Calling out Bustamente is important, but it would be nice, if it was paired with some self reflection and soul searching on some fans part, because those tweets weren't written by her and she wasn't the only one who liked them, or expressed similar sentiments.

Like it's great that everyone is a Lance Warrior now and deeply cares about ableism, but the sentiment rings hollow and hypocratical, when I know, quite a few of those people, who are incredibly loud about how this wasn't the first time Bustamente has liked hateful tweets about Lance, demanded Stroll's head after the Qatar Quali Incident or regularly talk about how he is a piece of shit pay driver, that any random junior driver would easily beat in the same car, just like those tweets said. Also some of these fans have easily forgiven similar mistakes for their faves and don't seem to have any qualms about using discriminatory language towards drivers they hate, which makes me question, if their outrage is genuine or just about being bored during the winter break and finally having an opportunity to have a go at a driver.

Don't get me wrong this is not me excusing Bianca's ableism or trying to shift the blame, I just wish some people would look in the mirror sometimes and practice what they preach, rather than do this weird posturing, whenever a driver fucks up.

Tw: drug abuse

I have been on and off psych meds and have had mixed experiences with them. Especially sedatives and anxiety meds. I’m just the type of person who is going to use them if I have them and I took it too far for a while. Like I legitimately have anxiety and terrible insomnia but the common medications for those things are easily abused by me.

I learned pretty quickly I was not responsible enough for them and went off everything years ago but my anxiety has been so so bad recently; I needed to do something.

It’s kinda scary going to a psychiatrist and knowing I need anxiety medication but knowing I shouldn’t have certain types, you know? Like all that responsibility is on me to be open and honest about what I need vs what I want. I probably could have walked in there and gotten exactly what I was abusing before, no questions asked. And that’s why I stayed away from psych meds even when I probably needed them.

But I did it! I talked through everything with my new psychiatrist think we have some options for me. And I’m hoping these anxiety meds do their job, but not too well 😅

I feel the urge to talk about this on tumblr btw (even tho it obviously isn’t easy since I keep being vague about it) because it’s secret from most people irl. Which is how I want it, but it also means I can’t celebrate things like this. But I’m proud of myself 🥰
