i'm just imagining percy going to college in new rome and jason, who has moved to camp half-blood full time, randomly deciding he also lives in new rome now and just... hanging around all the time. and breaking into percy's dorm.

don't even get me started on the blushing... oh my god. like how can you blush that much and watch someone blush that much and still not realize they like you back. annabeth can't figure out the answer yet here percy and jason are, doing exactly that

just realized that the scene where Crozier tenderly takes care of scurvy-riddled Jopson in his tent--including bathing him--happens after the scene where command discusses how in order to conserve fuel they need to stop melting ice to get water for shaving.

which means Crozier is showing Jopson that he considers Jopson worth the expenditure of a very limited resource.

yeah dude nobody's allowed to shave anymore because we can't afford to melt the ice for it. but you get a bath because you're worth it.
