hello everyone. very recently i came into contact with a woman named hadeel, who needs help in trying to escape the war on gaza with her children and other family members.

for some backstory (more detailed on her blog/gfm)

hadeel is 26 years old and prior to the war worked at a university and owned her own business. she was married and had a soon-to-be three year old daughter, almas. since then, her husband has been martyred, and her daughter became so traumatized she has reverted to urinating on herself in the way a younger child might.

beyond this: hadeel has two nieces she now takes care of, one of whom was orhpaned during the war, and the other whose father (hadeel’s brother) has an injured back.

hadeel is also caring for her mother.

other circumstances:

as of right now, 14 july, she and her family are on the streets due to their tent being destroyed very recently.

what can we do?

in these times, i, as well as hadeel, am calling on your aid, even in the small way of sharing/reblogging, to get her family to safety in egypt.
