Devil says “I know you”. He sees how they feel cheated, just like he did. He sees the anger in these three and he uses it to convince them to join the army, because he knows first hand what that anger will make them willing to do. They are just like him, and if they follow him they will reach their goals.

Tonight's dream: VERY specific, gorey-yet-wacky vampire movie.

String quartet catches the attention of a group of vampires, and tries to survive it by sticking together and building traps. They manage to take out 2 of the four, and almost incapacitate the third, but the final vampire queen summons a horde of demons and eventually STABS ALL OF US THROUGH THE CHEST, PINNING US TO THE FLOOR, IT'S OVER, ET CETERA.

Except, wait. If it was a string quartet, why are there only three of us? Well! The last member, being a bit... different than the rest, was not part of this sleepover.

Which is good, because it turns out that character was a MAGIC BARD with a MANA OF 5000 who shows up to save the day, give his band members a thumbs up, and slink away again.

The rest of the story was the very specific clean-up of the building, because all that blood was DEFINITELY a health hazard.

i replayed hypno's lullaby for a quick bit just to feel the nostalgia but replaying dissension made me realize how the strangled red story is probably one of the best creepypastas out there because there's a really good story behind it and it's not just of any ooo scary supernatural shit that every creepypasta falls under - the unnatural playstyle of the game is just the catalyst to tell a good story and the story IS good.

trading is such a simple concept in-game but the genuine horror realizing that a slight mistake in the trade can ruin a simple exchange just to finish a pokedex - which is what happened to poor steven's miki. i can't imagine the guilt mike must've felt and the anger steven carried just for this
