonsensical are either 1) deliberately being obtuse to further drive the point that the series is needlessly confusing or 2) on the receiving end of someone else dumping a whole bunch of kh information on them all at once with no time to process anything.
The way it works when playing through the series, you have two full games to get used to the concept of Heartless (one is Chain of Memories but even with just kh1 you WILL know what a heartless is). They're the little shadow creatures with glowing yellow eyes. Nonzero chance that the person playing the game has seen before this as well; their appearance is (relatively) iconic.
Nobodies you will only start seeing in kh2 (the few cheeky references in Chain of Memories don't count) and by then you'll have it down and easily be able to rearrange your knowledge to accommodate them.
"why are they called heartless if they're made of hearts and nobodies if they're made of bodies" it's simple. Heartless are named because the name is cool as fuck and the guy who named them in-universe saw that they were the byproduct of a heart collapsing- he didn't know about Nobodies either (aka what actually happens to the body) and just concluded that's what happens to someone who lost their heart, not that the heart itself became the Heartless. They display “no emotion because they act only on the instinct of hunger— they behave “heartlessly” (cruel and without consideration or compassion for what they’re destroying).
And Nobodies? This is REALLY where the "deliberately obtuse" comes in. If kingdom hearts really called a creature without a body a "No-body" to describe how it has no body I think it would be mocked even more. No, they're named after the dictionary definition of the noun: one who is of no significance, a person none care about living on the fringes.
We actually get it all directly from Xehanort in the Ansem Reports. He named them both. Here's Ansem Report 3:
The shadows that crawl beneath the castle... Are they the people who lost their hearts, or incarnations of darkness? Or something entirely beyond my imagination? All my knowledge has provided no answer. One thing I am sure of is that they are entirely devoid of emotion. Perhaps further study will unlock the mysteries of the heart. Fortunately, there is no shortage of test samples. They are multiplying underground even as I write this report. They still need a name. Those who lack hearts... I will call them the Heartless.
And here's Ansem Report 13 (the one you get for defeating Xemnas in Final Mix):
Where does the body go when it separates from the heart? If the soul remains within the body, is it still considered to be deceased? When the heart returns to the Heartless, the physical form disappears. But that is merely true in this world. Perhaps the body exists in another form in another world. If that is the case, then it is possible for one to exist in two worlds. A being that is neither darkness nor light; belonging nowhere; abandoned by its heart; a mere shell of its former self. The relation between the heart and body is complex. However, I am certain that if your self exists here, then by definition, the other cannot truly "exist." The other, the one which does not exist, shall be dubbed, "Nobody."
And this isn't name lore cobbled together after the fact like Mickey having to lose his shirt in 0.2 Fragmentary Passage to explain why he has none in kh1; the Heartless name lore was in the game when it came out, and the Nobody name lore was the introduction to Nobodies as a concept (for anyone who could beat The Unknown at least lmao).

Darkness was an endless thing. It consumed all and devoured the hearts of the weak. And even people can become heartless. Beings of darkness that devour and make more of themselves.
One such person was not just Xehanort. But Magnus. His eyes were yellow. Dressed in fine clothes almost simular to the older man's. He looked over the old man with a deep smirk. He's felt his power before. Sensed it in the darkness. And such a thing was something he rarely felt. He could feel the darkness eminate off of him like a geyser. His smile grew.
"I've felt that darkness before. Controlling. Dominant. How addictively alluring~" the man hummed as he stepped through the darkness. Nothing from a portal but from the shadows themselves. Forming from what was once a flat shadow into a physical form. His nails were sharp. And tattooed on his chest much like Ansem. A heartless insignia that shown brightly in the cadle light.
"Its almost like a perfume.." he took a deep collective breath and exhaled slowly." Sickeningly sweet~"
At first, he didn't expect it.
But the shadows around him were haunting that evening, trying to nibble at him. Why? He was but a master of darkness; what was so .. foreboding? A shiver went up his spine. Something certainly didn't feel right. There. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the shadows form into a being, and he shot out his arm to the right, and let his keyblade shimmer into existence.
Sharp, but aged embers raked across the heartless' form, and they eventually just stared at the symbol on the male's chest.
"A heartless..'' he muttered, eyes snapping up to the other's face finally. Much like my own - how intriguing.
''.. but of course. One has to remain strong in order to survive,'' he said smoothly, edges of a condescending air to his words though.
''It seems you were quite .. unfortunate. Or tell me, have you purposefully fallen?" He remained at a distance. His keyblade was gripped tightly, waiting for an opportunity. Just because he had his own heartless, didn't mean that he could trust another Heartless. The darkness was volatile, afterall.

Wait………isn’t sora or in kh sora turn into a pure blood heartless, if so he wouldn’t be having that kind of emblem because that shown in artificial heart less that ansem created
Unless I miss and forgotten something
Right you are, but personally I find the distinction between pureblood heartless and artificial heartless to be kinda shaky!
Emblem heartless are the only ones capable of releasing hearts, seemingly implying they're the ones made from hearts while pureblood Heartless are born from darkness itself. Heartless were given that name for a reason after all! Shadows and Darksides are seemingly born from the realm of darkness itself, but they're also said to be born from the darkness within people's hearts. Even the first game states that emblem heartless are artificial, and yet one of the first scenes you get that establishes Heartless as a threat shows a man's heart floating away before a Soldier forms around it! The wiki pages writes this off as the heartless stealing his heart, and maybe that's what it was meant to be, but it really looks like the heart turned into an emblem heartless to me. Heck, in kh3 Mother Gothel gets turned into an emblem heartless when she dies, and so does Hanz!
For simplicity's sake in this au, I'm just saying that the emblem is something that represents ALL Heartless, but some just don't have emblems for one reason or another. Invisibles, for example, have the same heart shaped hole that Darksides have, thus even if they are formed from a heart instead of pure darkness then they don't need an emblem. With this in mind, since Sora is formed from his own unshackled Heart, he's got an emblem like Ansem SOD, but when he goes into antiform or tiny shadow mode his darkness is taking hold temporarily and overshadows that semblance of humanity. This is also how I explain away the friendly Heartless like White Mushrooms and Flaan, by the way; Emblem Heartless are acting out of emotion and instinct instead of logic and some of them are just sweet little guys at heart!
This headcanon/au change also ties into why Roxas has an emblem despite being one of the more human looking Nobodies. Also, in this au Nobodies aren't THAT rare, but what is rare is a nobody retaining their human appearance out of sheer strength or willpower, but otherwise if someone creates a Heartless they also make a Nobody too. There's a lot of headcanons and reinterpretations going on in this au tbh! Sometimes you just have to rewrite things a little <3

I've been dealing with KH brainrot lately and, lacking for other things to do, decided to make a masterpost of all potential evidence pointing to Vanitas (who's one of my favorite characters) making a comeback in KH4.
The first indication that Vanitas could reappear in the future comes in Dream Drop Distance, which implies that he found his way into Sora's heart at the end of Birth by Sleep, much like Ven did. Let me explain.
Xehanort's entire plan in DDD is based on Sora having the whole Heart Hotel thing going on. During his encounter with Sora in La Cité des Cloches, Young Xehanort outright proclaims:
"You are the one who has made your heart a prison. [...] Even if you are not the prisoner."
While it may seem that he's just talking about Ven, Xion, and Roxas here, that notion is contradicted at the end of the game when Riku meets with Data-Ansem the Wise, who says this:
"And some of those hearts never left him- whether they fell into darkness or were trapped there- whether they sleep in the darkness of Sora's heart, or were welcomed into its warmth- they can be saved."
Ven, Xion, and Roxas are all shown to be in a recreation of Destiny Islands - the light of Sora's heart. They can't be who Data-Ansem is talking about here. The only person who can be inside the darkness of Sora's heart is Vanitas.
Vanitas's final scene in KH3 adds to this, where he has this exchange with Sora after being defeated.
Sora: Then why won't you stand by our side? Instead of with darkness? Vanitas: Because I am darkness. And I do stand by your side. I'm the shadow that you cast. How much closer could I be?
This exchange takes on a whole new level once you take Rage Form into account, where Sora becomes consumed with anger (remember that the Unversed are basically Vanitas's negative emotions given physical form), uses darkness-based attacks and the same fighting stance as Vanitas, and doesn't cast a shadow.
Neither does KH2's Anti Form, for that matter. Although Nomura said in an interview that Rage Form and Anti Form are based on separate concepts (Anti is Sora "being completely stained in darkness" while Rage is him "going into a rampage state, controlled by feelings of anger"), I still find the connection notable. Mainly because KH2's Drive Forms are symbolic of a bond Sora has (Valor = Goofy, Wisdom = Donald, Limit = Kairi, and Master = Mickey) but have to be activated manually. That is, except for the two that activate randomly - Final (which is a reward for beating Roxas and thus represents him) and Anti, which Sora has from the very beginning.
Also from KH3 is the chess match between Eraqus and Xehanort. Looking at the board, you can see two versions of the piece that represents Vanitas - one that's still on the board and another that has been captured by Eraqus. Take a look.
Tumblr media
Even though it's not strictly canon, there's a passage from BBS's light novel that I want to include. In it, Vanitas is enveloped in the same light that Ven is, the light that brings him to Sora's heart.
"Light arose from the spot where Vanitas had disappeared. It flared, then blanketed Ven's body as well. It was soft and tender. Radiant and whole. Is it over...? Wrapped in this strong, benevolent light, Ven descended into the darkness. I know this place - it's so familiar. This...is your heart."
I know, I know - the light novels aren't canon. However, the BBS novel depicts Vanitas in a far more sympathetic and tragic light than in the original game, which his latest appearance in the games, Dark Road, leans slightly more towards. In it, he disobeys Xehanort's order to stay in the Keyblade Graveyard out of concern for/curiosity regarding Ven's condition post-split and becomes scared after Xehanort threatens him.
The scene also reveals that Xehanort suspected that Vanitas is one of the Willful Darknesses and was never part of Ven, instead being a separate entity that was merely hiding inside him. That being said, this goes against a previous reveal in the game, which establishes that, if someone keeps foreign darkness inside them long enough, it will become a permanent part of them. As Baldr's darkness puts it:
"Are you sure you want to do that? We're one now. If I disappear, he will too."
While Ven's own heart and the Willful Darkness inside him may have been separate, they likely weren't by the time of Vanitas's birth - explaining both Vanitas's ability to feel some of Ven's emotions and how the whole thing almost killed Ven. It wasn't the surgical removal of a parasite, it was a limb being ripped off.
Of course, the connection is still an important one that, given KH's explorations of personhood, individuality, and identity, will likely be explored further. (Especially since Strelitzia is most likely going to be a major character in KH4.) Also, while Vanitas says that he was never a part of Ven in Re Mind, he only does so after Ven shot down them being brothers in favor of them being the "same"... which he doesn't take well.
There's a few more things I want to go over before ending. First, "Heroes and Heroines: Characters' Medley" is a medley combining the leitmotifs for the main protagonists of the series before ending with, of all songs, Vanitas's boss theme.
As part of the celebrations for the franchise's 20th anniversary, a special artwork was released. In it, characters that are connected are grouped together. At the bottom left, we have reformed antagonists. The Seekers of Darkness's traitor trio (Isa, Even, and Demyx) is there, as is Ienzo. However, there's one outlier:

anyways my most insane kh headcanon that completely contradicts canon but i think i should be right (i get one) is that roxas was not actually made at the same time and because of the same event as namine, but at the *beginning* of kh1 where destiny island was destroyed. walk with me here.
riku holding out his hand to sora, dragging them both into the darkness. riku disappears and, suddenly, in a flash of light, sora is completely fine and given the keyblade.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
shortly after, he finds kairi, who says his name sadly and falls into him, incorporeal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
we dont really know exactly why or how kairi lost her heart, only that it did and found its way into sora
the sequence where destiny islands is destroyed is abstract in a very
enjoyable way, and while the events in it dont *need* to be explained, but here's my pitch. sora lost his heart to the darkness and it was ejected from his body at this event, and kairi's heart leaving her body was specifically to save sora from being lost, on some conscious level or not
to me, this would clear up how kairi is able to heal sora from his shadow form later. itd basically be the same thing she was doing this entire time.
i feel like this would also clear up why sora doesnt experience a marked change in power or personality right after he recovers from being a shadow (in an in-universe sense, out of universe its because of gameplay reasons and also roxas was not.. a concept yet) as he wouldnt have had his body the whole time. this also means sora would have been a heartless the whole goddamn time just like ansem which tickles me. i feel like it gives kairi the tiniest extra bump of agency in choosing, in some way, to help sora too, instead of losing her heart for arbritary reasons. anyways thank you

sighs...ansem was alone for like. 70+ years. i feel like even a relative loner like him must have been wanting for company.
anyway i headcanon him as taking a lot of strolls amongst the populace of various worlds in his potato sack form before eventually destroying them. just some mysterious, formless man. he's become a legend or cryptid in numerous societies because of it. the robed figure who shows up, watching in the corner of a busy market, or perched upon a parapet, or deep in the back of an opera house. he speaks in your head. you don't think he has a mouth.
and then shortly after, things start going...wrong. people disappearing. yellow eyes flickering in the shadows of the forest that don't seem like any animal you've ever seen. a deep chill in your bones despite the sunny day. something isn't right.

Okay so, given that Pureblood Heartless apparently don't usually cast shadows (if KH Wiki is to be believed), while Emblem Heartless do, then we can infer that "Ansem" Seeker of Darkness was actually an Emblem Heartless this entire time, as he casts a shadow in his "robed" form, BEFORE he possesses a physical body.
oh that’s neat!! Ansem does have an emblem but it’s interesting to know that it goes all the way back to his robed form too. I couldn’t remember off the top of my head if the robed form cast a shadow or not

Likes: Retro technology, Alien franchise, KoRn and Slipknot
Dislikes: Lightning storms, swimming, lying/liars
long detailed information below the cut
Appearance:
Has the exact same face, skin-tone, and general hair shape as Sora. His hair has grown out to reach his mid-back. Vanitas has sharp canines and molars, perfect for shredding enemies and prey alike. His eyes are sunset orange and will occasionally shift to a deep red. His fingers are tipped with claws that are nearly as deadly as his fangs. (Design here)
He has two scars on his face. One over his lip and nose and another that travels up the center of his face caused by the breaking of his helmet during the Second Keyblade War.
Because of the training he endured under Xehanort, Vanitas’s body is quite muscular.
Under his darksuit, his body is covered in red cracks that stem from a break in his chest. This is where he was split off from Ventus, however due to his most recent return, the damage has spread to his entire upper body. These cracks will on occasion spread up to his face and pulse with a glowing red light, most prominent from the opening in his chest.
From his hands to his elbows, his arms are covered in a black gradient. He also has secondary vocal cords that allow him to speak the Ancient Language of Darkness.
Vanitas has no external or internal organs from the shoulders down. His body is like that of a mannequin, a mimicry of humans.
Clothing style (post-KH3)
He will usually wear his darksuit 24/7. He doesn’t like to show others how his body is breaking and will do anything in his power to prevent them from seeing it.
However, if you manage to get him to trust you enough, he will try other clothing options. More often than not, he will wear combat boots with a white tank top, leather jacket, and deep purple skirt. He will not be taking any recommendations or criticism. (design here)
Unhuman/Origin form
Vanitas’s truest form. The embodiment of endless hunger and a need to consume all, reflecting his origin as one of the True Thirteen Darknesses.
Origin form, the version of himself before taking on Ventus as a host (design here) is a very metallic bodied entity. The ring of eyes behind its head allow for tracking any enemies that might come up behind it. Its tail was made for slicing up adversaries and grabbing prey. The two extra limbs that extend from its stomach also help with hunting.
Unhuman (design here) is what Vanitas would look like without his human disguise after being torn from Ventus. Unlike the other True 13, whose forms take on aspects of the host, Vanitas is now without one. Unhuman instead takes on aspects of his Unversed instead.
Both forms are agile and lithe with the ability to run up to speeds of 220 MPH. They are about 5’ 9’’ and are surprisingly strong. Unhuman and Origin are smart creatures, but only Origin had the ability of human speech. Unhuman retains Vanitas’s feral nature, lashing out and attacking at anything that moves.
Unhuman is a slumbering beast within Vanitas that only activates as a response to danger or stress. Rarely does it emerge outside of events of extreme distress. This includes moments of hunger.
Age of Fairytales
When Darkness split itself into 13 shards, it designated each shard to be an embodiment of one aspect of itself. Vanitas and Xigbar started out as one unstable shard that was eventually split into two, rendering the two to have a deep familial connection to each other.
Vanitas was known among his kin as Consumption, Darkness’s need to endlessly consume all around him. With venomous saliva, Consumption was able to paralyze and stun smaller prey and numb the limbs of larger enemies.
When his kin started to take human hosts to blend in with human society, Consumption was the last to do so, leading to his older siblings like “Aced” and “Invi” to dub him the runt of the True Thirteen.
While hiding among the humans with his host, Consumption went by the name “Ventus”. He learned about family, friends, and other human-based relationships. “Ventus” became confused as all he had ever really known or cared about up until this point was survival and spreading the darkness. His kin explained that they were going to drown the world in an endless darkness so that they would live without fearing the light, but Consumption began to wonder if this was the best course of action.
Sensing his apprehensiveness, “Ava” and Luxu (later known as Xigbar) would assure him that when all is darkness, all is family and none of them would have to be alone from one another and Consumption’s endless hunger would cease to be.
Consumption liked this idea and followed along with his kin’s plans, leading to him murdering Strelitzia and influencing his host to go down an even darker path. During this moment, he would realize that the world they were in was a simulation of the real Daybreak Town and inform the others.
Consumption would be very content to leave his host behind and attack keywielders, leading to the loss of many lives as the Keyblade War raged on.
When landing in reality, Consumption hid within Ventus yet again, feeding on the darkness within his host’s heart to strengthen himself. This led to the two becoming connected as Consumption began to assimilate and try to take over Ventus’s body as his kin had done to the Foretellers.
Birth By Sleep
When separated from Ventus by Xehanort, Consumption went through a process called “Shattering” which involves breaking apart a True Darkness’s heart and reforming it. However, because Xehanort was not familiar or knowledgeable on this procedure, Consumption came back wrong, gaining the ability to shift his form, create Unversed, and take on other people’s emotions. This also severely disrupted his diet, forcing him to consume other creatures of darkness like Heartless and Nobodies in order to survive.
Given the name “Vanitas”, the True Darkness was able to turn his most powerful and trusted Unversed into a Keyblade. Void Gear also adapted the ability to transform alongside its Master.
Vanitas was beaten ruthlessly as a form of training by Master Xehanort. The abuse would only get worse once he learned of Vanitas being a True Darkness. Vanitas’s kin would turn a blind eye to such actions, claiming that it was for the best. If Vanitas could get the X-Blade, they could turn the world to darkness, which would stop the pain. Only Luxu (now known at this point in time as Braig) and Ava showed any sort of sympathy for him.
Vanitas would grow cold and jealous of Ventus and his friends, wishing he had what they had.
Because of his ability to sense other people’s emotions, Vanitas began to hate lying and those who did so. The way they said they felt didn’t match the reality, creating a jarring sensation within Vanitas as he tried to understand the truth.
When Vanitas lost the fight with his brother, Vanitas would go through another Shattering, which split off a large chunk of his heart and created the “Vanitas Remnant” that resides within the keyblade Graveyard.
Kingdom Hearts 3
Vanitas was able to regain some sort of consciousness through Xigbar piecing parts of his heart together. While he couldn’t fix Vanitas entirely, he was able to repair him just enough for Vanitas to use the negative emotions of others around him to fill in the gaps. Once Vanitas had a full physical form, he sent his Unversed to gather more of his strength.
During his time within the new Organization, Vanitas would learn that the True Thirteen were still going with their plan of using the X-Blade. However, this would require Vanitas and Xigbar to die for the cause. Xigbar was informed that he would escape at the last minute and meet the others in Quadratum. Vanitas was not.
Vanitas built up a small companionship with Xion and the Riku Replica, which the two “Sortas” (Vanitas’s nickname for those strongly related to Sora such as Roxas and Ventus) renamed Repliku to “Rei” instead, named after the character from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Because Xion spent most of her time with Saix, Rei and Vanitas were often alone playing Tic, Tac, Toe in their spare time.
After his attempt to fuse Ventus’s heart with his own, Xehanort resorted to punishing Vanitas in front of the rest of the Organization. He commanded Terra to strike Vanitas and sever his arm. Both Xehanort and Vanitas knew this would only be a temporary injury, as Vanitas could regrow and reattach limbs. However, due to his intense fear, the area where his arm connected together now forever has a criss-cross pattern. Vanitas learned that day that extreme fear can hinder self-healing.
Self-conscious over his new scar, Vanitas would scratch at his bicep whenever he was feeling intense negative emotions. In response, Rei tore off part of their skirt piece, creating a small fabric bandana, and wrapped it around the area to prevent Vanitas from accidentally harming himself (which Rei noticed Vanitas would sometimes do when in moments of extreme emotional distress)
Rei and Vanitas grew close, close enough to where Vanitas didn’t want his not-friend to go into battle and die. So, he took a part of his already fracturing heart and created a small rabbit-like Unversed to give to Rei to keep them safe. Rei dubbed the Unversed Scribbles and gave her a small bow. Vanitas disliked treating a monster like a pet but didn’t say anything. Whatever made Rei happy.
In his final moments of the Second Keyblade War, Vanitas felt regret. He didn’t believe he’d come back and experience the kinship, family, and friendship he truly craved. He’d only ever gotten small glimpses of the life he wanted. Vanitas would be content with being Darkness, but not with how he lived.
Three Years and then some
Somehow, someway, Vanitas managed to put himself back together. For a year and a half his body slipped between the Keyblade Graveyard and the Realm of Darkness, fluctuating on whether it remained in a solid form or that of a spirit. On occasion, his consciousness would even transfer to that of his Remnant that still remained in the Keyblade Graveyard. After a full year of not remaining in one place, Vanitas was finally able to exist within the Realm of Darkness.
Vanitas sent out call after call to his other kin and received no answer for six months while his body decayed. Xigbar found him on the seventh month and did everything in his power to help his brother. He moved Vanitas to the Keyblade Graveyard and concluded that Vanitas was going through a partial shatter. If he wasn’t put back together soon, he would need a host body in order to stay alive.
Xigbar explained to Vanitas that the others had heard his call, but chose to ignore it through the orders of Power (the shard residing within the Master of Masters). Vanitas was filled with rage, enough for him to push Xigbar away. He swore vengeance on the Foretellers and MoM for letting him be abused and killed multiple times over.
Along with his return, a small green Flood stuck by his side. He knew this was Scribbles and became distraught over the revelation of Rei’s death. While wandering the Keyblade Graveyard, he discovered Soul Eater, the weapon Rei used to wield. He now keeps Soul Eater by his side no matter what.
Because of Vanitas’s shattered heart, he can no longer call upon Void Gear, rendering it a “Dead Keyblade” (Keyblades that don’t respond to their wielder), nor can he create any new Unversed from other people’s emotions. This leads to frequent breakdowns and emotional overloads which trick his body into thinking it's in distress, and when in distress, Unhuman takes the reins.
Vanitas can no longer look in mirrors out of fear that he’s just becoming a copy of other people. He believes himself to be a tool, a monster, an animal that was just used by Xehanort and his kin. He stopped believing in “family” or “friends” like he used to and has returned to the survival mindspace. He’s lost his powers and his hopes but puts up a snarling face anyways. He doesn’t hide his claws or teeth like he used to and has long since thrown his helmet to the side, refusing to use it to shelter his face that isn’t really even his.
He has a few Unversed that were created from the deepest parts of himself (see them all here) but both hates and loves Scribbles the most. He hates her for not being able to keep Rei safe but loves her because she is Rei’s last living memory.
Xigbar is the only one out of the True Thirteen that still visits him, Ava having abandoned him. He doesn’t know where the remaining five are but does know that four are somewhere trapped within the simulated Daybreak Town. If he can find and free them before he takes revenge on the Foretellers, then so be it. He doesn’t care whether a rescue or a bloodbath comes first.
Because he is almost always in a constant state of distress from emotional overload, his body tends to tear itself apart and reform, bringing him extreme physical pain for days on end.
When he makes it to the other worlds, he attaches himself to technology and retro movies like Alien, The Thing, and others like it. He reads classics like Crime and Punishment and Watership Down.
He suffers from chronic pain that flares up mostly after extreme physical exercise.
Vanitas cannot sleep in a bed. It’s far too soft. He sleeps under beds, in closets, and other dark spaces. However, when he is sleeping, he needs to be surrounded by soft items like blankets or his ten million Xenomorph stuffed animals so that he can burrow beneath them and block out the light.
Because he is a mostly nocturnal creature, his eyesight worsens during the day, giving everything around him an orange hue to it. He will sleep for about six hours during the day and call it a “nap” but be fully awake at three am reading in the dark.
His affection and annoyance look alike. Meaning he bites. Hard.
If he trusts someone enough to let them touch him, he might just purr if they brush his hair or rub his back. He’s been starved of any good attention for his whole life.
He’s terrified of Terra.

Patient File: Xehanort
Tumblr media
This patient has been studied in three different environments, each one yielding fascinating results that reflect his complex psyche.
As a human: Xehanort was found critically injured and without any memory beyond his name by Ansem the Wise, the ruler of Radiant Garden and a brilliant scientific mind. Once recovered, Xehanort was appointed one of Ansem's apprentices in his scientific research and kingdom maintenance. The natural sense of fear and aimlessness that an amnesiac has coupled with the life debt he owed him made Xehanort attach himself to Ansem quite strongly, very quickly coming to view him as a father figure. As such, he threw himself into his work more fervently than even the other apprentices who had been there longer, displaying a natural inclination toward learning and absorbing knowledge in the process...perhaps a clue to his forgotten past.
When Ansem needed a test subject for his first psychological experiment to undergo research into the darkness of the human heart, Xehanort readily volunteered, hoping it might awaken some buried memories. Unfortunately, the darkness of Xehanort's heart was the shadow that Ansem cast upon him, a shadow he feared he'd never escape...that nothing he did would be enough to live up to his "father's" great legacy. The psychological experiments, combined with the frequent needling of one of Ansem's other apprentices, Braig, made Xehanort spiral into a dissociative episode where in private he began writing his own diary under the name of "Ansem".
It's at this point that Xehanort began to showcase a deep lack of empathy, as he persuaded his fellow apprentices to help him kidnap human test subjects for more experiments on the darkness of the heart, breaking their sense of self and turning them into Heartless. The more this inhumane research progressed, the further Xehanort spiraled, as the reports he wrote under Ansem's name showcase his inferiority complex increasing as he began to feel like a tiny, insignificant part of a larger universe beyond his comprehension.
A key point transpired when, unconsciously summoning a Keyblade, Xehanort unlocked the door to Radiant Garden's heart, which sent ripple effects across the universe. After this event, Xehanort developed a sort of monomania, now completely obsessed with the universe's cosmology and how it relates to darkness and the Heartless. This led to him and the other apprentices creating a machine that mass produced Heartless, beginning a threat that spread across many worlds. When Ansem the Wise finally discovered Xehanort's writings, all done under his name, he confronted him. This confrontation was the last straw in Xehanort's deteriorating mental and moral condition. In order to truly be Ansem, the real Ansem could no longer stay in his life to contradict this. Xehanort thus banished Ansem to a pocket dimension in the Realm Between that he had discovered in his research: the Realm of Nothingness. The emotional toll this took on Xehanort sent him into a temporary state of psychosis, as he once again unconsciously summoned his Keyblade and struck down his fellow apprentices while declaring "I'm not Xehanort! My name....is Ansem!"
Upon recovering, Xehanort consciously threw away anything of his old life and continued to live as "Ansem", eventually allowing the ravaging of his own kingdom in favor of throwing away his own body to become a Heartless himself, as the ultimate conclusion he had reached in his obsessive studies was that the Heartless are the true form of every living being and that the universe must be consumed by darkness so that all hearts become Heartless...with he, "Ansem", as their supreme ruler. From a mortal man to a Heartless...to a god.
As a Heartless: Ansem, as we shall now be calling the patient, is an extension of where we left him off as a human. But unlike his human self, which we saw grow and change the more psychological burdens he developed, Ansem is rigid and unchanging. The power of his convictions is absolute. He believes that darkness is the true nature of existence and that as the only one wise enough to learn and comprehend this, he is a chosen avatar of darkness itself. Unlocking the Door to Darkness and absorbing the Heart of All Worlds to become a deity is nothing short of destiny; in his mind he is fulfilling the will of darkness and correcting all that is wrong with the universe. This peculiar form of narcissism, where he sees himself as superior to all other lifeforms but inferior to darkness yet the recognition of this inferiority only reinforcing how superior he is, drives Ansem just as much as his continued thirst for knowledge does. He doesn't simply seek the truth, he seeks his truth, a truth he unquestionably believes to be correct. When acquiring physical form through the possession of Riku, Ansem showcases his narcissism through a haughty tone of voice and body language such as crossing his arms while looking down at others as though they are but insects crawling at his feet.
In spite of this, Ansem is also a master manipulator. While without physical form, he showed no difficulty suppressing his arrogance in order to better cajole the likes of Maleficent and Riku into doing exactly what he wanted them to do. The callous lack of empathy he showcased as a human is greater than ever before, as he shows no hesitation or remorse in throwing away his pawns once they have served their purpose to him and his own advancement. The lives of people and even entire worlds mean nothing to him, as his conviction that they are all fated to return to darkness means that he feels morally justified in his actions. He doesn't view himself as a villain the way that Maleficent and her compatriots do. He thinks he's the hero.
Ansem perished when, having been critically injured by Sora, Donald and Goofy, he opened the Door to Darkness and attempted to absorb the Heart of All Worlds. Unfortunately for him, its essence was light rather than darkness...too much light for him, a Heartless, to be able to withstand. In his final moments, Ansem was struggling to grasp how he could have possibly been wrong. The arrogant words he had once spoken, "One who knows nothing can understand nothing", came back to haunt him...as in the end, they applied to him.
As a Nobody: Xehanort's soul, refusing to accept the loss of his heart, reanimated his body into the Nobody known as Xemnas. While possessing all memories of Xehanort's activities prior to making the leap into darkness to become a Heartless, the lack of any emotion when recalling these memories is what allowed Xemnas to recognize that he was not that person in his memories, but simply his discarded physical vessel. An empty shell, never meant to exist to begin with.
Xemnas has an acute self-awareness wholly lacking in Ansem. While Ansem blocked out the inferiority complex he had developed as a human that drove him to that point, Xemnas remembers it clearly and is able to look upon his human self as the sad, psychologically imbalanced weakling that he truly was. In spite of this, the soul still carries the heart's will within it, and as a Nobody the will to become an omnipotent deity ruling over all other lifeforms burns more fiercely than ever. Because then Xemnas won't just be free of the shadows that Ansem the Wise and the universe at large cast upon Xehanort, but of the shadows truly existing beings with hearts cast upon him.
Utterly lacking in emotion, Xemnas naturally is just as adept as his Heartless counterpart at callous manipulation of others, if not moreso. Everyone is a pawn to be used for his own advancement toward godhood. Despite his arrogance, Ansem was more cautious in his actions due to his general weakness prior to gaining physical form. While just as calculating, Xemnas is far more assured in his power and thus is capable of acting more directly and ruthlessly. Then there is the matter of their visions for the universe. While Ansem operated under the belief he was serving a higher cause by plunging all into eternal darkness, Xemnas is under no such delusions. He seeks to reshape and rule the universe solely for himself, intending on making it a desolate void like the Realm of Nothingness, where all other lifeforms feel as empty as Nobodies and live as but extensions of him, forever enslaved to his will. Once not truly "existing", Xemnas would now define existence for all others.
Xemnas' ruthlessness is matched only by his intellect. Never a man to have just one iron in the fire, Xemnas constructs his plans with multiple contingencies. This also allows him to adapt quickly and casually to the unforeseen actions of others even as he continues trying (and largely succeeding) to predict such actions based on the person's psychological makeup and take full advantage of them. Because of this, he is able to gather and lead a group such as Organization XIII, full of different and often clashing personalities and agendas, to where it's him and his agenda that comes out on top.
Diagnosis: In the field of psychology, the human mind is often broken into three different sections: the ego which carries one's sense of self, the superego which is the product of nurture that feeds into the ego and safeguards the id, and the id which is the product of nature and holds all the most base instincts devoid of rationality or conscience. Xehanort was able to discard his superego, already tenuous as it was constructed by the man he felt such inferiority while standing beside, and divided himself into a pure ego, Ansem, and a pure id, Xemnas. What this reveals about the man is that he can safely be classified as a sociopath. Regardless of what his secret memories held, Xehanort was ultimately someone who valued himself and his hunger for knowledge above all else, could form attachments to other people but not maintain them, shamelessly engaged in dishonesty and manipulation, ultimately fell victim to strong emotions of jealousy and rage, and whose psychological coping mechanism for inferiority was excessive narcissism to the point of stealing the identity of the one he so admired yet envied.

Vibe check for borderline crack but also kinda serious AU where Baldr somehow finds himself heart freeloading in Riku years after his death, and now Riku has a keyblade wielder with a body count hanging around over the events of the mainline games. Baldr haunting the narative figuratively AND literally.
Extra features such as Riku and Baldr having extra strong light in them because to quote the intro to KH1 "the closer you get to light the greater your shadow becomes" but much like how negative times can easily overtake positive ones, it's not easily noticeable.
Featuring events such as:
Hanging around Destiny Islands as an incorporeal ghost that can barely interact with Riku but spending most of his time sleeping or at ease kinda does wonders for all those repressed emotions and trauma.
Adults think Riku has an imaginary friend. Riku was halfway convinced he was being haunted thanks to Baldr's white hair, eyes and lashes.
Baldr gets attached. Just a little bit.
Watching Riku struggle with his inner darkness and feeling abandoned in KH1 hits a little too close for comfort for Baldr, but hey, he knows from experience that anyone's voice would be preferable to the darkness.
Baldr clocking Xehanort almost immediately and going what the fuck. What the hell are you doing. Bastard what happened to you after all these years. Finds out Xehanort's trying to create Kingdom Hearts and is all OH so when *I* try to do it, you kill me, but if it's you, it's totally fine? I hope the kid beats your ass.
Baldr popping in as a voice in the climax and giving Ansem Seeker of Darkness a crisis before he dies, which he didn't quite *mean* to but he can still read emotions as a heart ghost. Feels kinda good he's not gonna lie.
Riku eventually grows taller than Baldr and he feels slighted. Offended. You're supposed to be a pipsqueak stop that.
Riku instead of turning into Ansem SoD in KH2 takes on the form of Baldr from connecting with his own darkness and, by proxy, Baldr. Instead of getting taller he gets shorter.
Cue Baldr weighing the pros and cons of Riku revealing his new form in front of Xemnas like- Cons: The possible rise of danger my heart innkeeper will be in. Pros: Chaos.
Sora squinting at Baldr!Riku until he screams and points like "YOU'RE THE GUY! FROM RIKU'S DRAWINGS! THE GHOST!" and Kairi doesn't get it until Sora reminds her of the guy Riku sometimes talked about when they were kids and drew pictures of and then SHE'S pointing like !??!!?! and Riku's like uuuuhhhh I can explain but it'll take a while.
"You know Xehanort? Why didn't you say anything??" "Yeah he was my classmate. And then he executed me after I killed the others in our class. And some of our upperclassmen. It's not the best conversation opener."
Riku becoming understandably distressed once he finds out how exactly Baldr died and the lead-up to his breakdown. Has to go talk to Mickey and be reassured that if Riku ever loses his way in the darkness again, they'll pull him right out no matter how many times it takes.
Baldr tries very, very hard not to be bitter.
"My feelings about my friends, sister and place of birth are complicated on the best of days, but I'm glad you don't have to live with the suffocating guilt and anxiety that there's something inherently wrong with you for having even a sliver more darkness in you than what's considered acceptable and worrying your loved ones will put you down if they find out. I'm glad you have people who understand you, and who try to understand you."
"Do you ever wish you could meet your sister again?" "I'm content mourning her."
The state of Sora, Riku and Kairi's friendship and complicated feelings about each other is almost enough to give Baldr an aneurysm when he feels them.
The fun of DDD where Baldr can take a solid form inside the dream realm and meets young Xehanort when his death is still fresh in his mind :^ )
Baldr, finding out about what happened with Eraqus and his apprentices; "Goddamnit Eraqus."
Someone telling Riku to follow his heart and he goes "Are you asking me to kill?"
Baldr; The number one guy who can get under Xehanort's skin and tear down his 'specialest guy' mindset, and only partly because his emotions are an open book to him. Takes a look at adult versions of him and goes "Oh I want to bully him so bad, it'd be so easy." Xehanort; Has spent the last decades researching darkness because of Baldr, while also pointedly not thinking about Baldr, that Baldr killed their friends, or that Xehanort killed him.
Why is Baldr in Riku? Eeeh, unsure. Mayhaps the kids were all meant to go to Quadratum after they died but Baldr went "nope" and drifted around instead until Riku was born and his heart went "oh twinsies". Maybe his classmates have been looking for him, after time has passed to think and reflect yet there's still been no sign of him.
And since I'm a sucker for happy endings all the DR kids reunite in Quadratum and Xehanort and Baldr can now kick each other's ankles and be the kind of pair that would be unbelievably toxic where they different people but it somehow works. Being able to read your partner's emotions would be very one-sided in any situation except where they can read yours right back.

The Big Bads of Kingdom Hearts (Divergence)
Xehanort - Big Bad of KH0.I (as Master Xehanort/Terra-Xehanort), KH1 (as Ansem & Xemnas), and KH2 (as Xemnas), major villain in CoM (as Ansem), XIII Days (as Xemnas), KH3D, KH3, and KH5. Easily the most iconic and ever-present KH original villain in the series, Xehanort was the greatest enemy to Sora and his friends. We see him in many forms: as a human, a superhuman, a Heartless, a Nobody, a memory specter, a data copy, and a Hollow Replica carrying his heart's entire essence that ultimately fuses together with a demonic god of darkness. Even after he's dead, his machinations create new trouble in the form of his Replica bastard son turned Ephemer clone who draws power from Nothingness. Had Xehanort's canonical trajectory matched this, all of him might have placed among the best video game villains instead of among the worst.
Maleficent - Major villain in KH0.1, KH1, CoM, KH2, Encoded Worlds, KH3D, KH3, KH4, and Pandemoniac Heartless Parade.
While Maleficent can never secure the position of THE Big Bad in any story, she's the Mistress of All Evil for a reason, and such a thing would feel too constraining for her. She stands as the arch foe of the Destiny Trio and all Disney good guys who've allied with them, and is always seeking ways to claim higher power, having involved herself with all major forces of evil to besiege the worlds. Even after getting ousted in KH0.I, after her own death in KH1, and after seeming to lose all power in KH4, she proves you can never count her out.
Marluxia - Big Bad of CoM, Major villain in KH2, XIII Days, and KH3.
One of the less remarkable Big Bads in the series as he only exists to service larger plots of Organization XIII and the Dark Seekers, yet in some ways this makes Marluxia all the more impressive for what he is. Much like CoM itself, he didn't need to go as hard with his plots and the style in his villainy, but he sure does and we love him for it.
Saix - Big Bad of XIII Days, Major villain in CoM, KH2, and KH3.
Saix is in the same boat as Marluxia and unfortunately has less luck when it comes to being a Big Bad, as no matter how much he may try otherwise, he's always in the shadow of Xemnas. That said, he still makes for a creepy and compelling antagonist you love to hate.
Pete - Major villain in KH2, XIII Days, Encoded Worlds, KH3D, KH3, KH4, Pandemoniac Heartless Parade, The Missing Links, and KH5.
The closest Pete comes to Big Bad status is playing the de-facto main antagonist in Encoded Worlds, but even that's at the behest of Maleficent and he's easily outdone by a computer virus. His major villain status comes from being a minion who also happens to be the Disney Castle crew's sworn enemy. Following Maleficent's power loss, he even gains a partner in the treacherous Duke Mortimer.
Chernabog & The MCP - Major villains in KH1 and KH2 respectively. Chernabog is, like Darxomnious, a demonic deity of darkness who, once situated at the core of End of the World, became a benefactor to Xehanort and the Heartless, but he is only encountered in a single boss fight (though he resurfaces as a nightmare boss in 3D and yet again in KH5). The MCP is more prominent, being the Arc VIllain for the Space Paranoids world that's directly tied with Hollow Bastion, essentially the digital counterpart to Terra-Xehanort who's even implied to service Xemnas himself, though he hates all other users.
Darxomnious & Master Luxu - Big Bad of KH3, Major villain(s) in X, KH3D, and The Missing Links. Darxomnious is the aggregation of the darkest of all hearts, the progenitor of all Darklings, and the overarching Big Bad of the second saga just as Terra-Xehanort was of the first. Master Luxu is the old master whose heart and mind has been tied directly to the dark god and who acts as his vessel in leading the XIII and directing the Dark Seekers movement. While both perish by the end of KH3, we see a fairy tale take on Darxomnious in X and fight a spectral memory of both him and Luxu in one route of The Missing Links.
Hades - Big Bad in Pandemoniac Heartless Parade, Major villain in KH0.1, KH1, CoM, KH2, XIII Days, Encoded Worlds, KH3D, KH3, and The Missing Links.
He's...well, he's Hades. What more need be said?
Judge Frollo - Major villain in KH3D, KH4, and The Missing Links. Frollo debuts in KH3D as the main villain of one of the penultimate worlds (voiced here by Earl Boen rather than Corey Burton) and gets defeated in the world's collective shared dream, which led to him being stripped of all authority upon the world's waking. Finding a way to flee his world, Frollo resurfaces as one of the most primary villains in KH4 (now voiced by Timothy E. Brummund) who conspires with the Lost Masters to exploit the Demi-Deterged and purge the worlds of all he considers sinful, even when it only grows and enhances his own heart's darkness. He's killed off for real, but makes one final appearance as an illusion to be vanquished in The Missing Links.
Master Narix - Big Bad in KH4, The Missing Links, and KH5. Narix is the third saga's overarching Big Bad and essentiallly the final boss of KH Divergence, as my imagination just can't extend past KH5. Narix, by nature, is a Contrasting Sequel Antagonist to Xehanort, basically Master Eraqus' moral absolutism and ideals of light supremacy taken to the furthest extremes, as he seeks to dismantle and reassemble Kingdom Hearts so as to eliminate all darkness across not just the World but the multiverse ('cause you know we had to go there at some point), all costs be damned. In doing so he ironically creates an evil force called "blight", light that's been perverted to the point where it works in tandem with darkness. Narix is only seen once in KH4, then becomes a more prominent enemy in both The Missing Links and KH5 along with the order he and his subservient Lost Masters leads, the Luminous Vanguard. Following Neodarkness and Evanessé, he's KH5's very final boss.
Vanitas/Neodarkness - Major villain in KH0.1, KH3D, KH3, KH4, The Missing Links, and KH5.
Vanitas is a major villain in KH0.1 and in KH3, with a phantom image of him being utilized by Xehanort in KH3D to spread nightmares. However, he doesn't come into his own until he embraces the fact that he is a perfect manifestation of darkness itself, which allows him to evolve into Neodarkness, the dark entity who takes Darxomnious' place as ruler of all dark hearts and evil beings. What's neat about Neodarkness is that, unlike Darxomnious, he's not strictly evil all the time, he's more a Chaotic Neutral who acts for his own amusement. Along with Narix and Evanessé, he's one of KH5's final bosses.
Evanesse' - Major villain in The Missing Links and KH5.
This would be "Xehanort's Replica bastard son turned Ephemer clone who draws power from Nothingness" I mentioned before. When Xehanort was in his new Replica body and planned on becoming a god by merging with Darxomnious, he secretly used the knowledge of Xion's creation from one cursed timeline as a blueprint to create his own Hollow Replica he planned on reincarnating his human heart into, but as Darxomnort was destroyed, this never happened. It ends up being Ephemer's heart that gives life to this Replica, creating the tortured and nihilistic Evanessé who seeks to find his own aim and place in the world before ultimately deciding he wants everything around him to disappear into Nothing, hence his thematic name. Along with Neodarkness and Narix, he's one of KH5's final bosses.
King Magnifico - Major villain in KH5.
Magnifico is sort of like the MCP of KH5, being the Arc Villain of a running subplot. We're told he's in competition with Yen Sid because he wants to seize ownership of the Mysterious Tower and relocate it to be Rosas-adjacent, and the Wishing Star he's on the lookout for is one of Ephemer's allies throughout the game, but we only meet him in person upon actually visiting Rosas, where he's faced down and defeated. His inclusion in the game not only makes sense given the timing, but due to the fanbase he's garnered over in Japan. He's also a parallel to Narix, a man in white whose good intentions have given way to selfishness and power-lust that he can't even recognize.

HC; Living Shadow.
This one has been living my head for a good amount of time while having this blog. Sora's whole make up in terms of a being remained complicated after the events of one. Someone who regained his humanity without a nobody, someone who in the process, didn't get his Heartless state destroyed but integrated. I believe the important detail here is that regardless of which form he's in, that sentience and conscious choice is forged.
I'd say that he's a grade above of how Ansem SoD turned out. Instead of becoming a Heartless with a human form, he's become a being who can openly stand upon either border, and can continue to be if one of the other is gone for a time.
I believe it's within this framework we can get an idea on how Sora grew so exponentially in his time as a Keyblade wielder. Its the simultaneous development of the human and shadow sides working in unison, both benefiting from the trials endured.
It's not working in a fashion of someone growing their darkness through grim emotion. It's genuinely absorbing the same experiences in a different means.
I believe Re:Coded managed to give a foreshadowing of this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now in this sense we're getting it purely from the perspective of a unique Heartless circumstance. All the same, it introduces the concept of how Sora and his Heartless Physiology do hold the capacity to grow at the same time at differing intervals.
The reason why we don't see a Darkside in KH1 I believe during the sacrifice, is due to the presence of Kairi and Ventus's hearts of light. They serve as a means to distill the worst from coming to be, and allowing Sora to retain a state of where despite being a Heartless, he managed to retain his sentience for a fleeting moment-- but that was all that was needed. So instead of a Darkside spawning? It was simply a shadow Heartless.
Kairi's means of saving him managed to make him regain his humanity. At the same time, this never 'eliminated' any part of Sora either. He threw off the whole Heartless/Nobody dichotomy with this act, and instead allows the Heartless build become a intimate part of Sora's conscious framework. He'd only regain his lost power from Roxas by the end of 2.
Time and time again too we also see these 'limiters' get removed. Without Kairi in KH2 we got the Antiform becoming an avid possibility.
And with Ventus's return in KH3, the new mode of Rage Form began the cusp of a mutation during the battle with Xehanort. However, it was this same anomaly that managed to be the winning factor. Xehanort had the power to quite literally strip any and all into dispersed dark energy, or a Heartless by stripping them of their form.
Tumblr media
Sora could maintain a physical and more importantly, conscious shape when this should've been existence wiping him entirely.
By proxy I believe this is the proof of what creates the explosive levels of growth that weaves in tandem with Sora's natural state, through these means he's developing through his own particular path. Could this become a potential threat if left unchecked? Possibly. It'll simply be another means he needs to garner a more intimate understanding of.
Tl;dr The Heartless Hivemind that is associated with the 13 Primal darknesses are not actively a part of Sora. Yet, he managed to tamper into making this state of being his own, even if far from mastered.

wof? PERIL HANDS DOWN I LOVE MY FLAMING LIL SKYWING I LOVE HERRRRRRRR
Istg I’m gonna trap you in a lil jar so you can’t run away/J
also the teams- I can attempt to explain but idk my own thought process-
terra:
Mega manectric as a like- rescue dog sorta thing cus he’s protective over his siblings so obviously he’d want something to be able to help them if he cant
luxray because it can see through things(unlike his ass with xehanort) and can also help his siblings
braviary for ig- aerial support???? I don’t rly know-
solgaleo for OBVIOUS reasons *looks at isa with aelita* but also cus I kinda associate the cute sun and moon stuff with terra and isa more- especially since more often I see the sun drawn with the ground more while the moon it’s with water and the moon needs the sun to glow and the water needs the ground to be able to create the sea floor or ponds while the ground needs water to keep from drying up and the sun needs the moon to keep the worlds day night cycle in balance
crowned zamazenta because he’s more of a tanker out of aqua and ven(for me at least) so he’s willing to sacrifice himself for others similar to zamazenta in the shield lore(??)
Garganacl to represent his name ig idk-
xemnas:
just ditched all but one Pokemon lmao
galarian moltres to stalk down org members from windows or when they’re on missions
defense deoxys to represent how terra could handle more hits and so can xemnas because he uses Terra’s body
gigalith to pin down troubling org members (he used this to give teen isa the x scar) with rock type moves
Malamar to manipulate members into doing what he wants
dusk mane because he let a necrozma take over it basically represents xehanorts control over terra now
necrozma that was used on aelita but technically joined saix cus Dawn wings aelita only listened to saix
ansem:
also ditched Terra’s team(the rest of the team probably stayed with lingering will)
also he’d probably love dark and poison lol
mega gengar to watch Riku from the shadows post kh1 which continued following him post kh3 cus ansem is dead
mega houndoom to punish people who attempt to get in his way of kingdom hearts and all his other plans-
Honchkrow to watch over guardian during kh3 since now terra nort has him and he does care about guardian-
garchomp as a replacement to guardian during kh3 because again- no longer had him to help him in battle so had to find a kinda temp replacement
yveltal to represent guardians kh1 end form kinda- and also to represent the ig sense of self he grew over the span of kh which yk- could allow him a replica- dadsem seeker of darkness/hj
Naganadel which was used to trick Riku enough in KH 1 to let ansem basically take him over idk
xehanort:
genesect- man made creation- he basically created the unversed through vanitas
necrozma- parasite- used terra all throughout bbs and even past it via ansem and xemnas
eternatus- LITERALLY TRIED TO KILL OFF ALL OF GALAR WITH ITS DARKEST DAY SHIT- LITERALLY TRIED RESETING ALL THE WORLDS WITH HIS KEYBLADE WAR SHIT
annihilape- dead monkey that lives out of spite- should be fuckinf dead but his old ass came back in ddd like a bat out of hell
mega mewtwo x- man made creation and buff as shit- THIS MAN PICKED UP A FULLY ARMORED AND STRUGGLING VENTUS BY ONLY HIS HEAD AND HELD HIM OVER THE EDGE OF A CLIFF- AND DID BASICALLY THE SAME THING WITH KAIRI- I understand why Eraqus let him come over in bbs
Black kyurem- one word one name- darkness- ghetsis
ghetsis can go die in a ditch for how he dared treating N
Eraqus:
mega pidgeot- idk he just seems like he’d find a random pidgey and name it fluffy as a teen- and then keep it with him throughout life
absol- Warner of disasters- x - k e y b l a d e
serperior- they’d just give the same “I’m not mad I’m disappointed” look
hisuian samurott- look at eraqus’ design and armor from mirage arena- need I say more?
gothitelle- can tell the future of which is very useful for a keyblade master to use- tho he absolutely ignored it for xehanort- gothitelle should’ve slapped his dumbass for that
rayquaza
🦖<- terra with darkness
/——————\ ______🐟____<-aqua pushing herself
I don’t need more than that

So, for the second part of my previous post, I'll be tackling the second aforementioned game or technically game series. Kingdom Hearts.
Now, if you just want to know which characters from Kingdom Hearts or Disney I'm specifically hoping for asks for, I'll put it here as I did in my last post. This way, you don't need to read through my entire post if you don't wish to.
So I'm truly hoping for asks involving Sora and Aqua, first and foremost. The other women from the KH series I would really like to see are Larxene, Olette, Xion, Namine, Yuffie, Tifa, Mulan, Elsa, Alice, Megara, and I know she isn't in the games but Violet Parr.
Other Disney women wouldn't be ones I'm opposed to, but those are my biggest wants. Especially Aqua and Sora, because I love the idea of them as a couple.
Finally, onto gushing about the game series. So is the overall plot convulted? Fuck yeah it is, and honestly it has it's lows. The gameplay of Re:Chain of Memories, or literally everything but world design (except Frozen, fuck the Frozen world) in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Birth by Sleep is my personal favourite, a solid number 5 in my favourite games ever behind FFX at 4, Shadow of War at number 3, Monster Hunter World at number 2 and Danganrona Trigger Happy Havoc at number 1. This isn't about those other games though.
We'll start with KH1, a fun game that has its jankiness from being an older game, but it also carries all of the charm. Despite the lingering jankiness it carries, the gameplay is addicting, the story isn't that hard to follow, and exploring and interacting with Disney and Final Fantasy characters is amazing. It's an iconic experience that's hard to talk negatively about. Sora is a compelling protagonist you want to root for, who can be childish (because he is so young) but also manages to be wise and responsible beyond his age.
His dedication to saving Kairi, stopping Ansem, and redeeming/saving/stopping Riku is also comendable. Kairi is a non character for a good portion of the game, more so a goal than a character, and Riku is a compelling rival and antagonist for the game. Donald and Goofy have great chemistry with Sora and were a perfect pick to be the other two main team members for Sora. Though I sometimes wish we had an original character, a disney mainstay, and a final fantasy character as the trio.
Then you move on, and have Chain of Memories, it's story is important and it isn't bad, without it we wouldn't have an explanation for the organization, some of the best original characters like Larxene and Namine, but god fuck the gameplay. Yes it's a side game, and an attempt at a new style but it fucking sucked. I always forgive it because I adore the story and characters of the game, but truthfully, it is exceedingly bad and the story carries that game on it's back.
KH2 is next, the best the game ever was, regardless if it wasn't my personal favourite from the series. The worlds are excellent, the soundtrack is amazing, the characters are all so well done, the boss fights, and secret boss fights are phenomenal, and the story is so so damn good. The new magic is a welcome addition, the forms are such a nice change and god-damn the enemy selection and reaction commands are so perfectly designed.
Opening with Roxas was a great move for both a tutorial and for the story, Hayner, Pence and Olette truly make you love their presence despite such a short opening stay, and when you switch back to Sora you're ready for the experience. To make it even better, Mulan is in the game, the best disney movie, and I will die on that hill. There is a good amount of side content. Difficulty in critical mode can feel overwhelming, but the moment it clicks, you feel so damn good.
The disney characters get their proper love, and the final fantasy characters get to shine like the should. Though I'll be damned if Radiant Garden didn't make me wish Yuffie or Tifa were permanent party members. So many disney ips get love, and it feels like the perfect blend of Disney and Final Fantasy.
Then you have 365/2 Days, a game I care very little about other than the fact Axel and Xion are amazing, and their friendship with Roxas is great. The story it has isn't the greatest, but it's not going to ever be the weakest in the series because two other games are literally sitting their fighting over that.
Moving on because 365/2 Days is so middle of the pack, we have Birth By Sleep. God damn, my favourite in the series. I love the command melding system, for a spin-off its so damn good, I love Aqua so fucking much, Shot-locks feel great, the worlds are unique for each character and the bosses still hold up as amazing. Terra and Ventus are definitely weaker than Aqua, but they are both good in their own right, and it's story is actually really compelling even if I don't particularly like the ending with Terranort. The reason that Roxas appears as he does is great, being that he isn't Sora's nobody but instead Ventus'. If I would have one complaint other than Terranort, its that fighting Vanitas as often as you do really makes him feel like a pushover, until you get to his final fight in crit and he kicks your teeth in.
Then you have Dream Drop Distance, and it adds in a new batch of crossover characters, but gods above that game is still trash to me. I don't care enough about the new people, nor does the gameplay hold my attention at all. Then you get to the story, gods, the story hurts my soul. Riku being worthy of being a keyblade master despite the fact he damn near destroyed every possible world is ridiculous, and the idea that Sora starts to fall to darkness and therefore fails is absurd. It then introduces a deus ex machina for Kindom Hearts 3, and all of it feels like a slap in the face of Sora and his progression. He's been growing game after game, as not only a keyblade wielder but as a person growing out of his childhood and into a young man with just a hint of childishness, a more mature and wise mindset, yet a playfulness and optimistism unrivaled by anyone around him. This game throws most of if it away and I loathe it for that.
It's only topped by fucking Kingdom Hearts 3, what a god damn travesty and disappointment. This game backwalks all of Sora's growth and makes him a naive idiot, who acts like an idiotic child. It relies on a deus ex machina, illogical revival of the organization members, including multiple versions of Xehanort and multiple people who already betrayed him. Riku, the one 'worthy' of being a Keyblade master fails at his only goal until Sora steps in an does it instead, and Sora is still mocked and treated like he's weaker or a failure.
Did you like having Final Fantasy characters in this Disney x Final Fantasy crossover game? Well, they're gone now, so sucks to be you if you did. Did you like the fluid and fun gameplay of KH2? Well, it's gone now and replaced by mind-numbingly simple combat with disgustingly overpowered magic that trivializes every fight. Did you like the way Sora, Donald, and Goofy (exclusively in that order) interacted with disney world and characters and had an impact on their stories? Too bad, now you can sit here and watch the exact plot of Frozen play out without Sora doing shit, including Let it Go in all of its trashy glory.
It's such a downgrade from the previous games and an incredible disappointment for the series. It's meant to be the great end to the saga, but instead, it just set up the next storyline instead, while trashing its characters in the process and expecting you to applaud it for finally existing.
Despite the flaws at the end of the current games (I will not bring up Melody of Memory, I haven't played and will not play it) I still love the vast Majority of the series and that's because of the characters for the most part.
Donald and Goofy are, as you'd expect, funny, and the way the pair play off of Sora is welcome and a great way to add levity and somehow, sincerity to the games. They feel like they were never meant for anything else, and that's amazing.
Riku sometimes sucks and sometimes is great. He's hit or miss depending on the game, and honestly, he makes such an interesting case of a character that could be loved or despised, and I would perfectly understand either side. He clearly cares about his friends, but you know, he did also nearly destroy them all. He does make very good transformation bait, wink wink.
Kairi is a nothing character which is wild because her NOBODY is a far better character than her in every conceivable way. She's a plot device in the first game, but they never really gave her much depth, she's just bland in every game and they always seem to forget about her but people still kept rooting for her to end up with Sora. Not me, I know Sora deserves better, and has more chemistry with so many other characters.
Xion is awesome and adorable in equal measure, but unfortunately, she really doesn't get much to show for her great personality because the games liked to forget about her or leave her in the background outside of 365/2 Days. However, she is cute, kind, and eager to learn about and explore the world.
Roxas is probably my least favourite of the protagonists, solely because I find him ungodly bland. He's not awful as a character, just never appealed to me. I always found his supporting casts outshining him in all of his appearances, so he just never felt like a character I could care about.
Axel is fucking hilarious, and that's a point in his favour. Plus, his fight is dope as hell, his design is neat, and his voice is great. His desire to save Roxas and Xion is so pure, and he genuinely is a character that is so easy to empathize with. You get why he's fighting so hard, and you want to help him get them back.
Ventus is kind of the same, but I adore his relationship with Terra and Aqua, and he is more like Sora than Roxas was. He's just an outgoing teen ready to explore and desperately trying to keep his friend from abandoning him or giving up on himself. That's enough for him to work, but he's just not on the level of others.
Terra is bleh, I like him less than Aqua or Ventus, but more than Roxas or Kairi. He's just so middle of the road I couldn't care too much about him, so I'll just leave it as he's fine as he is.
Aqua is fucking amazing. She's a motherly or sisterly figure to Terra and Ventus, a completely kind-hearted soul, who is also completely prepared to throw the fuck down with anyone to defend the innocent. She's also hot, and honestly, I will never lose my love for the concept of her and Sora as a pair. Their personalities perfectly fit together and the fact he is the one to save not only her, but help her save Terra, and to save Ventus is such a thing that would make her fall for him.
Fuck Mickey. Fuck the mascot of Disney, Oswald was better, and Mickey sucks both in and out of Kingdom Hearts. That is all that the mouse deserves from me.
Namine, the nobody of Kairi. Another great character, one who somehow manages to be the better character than the one she was derived from. She cares so much for others and their plights and desperately wants to help despite what and where she is. A guiding figure and yet another character I could see being in love with Sora. She deserves so much more screen time.
Finally, for the heroes, we have Sora. What a great fucking protagonist (except in KH3, I can't emphasize enough, fuck KH3). Extreme depth, childishness he begins to outgrow. His failures weigh on him, but he doesn't give up. He's willing to do anything for his friends, sacrificing himself in a heartbeat (heh) for Kairi, for Riku, and for everyone else. He's a genuinely nice person who wants the best for everyone and hopes to do the best for them. He deserves all the love because of what he does, who he is, and how much he grows. He saved the worlds multiple times, and he earned all of his achievements.
I would go into the villains, but that's a long long list of characters and truthfully, most of them are very one not. Marluxia, Xigbar, Luxord, and Larxene are stand outs in that department, and Xehanort overstays his welcome when he has 1000 different forms. He's not an awful villain (when he's not in Dream Drop Distance or Kingdom Hearts 3), but he's also not that amazing either.

The Dark Picture REPAINT ~ Origins of the Ink Demon : Operation Drawcia Pt.14 ~
"Around Three years ago"
[Ceremony by Masaru Setsumaru]
Hotsuma : Tsubaki. Let this be an important lesson. I would understand to know about your brother's hardships.
Tsubaki : I am feel free to be honored to bestow upon my family's legacy. [Hibana is shown from the Tree]
Hibana : Wonder what those two up to? This duel could be proving to be the beginning of her family's fate.
Hotsuma : Let our fates be destined.
Tsubaki : Hai, Hotsuma-san.
Hibana : I can't wait to show who's gonna win.
Hotsuma : Let us begin.
Tsubaki : Ryokai.
*Hotsuma and Tsubaki starts dueling*
*sounds Hotsuma and Tsubaki battling*
Hibana : What a fascinating display, two shinobis dueling each other, guess they are destined going to become the next leader, but for Ageha, her obessions with his brother was a plan to get her killed. This was a foolish attempt trying to bring Chaos to the world. But you know, anybody in the world is a hero that is going to win.
Hotsuma : En garde!
Tsubaki : Humph!
*the two charges at each other*
*CLANG!*
"Three years later..."
News Reporter : Many days have passed since the arrival of the Black Arms, a tear from the sky what we know it as the "Exception Zone", was first opened after a huge amount of Emerald energy through the space-time continuum. And it appears that the Heartless are forming an alliance with creatures called "Nobodies", that are wreaking havoc in the multiverse and--Uhh, why did you stop rolling? [pans to show a Heartless]
Neoshadow : Huh?! SAY CHEESE IN YOUR FACE, B*TCH!
*SMASH+MAN GRUNT+TV BUZZING*
Xemnas : So everything is according to plan, once we settled with the Ohkuboverse's issue, it continues to spread more problems, the courage, the heroism, all coming from the Boy's legacy, and yet they failed to protect, knowning that it lasted longer after the universe ceased from existence.
Xigbar : Tell me about it. The old coot Shinigami turned out to be nothing more than a kid of that Ohkuboverse, the Multiverse has been going alot of downhill since the beginning. Now that their precious "Ohkuboverse" is no more, who's gonna be the hero of a new story?
Xemnas : Perhaps, we should teach the inhabitants of that long-forgotten universe the true meaning of their suffering and yet, their tales should never reach their ends. Once we gather the source of the legacy, we will put an end to their reputation and even meet their demises. Rest to assure, that this excursion from all of witchkind will be exposed by the truth itself.
Xigbar : This is what I'm talking about. Roxas...You're gonna in one bit a of pickle.
*scene changes*
Hibana : Nakatsukasa! You might wanna take a look. I think I have monitored a witch with a hat shape like a chameleon.
Tsubaki : What is it, Mrs Hibana?
Hibana : Ever since your training days as a warrior of the light, I discovered that a witch from the one states of New England has managed to escape with a former detective that has been AWOL'd from the Metropolitan Force.
Tsubaki : Former detective? Who is that?
Hibana : This samurai-like swordsman with long hair is Mifune, a once known detective of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. He was once a detective in the Star Clan incident who was trying to protect a village from the ravenous clan, who turns out to be led by a Heartless known as Shadow Star, a humanoid figure who steals people's hearts and souls for dark energy called Darkness. According to information, Black Star, the last member of the clan is also Heartless as well, he is a human-heartless hybrid that was getting into information about the legacy of Shinra Kusakabe, the one that every hero of Soul World protected. That's why Maka Albarn has combined their efforts with two boys protecting the legacy!
[Scenario : Deadlock by Fumie Kumatani]
Tsubaki : Black Star...Heartless?
*flashback*
Ansem : [To Black Star] Explain to yourself, young man. Your attitude and self-centered life does not make you human to live in shadows, you are a heartless, a son of a heartless that tries to conquer all, but died by the hands of the Kuroshima clan, the pitiful man-made son of Shinra Kusakabe had made you a bigger fool to be imagined. So I suggest that you should be dealing other people's problems. The Heartless would be the source of your origins and they are meant to cover the world in Darkness, but the Demons kept getting our way!
*Ansem's foot is on Black Star's head*
Black Star : Please! I'll...I'll never tell, I'm the only hero that is ever left from the clan! You can't tell me what to do, I am the assassin! I am a hero, I have a life to--
Ansem : SILENCE! You and your arrogance shall pay for your transgression for immediate excursion from the beyonds of this planet, but if you think that you're clever of being a hero inheritated by the man who was wants known as Hoshimiya, then the suggest that the Ohkuboverse will never have it's heroes again, especially the way you meant to take Shinra's. Don't worry, I know how fix that attitude of yours.
Black Star : No please! I beg of you! I meant to be a Hero for this!
Ansem : Shock to Darkness!
*ELECTRIC ZAPING*
Black Star : [yelling in agony] NO! STOP! PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU! STOOOOP!!! TSUBAKI! HELP ME!
Tsubaki : *tear drop flows* ....Gomen ne.
*flashes back to end*
Tsubaki : Black Star...a Heartless...Him...living in Darkness?
Nighshade Hibana : Nakatsukasa. What's wrong?
Tsubaki : Am I...am I going to birth to his child to spread all that darkness that I have never felt like this?
[Echo Night - Beyond OST : Track 12]
Nightshade Hibana : ....?
Tsubaki : Do I want a heartless child of my own? Do I want to hear Maka about showing the world how much courage she has given to Shinra! Unacceptable! *SLAM* I will not die, I won't risk my life to be a hero's tool. Black Star...That idiot, who does he think he is?! Always the hero, always the shinobi, always calling himself a star that is his cocky attitude. If only I was real gentle with him, I could've sworn that he was nothing like Kazuki. Mifune said that Black Star was an assassin that is living in the Darkness. But for me...I was a Kunoichi who was trained to be with the light. That is what I trained for to be a hero.
[Are you Alright, Celvice? by Norihiko Hibino]
*BEEPING*
Man via Communication : Hibana. This is HQ. Do you copy?
Hibana : This is Nightshade Hibana. Copy that. What's the current status?
Man via Communication : Intel confirmed that a young witch is being targeted by a criminal organization. Sensors detecting that a orphan chameleon is being involved of being on a hunt by humans.
Hibana : What chameleon? Who's the Chameleon Girl that is being targeted by criminals of the underworld?
Man via Communication : The target confirmed to be Angela Leon, an orphan witch from New England, who was working for Arachne Gorgon, one of the Terrorist that presumed dead for around 800 years, but recently, the orphaned witch isn't alone, but was bodyguarded by Tokyo's Former Metropolitan Detective Mifune, who is also confirmed wanted for working with the terrorists.
Hibana : What!? Angela Leon is working for the terrorist! Why would a little girl would be working for the terrorists!?
Tsubaki : It's because of me and Black Star, the Star Clan were led by Heartless around 10 years, they're the ones behind all of this! Arachne Gorgon or not, I have to get to that child to a safe place.
Man via Communication : Hibana. This is your newest mission. Your assignment is to secure Angela Leon, stop the Terrorists from possessing this serious threat, and make sure whatever you do, do not fail us. Failure is not an option in the mission. That's an order.
Hibana : Understood. Come on, Tsubaki. It's time that today's not our day.
Tsubaki : Today's not our day indeed.
Hibana : We got a child to secure, man or no man, we gotta find that Shinobi wannabe or else, we'll be toast as heroes.
Tsubaki : Hai.
*scene changes*
*Sonic SFX : Aircraft/Spacecraft Whooshing+Jet roaring*
Wolf via communication : Leon. It's about that Kid, where have you last seen her?
Leon : Oh I don't know, she's a cute little girl that I have been looking after her and her mother told that I would keep a close eye on her, I still don't know why I was guardian to be a parent for a female witch that goes by the name Angela Leon, but I used to call her "Angela Pawolski".
Wolf via Communication : Angela Pawolski? Leon, she's just an orphaned witch of Witchkind, her mother has been long gone since humans have been going bananas on hurting their kind, what are the odds? My suggestion that old DWMA wanted a former detective dead for getting involvements with the terrorists.
Panther via Communication : Don't get a head of yourself, Wolf O' Donnell. Leon is a very busy man, who is a very skillful like the hitman at the speed of sound, Pico.
Leon : I'm certainly aware that readings about Loathsome beings that are the flies driven to scourge the earth below, still no reaction on what the DWMA was thinking, they're money is going down to zero.
Wolf via Communication : I had to get in contact with the Government to assist one of Sega's Veterans, don't ask why, I got a bunch of rats that has a silver tongue to prove those answers, them Apparoids are such a pain to deal with.
Panther via Communication : Once we find the child...Then you will able to meet her in peace. Do we agree?
Leon via Communication : Agree.
Wolf : Since Pigma and Andrew Oikonny have been left out, I guess there's only one thing left to do. We gotta fight for survival, that's what we do in the world of Star Fox. But a reunion with Star Fox, I guess you can say that as well, this will be a perfect setup for the common gold.
Panther & Leon : Understood!
*beeping*
Wolf : Dang! We got enemies on our tail! Those guys need their selves to be put them in their place! Star Wolf, let's get into action!
[Star Wolf's Theme (Assault ver.) by Koji Kondo]
Leon & Panther : Roger!
"STAR WOLF BACK IN ACTION!"
Panther : Time to give them a real good butt-kicking!
Wolf : Let's see what Old Wolf O' Donnell got something in store for these losers.
Leon : Be on guard! *looks at a photo of Angela Leon* However, I was ordered to protect those who smile, never forget.
Wolf : Alright team! Move out!
*scene then changes*
[Separation by Masamichi Amano]
"Leon Pawolski, member of the mercenary team Star Wolf, was said to be the true guardian that looked after a witch that was named after him and I suggest that those two aren't related by blood or human blood as well."
*Around two years ago*
"At the facility of Deathscythe, Duo is making his departure for Tokyo for the celebration of his reunion, the anniversary of his show."
Duo Maxwell : Well...It's that time. I'm ready to go...Deathscythe is waiting for me.
*Duo is finishing packing up his baggage*
Duo : *hears someone approaching* Huh? Lain.
Lain : I promised, that I finally made him strong enough to take the enemy down, but after you leave, you and your friends would come back to this facility one day, I hope, that we'll meet again some time.
Rei : Just don't forget who looks after your robot, Duo.
Duo : Thanks, guys. I won't forget. *carries his baggage* Take care of yourself.
Lain : *hugs duo from behind* Arigato Gozaimasu, Duo Maxwell. Guess this is goodbye now.
Duo : No problem.
*Scene then cuts to outside of the facility*
Duo : My ride should be arriving here any minute now.
*HELICOPTER FLYING*
Mike via radio : Hey, Duo! Right on schedule!
Duo : Hey, Mike! Great timing!
Mike via Radio : Heavy stuff man! You're just in time for your flight to Tokyo.
Duo : Great! Just in the nick of time! Let's get going!
Mike via Radio : Roger that! Over and out!
*Duo then get aboards the Helicopter before flies off*
Lain : [she smiles] Good luck, dear.
"Meanwhile later at a Naval Station..."
"ZONE 5 : HUGE CRISIS ZONE"
Shinra the Devil Chao : Arthur! I think I made it to the station.
Saber via Radio : Good. Good. The Emerald should be here somewhere. Where could that fifth emerald be...?
Shinra the Devil Chao : But what I'm really good at...Is that I like to blow things up. In the Real World, what happens when make a mind blowing sea of explosions, Michael Bay style?
Saber via Radio : That's an excellent deduction, Shinra. Just don't refer stuff to the Real World. Hopefully...We all know where that little girl is.
Shinra the Devil Chao : What little Girl?
Saber via Radio : You know...Tamaki Kotatsu, she's the only inhabitant of the Ohkuboverse who barely survived the annihilation from the Time Eater 1000 years before my resurrection in this here body. Local has it, the inhabitant of the Ohkuboverse, Blair Witch, said to be a close childhood friend of Tamaki, but turns out that she's not jus a childhood friend, but a believer of the Ohkuboverse's hero, Maka Albarn.
Shinra the Devil Chao : I know...Tamaki...She's been with us in the Ohkuboverse before it's destruction by the Time Eater, but right now, we shouldn't make any necessary sacrifices, let's see what the Mashimaverse does that the Ohkuboverse don't. I'm just getting started to get into the big picture.
Saber via Radio : Alright. Be on guard. Stay high alert, Sonic is at the one of the naval ships, but trust me, there is a party going on these naval ships, that's why it's called the "Huge Crisis", but there is a Huge Crisis at this here Naval Station, they're gonna turn this entire station into a Naval Shipyard for the Dead.
Shinra the Devil Chao : Say no more. Alright...Let's get this party started. [Turns on the radio]
Professor K : Hey y'all boys and girls, this is your captain Professor K and we're Tokyo's underground Pirate Station, JET SET RADIO!!! We got a special song for the Military Organization G.U.N that will turn their naval station into the sickest party spot in the world! So that is why we're going to throw a party with a JEH JEH ROCKET! Kick it!
[Jeh Jeh Rocket by Hideki Naganuma plays]
Shinra the Devil Chao : Alright! Now we're talking!
Saber via Radio : Don't get too hasty, Shinra! The station's crawling with G.U.N robots, their security are no match for the Dark Chao Walker.
Shinra the Devil Chao : Relax! I got it all covered! Time to make a house call for this entire military!
Shinra & Sonic : [Syncing] Let's do it!
Male Voice : EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!
Rouge via Radio : What's going on here!? Who's at the Naval Station!?
Eggman Nega on P.A : Well, Sonic. Congratulations on making to this Naval Station, but how about a friendly reminder? Remember these pests that hunted you down for a crime that you did not commit?
Sonic : Oh yes, I remember those guys. They're the ones mistaken me back at San Francisco, It was a huge badass in distress for all of that Hero work to clear my name, It's all Eggman fault that he got me in hot water after the man of year crud in 97.
Eggman Nega on P.A : Correction, but the Eggman you know is somewhere beyond this naval station. But if you're looking for the fifth Chaos Emerald and not just that Fourth one which were counterfeits, It's somewhere around the station! But mark my words, Blue rodent, I will put an end to you once and for all with my latest and most unique creation beyond this Naval Station!
Rouge via Radio : Oh yeah? Well guess what? You're not getting away with everything you got!
Eggman Nega via Radio : Huh? Who are you?
Rouge via Radio : I'm Rouge the Bat, this Naval Station is off limits, you are not authorized to access this station, state your name and business.
Eggman Nega via Radio : Why...I'm Eggman!
Rouge via Radio : Nice try, but that won't work! Hey, Sonic! I have the fifth Chaos Emerald, I got it secured, but I was in bit of a pickle.
Sonic : Thanks for your advice, hopefully, we can get these emeralds back to Knuckles, but hopefully you won't take the Master Emerald, would you?
Rouge via Radio : No thanks! I'll pass this one, please, find Eggman Nega as fast as you can, the commander is not going to please when he finds about this. Better stay alert and get pass through security!
Sonic : Thanks for that, I get there soon as possible! [To himself] Why in the world would a cat princess from another dimension that Cream would be friends with? Can't believe that Vanilla had her left of and Gemerl is searching for her! Where did looking after her gone wrong? I gotta stop this before Eggman Nega go haywire on the world? Hopefully the military is going out of style when they get a load of--
*DBZ SFX : BOOMING*
Sonic : What's the shakedown?
G.U.N Soldier : HELP! LUNATIC LIFEFORM ATTACKING THE SHIP!
Sonic : Lifeform? Wait a sec, the guy from that long-forgotten universe, Shinra!
*pans to Shinra destroying the robots path*
Shinra the Devil Chaos : *laughs manically* THIS SO GOOD TO BE TRUE!
*Explosion Sounds by Hidenori Arai*
Shinra the Devil Chaos : Out of my way! I am getting my hands to that Girl!
*cuts back to Sonic*
Sonic : Looks like he's having some fun on this naval station! Guess this means that he and his partner are really liking to be the biggest star of this party! Time to blast through the station! *gets on board*
Male Voice : 3...2....1...Blast off!
*DBZ SFX : Boosting*
Sonic : Here I go! [launches in the air and goes through the hoops] WOOHOO! Great Party, Shinra! But I'm not done with you yet!
Shinra the Devil Chao : [To Sonic] Listen to me, Blue Hedgehog, that mustache man is mine! I am going to get him, no matter what! I will get him back!
Sonic : Oh is that so? Okay then, Shinra! But I'll show you what a real hero can do!
*later*
Sonic : Made it!
Shinra the Devil Chao : Tell me about!
Sonic : Best party ever! Going through a Naval Station to find the fifth Chaos Emerald was a huge snap, but trust me...You don't know what you're up against.
Saber (Arthur Boyle) : Ah, Shinra, boy wonder. Glad you finally made to the last of the Naval Station.
Eggman : Sonic is that you?
Sonic : Huh? Eggman! You're here and why is your head so small?
Eggman : No need to explanation, Sonic. Listen, while the troops are handeling the forces of the Black Arms, I realized that Eggman Nega isn't appeared what he used to be. He did not came from Blaze's world or neither was the Sol Dimension.
Rouge : But with your advice, we discovered that this Eggman Nega person is not from the Sol Dimension, data shows that this man has his data this actually from 200 years in the future.
Saber (Arthur Boyle) : Huh?
Sonic : ....Eh?
[Everyone pauses for a minute]
*Warioware Clock ticking+Ding!*
Saber (Arthur Boyle) : All this time...You mean Eggman Nega-IS ACTUALLY FROM 200 YEARS IN THE FUTURE!?!
Sonic : So that's why I caught up with Eggman Nega...In the first place, that means you in this little machine is the real eggman!?
Eggman : Yes quite true.
Sonic : It turns out that I've been fighting the wrong ones this whole time, I was supposed to fight against you in our previous fight, but then I was fighting this Eggman from Blaze's World, who is actually from 200 years in the future. Why didn't you tell me that before!?
Eggman : I know why, Eggman Nega wasn't here to help me conquer the world, he wanted me to destroy the world, turn me into a card, help make a machine that wields a powerful staff, and then summons a fiery demon that eats Chao! Those were the predictions that I foreshadowed about him by around two years later on.
Sonic : How come...?
[To the Ancient Soleanna Castle by Mariko Nanba]
Rouge : Well...About that.
*flashback*
Rouge : Shadow...Eggman is dealing with another "him" from 200 years in the future, the humans will think they're going to betray you, Grim, the great God of Death, told us that someone is plaguing the timeline.
Shadow : What do you mean, Rouge?
Rouge : What I'm saying that someone is trying to eliminate the past. The Time Stones from the Miracle Planet incident won't work this time, but I believe that they have some kind of connection with a Sun God name Sol that was worshipped by the inhabitants of the Ohkuboverse a long time ago. But the name "Sol" is missing some letters.
Shadow : What commendation does this Sun God named Sol offers the Inhabitants of the Ohkuboverse for what?
Rouge : It's the Chaos Emeralds, the Ancients who arrived on our world a long time ago warned that the Emeralds power and the Time Stones may have a link with Sun God Sol, but turns out the Sun God that the Inhabitants of the Ohkuboverse worshiped isn't Sol at all, it's..."Solaris".
Shadow : What were they thinking that worshiping to someone that isn't appeared whom he seems to be?
*flashback ends with Shinra*
Shinra the Devil Chao : I...I remember now...the Sun God that we worshiped, there was no Sun God named Sol...It's Solaris.
