Sobre a vida, meus pensamentos e suas confusões...

A vida passa numa rapidez tão imensa que às vezes não nos damos conta. Olhei para trás e minha sobrinha recém nascida estava completando seis anos de vida. Sonhadora, cheia de atitude e esperteza. Tentei compreender e lembrar o que fiz nestes anos também, percebi que estou tentando organizar uma vida que nem eu percebi o quanto era bagunçada e sem rumo. Hoje me vejo com uma maturidade que imaginei que não alcançaria, estou mais calma para resolver algumas coisas, e posso dizer que até menos ansiosa, mesmo tendo grandes problemas com ansiedade. Com todas as dificuldades que não exponho, sei que a vida poderia estar muito pior, então agradeço muito as grandes ou pequenas conquistas que estão chegando. Pode parecer meio confuso, mas acho que a vida é isso mesmo, uma confusão de sentimentos que tu sempre vai precisar organizar mental, física e espiritualmente. Se estaremos prontos pra isso, ou não, acho que nunca saberemos. A vida sempre nos colocará a prova, acho que esse é e sempre será nosso propósito, achar nosso lugar, aquele confortável, que a gente chame de lar. (06.04.23)

Okay, the push is over: I've purchased the first wave of filmmaking gear. And I've done so semi-responsibly, meaning that although I bought a lot of stuff, I did so using zero-interest credit that is spread out, in separate batches, over six months and twelve months. I've updated my auto payments accordingly, and hopefully I won't feel the financial sting too harshly over the next year.

I worked until almost 8 PM this evening (last-minute Paramount+ stuff). Because of that and watching the first episode of The Acolyte when Leti got home, I started my workout very late. Unfortunately, I'm not optimistic that I'll get a lot of creative work done at all this week, even on my no-gym nights tomorrow and Friday; I have a lot of Allied stuff to do this week that has nothing to do with actual day-to-day work. I gotta write up a self-evaluation ahead of employee reviews by Friday, and I gotta put together a short marketing presentation in time for the weekly Monday morning call because what's a grown-up job without assignments that feel like f*cking homework, I guess. We literally call it show-and-tell. Blergh.

On the other hand, I'm blessed to be employed so I can make those interest-free payments. So there.

Amor, soñé con ballenas. Eran orcas y por alguna razón mis niños las cazaban, pero siempre trataba de que los más pequeños se quedaran, uno de ellos me encajaba sin querer un anzuelo en la boca, ya desperté y creo que aún siento el dolor. Estaban mis colegas y, por alguna razón, el pastor Kike también.

También soñé con hadas, una se llamaba Ariel, como la sirenita, aunque era rubia. Cuando volaba lo hacía en una clase de burbuja llena de agua.

Y el último que recuerdo, era una casa enorme y bastante vieja. Yo iba recorriéndola y, mientras lo hacía, me llegaban flashbacks de ese lugar en otros tiempos, con otras personas y otros paisajes. Recuerdo haber pensado “¿cómo puede durar algo tanto tiempo”.

Tuve más sueños, pero ahora ya sólo recuerdo esos tres. En cada uno de ellos me desperté.

Michelle vomitó un par de veces en la madrugada, eso también me despertó.

En fin, quizás mi destino sea no conocer el sueño corrido.

Por cierto, he estado tomando creatina, leí que te llena de energía, no sé si sea eso o mi ansiedad, pero mi mente ha corrido, o más bien volado, en estos últimos días. Aún no decido si me agrada o lo detesto. La mente de un introvertido ya es bastante ruidosa sin tener que agregarle nada más.

Te amo. También hay amor en el silencio.
